Victor Pross
Honey, those songs are gorgeous. I want to express (as much as I can in these songs) how I feel—and even though you might have heard them before—the words are right from me to you more so now than before. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdMJufSi028 (Shania Twain & Alison Krauss ~ Forever and Always)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3deToKl_Dg (Woman) (Shania Twain - From This Moment On) (Jim Cuddy - Pull Me Through)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lOGgbl32TU (Paul McCartney - My Love) Edited February 6, 2007 by Victor Pross

Victor Pross
(Blue Rodeo-"Bulletproof ") Honey, now here is a Blue Rodeo tune you must hear. The lyrics really speak about me and you like you wouldn’t believe. Listen carefully, sweetie. There is a lot here, hon--a lot--and a little confession on my part, too. From Canada with love—it’s Bulletproof. :heart:Extra: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCb2U5fEKzc...ted&search= "Lady" (That means you;)Sweetie, here is one of my favorite ELO songs called Mr. Blue Sky. Ah, Mr. BLUE SKY indeed! The song is originally from the "Concerto for a Rainy Day" suite on side three of the original two LP set. Now, this is not a love song per se—and yet I want to share it with you because of the song’s joyful and benevolent “sense of life”. The lyrics and the beat cries out a joyful “Atlantis” and for that reason it is here for you. Even the visuals in the song communicate this joy as well. Now that you are in my life, this song communicates how I feel inside. You see, this song speaks to me of what Ayn Rand would describe as a “radiant universe untouched by pain and suffering.” For me, it is pure radiance. Enjoy, sweetie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-gbmcPGimc...ted&search= (Mr Blue Sky) :flowers:"Heyyou with the pretty face--welcome to the human race!A celebration!Mister Blue Sky's up there waitin'And today is the day we've waited forhey!hey!" CNA
Oh, my, Honey, I absolutely love the songs. They are so beautiful. I was waiting for you to put up Cash as I know you are a huge fan of his and he means a lot to you in so many ways. I loved all the songs you put up but especially liked June and Cash and Cuddy too. Cash and June are absolutely adorable together. You know, I think we're the only vocal love birds on OL. That's okay though. There's so many great love songs out there. When I get more time, I'll definitely put up some more.

JennaW
I have a soft spot in my heart for Fly me to the moon. He also sent me the score of You Are the Sunshine of my Life. And put it on a mix CD he made for me.When we hung out at night in our bungalow, we'd play some Keith Jarrett, the Koln Concert. I can't find a youtube video of that. But it's beautiful. Chris Grieb
I have to mention Patsy Cline for her songs. Some of Hank Williams too. I love You Were Always on my Mind by Willie Nelson. I know the song was originally done by Elvis but Willie made it his own. The movie Brief Encounter has been on TCM. As background music it uses Rachmaninoff 2nd Piano. Year ago I had a recording by Noel Coward & Margaret Leighton in a two person version of the story. The love theme from Tristam & Isolde by Wagner. The love theme from Hitchcock's Vertigo by Bernard Hermann. I think someone will find something you like in these selections. You Tube is pretty easy to navigate. I also looked for the themes from the various movies you mentioned and unfortunately had difficult time finding most on You Tube, although found Bernard Hermann who was the composer for Hithcock's Vertigo. But not sure which you are talking about as there are many. There's many love selections on the soundtrack and also limited on what was on You Tube so I'll include the ones I came up with. As for the others, you tube didn't bring up anything. But here's some for you to enjoy.Willie Nelson - Always On My Mindhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEXqZFhl_hYPatsy Cline - Crazy - Lovesick Blues - Tribute (Sweet Dreams) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8nG0sQ3sekhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXBtzQ9ho54 (She's so cute, great voice ) Bernard Hermann - Vertigo Edited February 8, 2007 by CNA
