Becket which came out in 1964 has been remastered. The film stars Richard Burton and Peter O'Toole. It tells the story of the early friendship and later enmity between Henry the 2nd and Thomas A'Becket. Henry is played by Peter O'Toole and Richard Burton played Becket. It has a host of dramatic scenes ending in the murder of Becket by Henry's knights. It is showing in theaters around but will be on a new DVD. If you have not seen it do. ~ Burton, at his best, and O'Toole, at his normal (which is always his best): can't get better than that combo in serious drama (well, maybe O'Toole and Hepburn in THE LION IN WINTER, but, I digress...)
