Current Riots in America (June 2020)

That's the Antifa shuffle. And here's the MAGA dance with Ricky Rebel.

From the different takes sewn together, it looks like the cops never did know what to do with this when they were filming. Look at it right and you can see comic book thought bubbles go up over their heads with a question mark in them.

:)

An article about this:

BLM protest turns into MAGA YMCA dance party and it’s just what the doctor ordered

Yup.

The revolution was organized. The bad guys even indoctrinated an entire generation of mostly white people right under everyone's noses. But they left out one critical thing.

Footsoldiers.

They had to import the other colors and persuasions for footsoldiers, and they didn't indoctrinate the corresponding black people already living here. They just had the government give some of them some shit and left them alone until voting time would come around.

Now it's showtime, the lefties have set the revolution in motion with organized riots, and reality emerged in the form of a pissed off brick wall.

That's what happens when you're a Marxist revolutionary and think black people are too stupid to bother with subjecting them to formal indoctrination. That they are already led around by the nose.

They ignored black people start thinking for themselves and, when they take a good hard look at you, they find don't like you. Not at all.

Talk about a total misfire.

But that's what elitists do, even Marxist ones...

Another blow is on the way. From Fox News:

Trump warns schools teaching 1619 Project 'will not be funded'

Quote

President Trump said Sunday that the Department of Education is examining the use of the New York Times Magazine's 1619 Project in schools, and warned that institutions that teach this alternative narrative of American history could lose federal funding.

The project is based on the premise that American history began in 1619 -- cited as the date African slaves arrived in Virginia -- and that everything following this should be viewed through that lens.

. . .

The project, created by Nikole Hannah-Jones, was awarded the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Commentary. However, multiple historians have criticized the series of articles for multiple inaccuracies, including the argument that the American Revolution was fought not to achieve independence from Britain, but to preserve the institution of slavery.

And there's this:

This imaginary Marxist and racist statue is finally coming down.

The right way.

As often the case with Trump, this is far more hype than substance. About 91% of K-12 public education is funded by state & local governments. Only 9% is by the federal government, and that goes through state education bureaucracies. Also, Trump doesn’t sign the checks or even decide the payees.

Merlin,

That's great.

So I'm sure they won't miss the 9% too much when it's cut.

:)

Nor the federal bailouts for the states who spend on education (like teacher pensions and benefits) what they don't take in.

But you've convinced me. Man, that Trump dude. He has no teeth at all, right? He sure as hell doesn't understand money...

That's it. I'm changing my vote for Biden. Clearly he's the better choice. I've never seen Merlin fact-check him so rigorously like he does Trump, so he must be the better candidate.

This is not the way Americans normally respond.

But this is the way many Americans want to respond to tyranny when they get fed up.

Then some of them act on it.

I don't like to see this, but I do expect to see more of it.

And, being Americans, they will follow a general rule:

They stop, we stop.

So if BLM and Antifa don't want more of this, they need to knock off the rioting and bullying bullshit. If they don't and if the DA's keep letting BLM and Antifa criminals out as soon as they are arrested, there will be a painful backlash from fed up normal people. This video is just a tiny sample.

One way or another, the problem will get solved.

Michael

btw - The general commentary is not. "How outrageous." It's more along the lines of, "The dog knew enough to get out of the way of the car." :)

Unbelievably, after President Trump canceled all classes in the federal government of critical race theory, some bonehead is still trying to go ahead with it.

CDC Ignores Presidential Order and Moves Forward with Critical Race Theory Program — Pushing Marxist Garbage that Accuses Police of Racism

Thankfully, as given in the article, Christopher Rufo is on the gig. He's the guy who brought this problem to the attention of President Trump.

CDC is awful and needs to be fumigated, anyway.

It looks like the whole Marxist infiltration of the USA school system is going to take a serious fall. The jig is up when it is stated as clearly as it is by a President of the USA.

