Michael Stuart Kelly
I just saw this on YouTube and thought it was kinda cool. It is not really professional and there is too much zoom on stills, but it has an original concept and the use of non-standard quotes is a pleasure. Short and sweet. I enjoyed it. I hope you do, too.Ayn Rand (1905-1982)Michael
Dragonfly
Those two photos intrigued me, I'd never seen them before.
Barbara Branden
Michael, I think it's lovely. I'm glad you posted it.Barbara
Greybird
It's dramatic and effective, especially the photos, though a couple of the quotes are a bit long to be scanned quickly. (Occupational hazard: I do wish more would take the time to proofread. One "youself" leapt out at me.)Many videos of Rand herself are also posted on YouTube, such as her 1959 interview with Mike Wallace and her 1979 appearance with Phil Donahue. John Dailey
~ Really good 'attitude'-encapsulating quotes (so many more could have been added!)~ An attitude on a par with "Then we will fight in the shade" and "Come and Get Them!"~ Being forcibly-ruled by the emotional desires of others benefits neither the individuals nor the culture/society they're in, including the ruler.~ Good catch, Mike.LLAPJ:D
Robert Jones
It was like a trailer or commercial. Good use of visuals, but music was definitely generic sound electrostock, too muzaky.

emb021
The video seems truncated. I felt like there should have been more.
John Dailey
Robert:~ No argument! *My* implied argument was how his music has been 'used' by others as bland 'background' sound-ambience; think 'elevators'...and...this video. This video's was much more...apropos.LLAPJ:D Edited March 22, 2007 by John Dailey
