The people in power, and the people at the top, believe in it.

They sponsor it. They display it as the good.

That's the point.

Even someone as scattered as Ye sees it.

He wants no part of that world, even if he has to trash he own career to say, "And I mean it."

Remember, the people who clamor for Ye to be censored and branded as an antisemite for a publicity stunt are constantly consuming devil worship and ick in the mainstream as entertainment without a peep.

Kanye West returned to social media on Saturday to inform the world that actually "likes" Jewish people again and it's thanks to Jonah Hill.

I, for one, knew this was coming.

I've produced too many pop stars. 

I never produced anyone near Kanye's size, granted, but size is merely degree, not kind.

A tiny gecko and a big-ass alligator may look different, but they are both reptiles.

And as the saying goes, if it looks like a reptile, walks like a reptile and does shit reptiles do, it's a reptile.

 

 

Pop stars know they are nothing without an audience and media. And they will do anything to get both.

I admire the hell out of Kanye. He stuck his finger in the eye of the bigotry zeitgeist of the entire world to see what would happen. He risked his audience big-time.

Had he pulled it off, he would have been a savior figure. Instead, he lost his audience and media.

And like the consummate pop star he is, his first item of business is get them back. If that means backpedaling on his journey into creating outrage porn for the self-righteous, hell, it's just a backpedal.

 

People who swim in the outrage story don't know what he's doing, but I do.

 

A professional will do what professionals do. They don't just live in temporary media fads. If a particular fad needs to be sacrificed for him or her to get back in the saddle, they do what they have to do and they get back in the saddle.

As the great lady once said (and I paraphrase), if you sacrifice a lower value for a higher value when you can't have both, that is not a sacrifice. That's a gain.