President Trump even mentioned Howard Zinn as one of the evil ones.

Thank God.

Whew!...

Now the world can start becoming sane again.

It will take a while to clean the mess up, but this particular Marxist project--anti-American indoctrination in the education system--that has lasted decades just took a fatal blow

😄 Marxism is to MSK what burning fossil fuels is to climate alarmists -- the basis of numerous non sequiturs.

Trump clearly did not say "Marxist" in his tweet; he said "left-wing." He didn’t call Howard Zinn a “Marxist” either. MSK needs to indoctrinate Trump about a few things. 😀

Dictionaries

Merlin apparently has never heard of a dictionary. Open any dictionary to any page and ALL terms have more than one definition.

ALL.

And if any new term should only have one definition, it will only be a matter of time before it acquires a second. That's just the way language works. It evolves.

Merlin wants a term to have ONE meaning only despite countless dictionaries across the planet in many different languages, ALL using the same standard of more than one definition.

Marxism

To wit...

It is perfectly reasonable to call an organized movement that has historical roots in Marxism "Marxist," even though the Marxists over the years tried to change the language because "Marxist" sounds ugly these days.

A good example in the Objectivist world is to call Ayn Rand an Aristotelian even though she disagreed with Aristotle a lot. She called herself an Objectivist in most contexts, but if someone were to ask whether she was more in line with Plato or Aristotle, it would be quite reasonable to call her an Aristotelian.

For the term Marxist, if we go to this page, we can see several definitions of Marxism, including one from Collins English Dictionary:

Quote

The economic and political theory and practice originated by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels that holds that actions and human institutions are economically determined, that the class struggle is the basic agency of historical change, and that capitalism will ultimately be superseded by communism.

That comprises the fundamentals. We can quibble over whether socialism is communism, whether critical race theory does not involve economics, and things like that (Merlin loves him some gotchas over trivialities), but conceptually, using Rand's idea of hierarchical knowledge, it is correct to call both socialism and communism communism. And, in fundamentals, it is correct to call critical race theory Marxist.

Changing terms to hide evil

There is no reason on earth, now that the spotlight is on modern-day Marxism, to allow the bad guys to change the wording to make evil sound better. They got away with this once so much, they coopted the term "liberal" and made it mean the exact opposite of what it meant before. Talk about sweet poison. The candy coating tastes good, but the crap it covers kills freedom.

And what did the Merlins of the world do back then? They caved and played word games and pretended they won some kind of something or whatever. It made them feel good as the world made room for another level of hell.

The principle is you cannot defeat an enemy if you constantly misidentify it. Mixing up labels and playing word games are great ways to confound correct identification in public.

I'm not going to comply with this bullshit for Marxism right now. I refuse to put a smiley face on Marxism and pretend it isn't what it is just because one meaning doesn't agree with other meanings to some people and they, the gotcha warriors, but especially Marxists, communists, collectivists and all other names that indicate what I am calling "Marxism" right now wish to quibble over words.

The piles of dead bodies mean nothing to these people when they want to be right over word games.

Scrabble

They need to play Scrabble or something and leave reality to people who will defend freedom, unless they want to be a bad guy and help the world devolve into hell.

I don't think Merlin is a bad guy, though. He always has had trouble with fundamentals, context and words that convey different meanings. I would suggest he study dictionaries a bit more, but it's probably too late for that.

Scrabble might be interesting to him, though...

:)

Here is what Marxism looks like these days. But don't forget, Marxism is a plan with a timeline, not an on-off switch. In taking over a different country, there are stages and some of them will not look like old-style Marxism until it's too late and time to execute the useful idiots.

Rush Limbaugh mentioned the following article this morning. China bought the elitists in America.

(btw - Lee Smith, the author, is the guy who helped Devin Nunes bust open Crossfire Hurricane and has been involved in other exposés about the Russia-Trump hoaxes.)

