I have no particular reason for posting this video with Patrick Stewart, except that I find it charming.

I ran into him on Park Avenue near the Lever building in the mid nineties. He was on a break filming what I later found out was called Jeffrey, which must have been quite low budget, because there were only about three other people and a small production van. Literally ran into him coming around the corner at a semi-jog on my way to the gym. Apologized, called him Sejanus (almost called him Captain Kirk,) he chuckled, and I kept going. Also ran into NBC local news anchor Chuck Scarborough the same way on Madison in the same area, but that time it was his fault, not mine

Best Star Trek captain ever! Just saying :)

I grew up watching the original series with my dad. We'd sit down at dinner time to watch them. Then Next Generation came on, and I turned him on to that. He had a thing for Councelor Troi. But then, who didn't??

Patrick Stewart, though, is one of those phenomenal actors that doesn't get typecast. He made an excellent Scrooge, too.

Sejanus, perfect, that must have taken some presence of mind. If/when I run into him, I'll try to remember to call him Leondegrance.

25 seconds in, it's a little hard to make him out in all that armor.

Here's a little reply to Patrick Stewart's views on Twitter, coming from the future, courtesy of Step Hen Fry.

Oddly, I can't find the original, this is some Greek (I think its Greek) mirror upload.

Ah yes! I almost forgot about this one. He must have been beefier back in those days. A full set of armor is hard to lug around, and from the look of it, those were the real thing.
