I can't recall in all the writings of AR if she did anything for the fun of it. I asked Barbara Branden on this site, yrs. ago, whether AR ever played or was a spectator of any sport. She stated an unequivocal no. How sad it is, IMO, to never experience having a fun time doing certain things.

B,

Rand wrote about watching TV. She liked Perry Mason.

Frank and she would watch it at night.

:)

She also played solitaire, especially when she was stuck in her writing.

And, of course, she held a philosophy salon with her insiders most days where she was Philosopher Queen.

Michael, not my idea of "fun" but to each his own.

B,

Fun can get weird, too.

Back when I was in college, I learned that Horowitz, the famous pianist, used to go to a hilltop overlooking a prison and watched the incarcerated men for hours at a time.

That's what he did for fun.

:)

Of course, then there's Diddy...

I wonder how many celebrities are "anxious" to see if their sexual exploits were captured on film. And I am amazed at how many celebrity "morons' went to his house. What is wrong with you gifted performers? I won't list any of them who went to his HOUSE . . . but you can look it up.