America’s China Class Launches a New War Against Trump
The corporate, tech, and media elites will not allow the president to come between them and Chinese money
by
Lee Smith
September 15, 2020

Quote

Chances are that by the time you get to the end of this article, there will be news of another information operation targeting Donald Trump. There’s one a day now—each trumpeting a new mortal threat to the republic or some dastardly revelation based on sources that are usually anonymous. Whatever it is, it will serve the same purpose as the hundreds of similar sallies launched over the last four years—namely, to preserve and protect the position and privileges of America’s ruling elite.

Trump stories are rarely about Trump. The same stories, or versions of them, would have targeted anyone who threatened to sever the American political, corporate, and cultural elite’s economic lifeline to the Chinese Communist Party. It is largely because Trump sought to decouple the United States from the CCP that America’s China Class, which owns the platforms on which Americans communicate, has waged a relentless campaign of information warfare against him through its social media and prestige media brands.

. . .

American journalists, who now draw their paychecks directly and indirectly from the country’s largest economic interest—technopolies like Amazon, Apple, Google, and Facebook—are now turning the public sphere into a phantasmagoria of conspiracy theories and hysteria to cement the politburo’s position and privilege.

Accordingly, the debate in Washington, D.C., over which great power is feeding more disinformation into the 2020 election cycle isn’t real—it’s not Russia, as collusion impresario and Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff claims, nor, as Attorney General William Barr says, is it China, though he’s closer to the truth. The source of the purposeful disinformation pouring into the American public sphere like untreated sewage is the American elite, led by its tech oligarchs, who own the platforms on which information campaigns are staged and laundered to protect their core interests—foremost among them being cheap Chinese labor and access to Chinese markets.

. . .

A little historical background may help explain how America’s information supply has become so badly poisoned. The Atlantic magazine was founded in the mid-19th century in Boston, where it published some of the founding figures of the American nationalist movement in literature like Ralph Waldo Emerson and Oliver Wendell Holmes. In 2005, its owner moved the Atlantic to Washington, D.C., where it accomplished the rare feat of turning a profit in the contemporary publishing industry—not by selling magazines or ad space, which had been turned into cheap commodities by the rise of the internet, but by billing Beltway lobbyists and tech and defense executives for the opportunity to influence well-known thought leaders at conferences, luncheons, and parties hosted under the Atlantic label in Washington, Aspen, and elsewhere. Laurene Powell Jobs bought a majority share in 2017.

The big message her property sent with its anti-Trump blog post was that Trump is contemptuous of a significant part of his base. What many Trump supporters saw was something else, though: Another proof of the elite’s determination to replay the 2016 election cycle.

Four years ago, few normal Americans imagined that their political class was capable of manufacturing a conspiracy theory out of whole cloth and laundering it through the nation’s spy agencies and the press in the hope of overturning the result of a democratic election. But after four years of Russiagate, and subsequent operations (the Mueller investigation, Ukrainegate, the razing and looting of American cities disguised as “peaceful protests,” etc.), no one is unaware that such coordinated campaigns are possible. In fact, they have become normal.

This time around, the role played by spies in the 2016 election is being filled by former senior Pentagon officials, including James Mattis, Trump’s one-time defense secretary. In June, Mattis wrote an article—in the Atlantic—likening Trump to the Nazis for wanting to dispatch the military to protect the lives, homes, and businesses of American voters.

Gen. Mattis is no stranger to Silicon Valley or its scandals. As head of U.S. Central Command, the four-star Marine general pushed for the products of one Silicon Valley startup to be used on wounded Americans in uniform, and after retiring he won a lucrative seat on the board of the same company, Theranos, which turned out to be the biggest fraud in the history of biotech.

Then there’s Stanley McChrystal, a retired four-star Army general who is reportedly advising a Democratic PAC called “Defeat Disinfo” on how to use Pentagon software to wage information warfare operations against the Trump campaign. McChrystal resigned his post in 2010 after a magazine reporter documented how he and his aides savagely mocked then-Vice President Biden, the man his information warfare campaign is now supposed to install in the White House.

