Andrew Ryan's dilemma

I'm offended by gory first-person shooter games. They breed mass murderers like Adam Lanza and James Holmes.

Bioshock is much worse than GTA.

Wolf:

Is that a hypothesis, or, do you have any evidence for that statement?

My error I know about those killers.

I meant evidence on single shooter games being the primary criteria for creating these predators generally.

We all work backward from the mass murder and "discover" a panoply of causative factors.

Both Lanza and Holmes had at least five (5) other factors that, acting in unison, produced the predator.

The debasement of culture by violent video games and this and that is because the cutting edge of the culture is powered by young males educated like shit with no heroes worth a bucket of spit but who have money to buy entertaining crap so they can end up flying drones and blow people up in real time. They are right now learning why bomber crews in WWII against Japan could incinerate entire cities and not suffer PTSD while their lives are ruined by killing people who have no chance against their killing machines while they have no corporeal risk whatsoever. Even in the Vietnam War B-52s were shot down, a kind of tit for tat.

War is hell but technology has made it a Moloch. First The Matrix. Second Columbine. WTFDYE?

gonna get worse, but there is no mean to revert to, life only adjusts and goes on (the past was worse but the future may be worser)