McChrystal’s beef with Trump is something more than just greed or ego. He has been openly critical of Trump for wanting to get American forces out of the Middle East. He ripped the president when Mattis left his Pentagon post because the Marine wanted to keep more troops in Syria. McChrystal was head of operations in Afghanistan and thinks Trump should stay there, too. The problem is, he’s not sure why. As he told Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, he thinks the best option is to stay in Afghanistan and “muddle along.” And now he’s getting paid by Silicon Valley, too.

. . .

The central pillar of the corrupt new order is the American elite’s relationship with China. To be clear, the issue is not that former media organizations like the Post and the Atlantic are pro-China. Both publish articles about the Chinese military, intelligence services, propaganda campaigns, human rights abuses, etc.—at the same time as the Post runs a regular insert produced by the Chinese Communist Party called China Daily. The point is that terms like pro- or anti-Red China are from a different era, when publications like Henry Luce’s Time Magazine were partisan and had points of view.

What matters now are platforms. And for the purposes of information warfare, what’s important is not the content but rather the availability and reach of the platforms, whose job is to protect the American ruling elite’s wealth and preferences by spreading whatever propaganda the elite sees as beneficial. By threatening to split the United States from China, Trump earned the enmity of America’s China Class, which is working hard to remove him from office, and replace him with someone more pliant.

. . .

American political and corporate elites didn’t choose decline. They chose to get rich. By shipping America’s manufacturing base off to China, they seized a business opportunity the likes of which had never been seen before—an enormous captive labor force controlled by an authoritarian regime that guaranteed the steady production of goods at a fraction of what it would cost at home. American cultural elites (Hollywood, sports, art, etc.) who exploited the increasingly large Chinese market for their products provided cover for the China Class cohort with messaging that dovetailed with CCP propaganda.

Who were Americans to judge a great and ancient civilization like China’s for jailing dissidents and enslaving the Uighur minority? Doesn’t America have its own history of slavery and political prisoners? It’s racist to protect American jobs. Those jobs aren’t coming back and there is nothing to be done about it, as Barack Obama famously said—unless you have a magic wand

. . .

The American elite’s financial relationship with China is the key to understanding what’s been happening in America the past four years. Any president, Democrat or Republican, who took on China would have been targeted by the China Class.

Now, there are those who will try to say that the Chinese Communist Party isn't Marxist, so this article has nothing to do with Marxism (after all, the term "Marxism" was not used in the article  ), but, then again, there there are those (like me) who say this is all Marxist at root. Variations on Marxism, but Marxism nonetheless.

Guess who's right?

Me, of course.

:)

And, as a final thought, by disrupting the Chinese takeover of the USA, President Trump is saving the asses of assholes like those generals, and press, and other elitists, who sold out America to China. In all Marxist stories throughout history, killing elite fellow travelers and useful idiots, even wealthy ones, after consolidation of power has been a standard plot point.

As the saying goes, those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Unless someone like President Trump comes along and saves their sorry asses.

Here's a quick story.

Merlin and I are in the the Amazon jungle. As we walk along, swatting the bugs, I see something threatening rustling about in the leaves. Then I see it.

ME: Run, Merlin! There's a leopard over there. It's staring at us.

MERLIN: Oh, my. MSK is in South America where leopards do not exist. He might be referring to a jaguar. A jaguar does exist here, but leopards? Knowing MSK...

ME (running): Run, Merlin. For God's sake! Run!

MERLIN: Everything is a leopard to MSK. (self-satisfied laugh) Oh my, oh my...

ME (further away): Run, goddamit! The wildcat is coming right at you!

MERLIN: Now it's a wildcat. When MSK is wrong, notice that he always changes the subject and runs away.

The jaguar springs.

Merlin is heard from no more.
