Now Come the Leftist Goons

An Antifa mob showed up at Tucker Carlson's house demanding he leave town or else. He has a wife and four kids who live with him in that house.

And the goons threatened that this was just the beginning.

DC Antifa Publishes Home Addresses of Tucker Carlson and His Brother — As Well As Ann Coulter, Neil Patel, and Sean Hannity

Quote

Hours after an Antifa mob showed up at the home of Fox News host Tucker Carlson, an affiliated Twitter account published his home address and the home address of his brother Buckley Carlson — along with the addresses of Ann Coulter, Daily Caller’s Neil Patel, and Sean Hannity.

This isn't the only leftie violent reaction to the elections.

I'll put up more as we go along. If you see something, please post it.

What bothers me about the 2018 election is that it retains the status quo.  But President Trump was doing great things and the continuation of his work must get by a democrat House now. Not good. Sure 2018 may set up a Trump reelection in 2020 but America is losing out on all the good that could come from a President who is intent on making us safer, stronger, freer and better off financially for two years of His optimal endeavors.

No need for a new thread about this.

The Antifa assholes never changed.

Journalist Andy Ngo just got beat up by a group of masked Antifa thugs in Portland, Oregon, and he had to go to the hospital. According to the Portland Police, some of the milkshakes thrown at him contained quick-drying cement. In other words, they were like bricks.

And this...

And this...

Here are a few facts from leftie Heavy. The rhetoric is pretty much slanted left, but the facts seem accurate.

Andy Ngo Attacked: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

This is getting the attention of major Fox News talent (including Laura Ingraham) , so I imagine it will be all over the rest of the mainstream news later.

The fake news media would probably not report this in ordinary circumstances, but there are pictures of actual blood circulating, so I don't think they will be able to help themselves.

Who was also there? The Proud Boys? This has to be a joke right? No. Un-sane? These low life losers exist but they can’t be doing well.  Peter

The Proud Boys from Wikipedia. The Proud Boys say they have an initiation process that has four stages and includes hazing. The first stage is a loyalty oath, on the order of "I’m a proud Western chauvinist, I refuse to apologize for creating the modern world"; the second is getting punched until the person recites pop culture trivia, such as the names of five breakfast cereals; the third is getting a tattoo and agreeing to not masturbate; and the fourth is getting into a major fight "for the cause."

The Proud Boys have adopted a black Fred Perry polo shirt with yellow piping as their unofficial uniform. Fred Perry was previously associated with the Mod subculture and skinhead groups, including the British National Front.  Fred Perry's CEO John Flynn denounced the affiliation with the Proud Boys in a statement to CBC Radio, saying "We don't support the ideals or the group that you speak of. It is counter to our beliefs and the people we work with."[

Women and transgender men are not allowed in the organization. The Proud Boys discourages its members from masturbating and watching pornography so as to motivate them to get "off the couch" and meet women. McInnes added no masturbation to the group's core ideas after interacting with Dante Nero, a relationship expert and comedian with a podcast on Riotcast, who came to serve as a sort of "pope" for this idea within the organization.

Peter,

I don't know what you are trying to say here.

Are you criticizing Antifa for attacking people with quick-drying cement bricks at a rally by a fringe group, or are you criticizing the fringe group for existing?

Between the tut-tut-tut of some misguided dudes holding a rally nobody goes to (other than troublemakers like Antifa) or a felony assault (and possibly attempted murder) of putting a guy in the hospital with a brain hemorrhage...

I don't know...

We all have our priorities of what deserves condemnation, I guess.

I suspect everyone thinks Antifa is a bunch of goons. I just thought the alt right "boys" were a bunch of losers and goons too. I supposed their ages might be around 18 or so but they might be younger. I think "initiations" as with them, or the Masons for that matter, are for losers.

My Dad used to go through "secret rites" to get to a higher level of stupidity and superstition with the Masons. Handshakes. Secret passwords. Words to use in a conversation if you were trying to see if they were a Mason too. That's just crazy.

I know. I know, it is sometimes  better to avoid the objectionable in life rather than openly criticize it to avoid dislike and retribution. I think group think and cliques start in high school and then carry into adult life. I think the Boys were a bunch of ding dongs asking to be scarred or to die. Peter

Is it a good thing having a right wing group, violently protest against a violent leftist group? As President Trump said and then regretted, there are good people on both sides. Well maybe. However the satisfaction would be in seeing the Antifa people get their asses kicked. I could go for that without supporting the Fascists who do the kicking. Preferably I would like to see the violent leftist protesters be arrested and go to jail for every act of rioting and violence. And not just a jail term of one night. I get sick of the argument that “peaceful” protests and disobedience are on the same moral plane as violence.

What if you are a peaceful “right wing” or libertarian group but just for safety’s sake you bring a weapon to a rally? It does make sense. And you will see policemen keeping the protesters safe. But when the nasties rush the stage, or “clash” that is when I am for the use of at least, rubber bullets.

John W. Campbell, science fiction writer and editor wrote an interesting oped around 1970 about Kent State and other protests that turned violent. If you remember the news, the National Guard opened fire after several of them were hit with rocks at Kent State and at least one protester died. Campbell noted that as a killing weapon Rocks have be used for thousands of years and the self-defense was regrettable but justified. Peter

If your Mom started the pre-school then you were the Top Cat. Shush. You can’t rant against Brant. Brant can take that toy you were playing with. Because I say so. If I walk out of the room, you other kids listen to Brant. He is in charge.

When my granddaughter starts 4th grade in September she will be at the school where her Mom, my daughter, teaches . . . 4th grade. Talk about pressure! Peter

Peter,

I don't know all that much about the Proud Buys, but I have listened to them being talked about (was it by someone on David Rubin or Joe Rogan? -- somewhere like that, and not just once). Going on what I have heard, apparently the Proud Boys came into being to protect Trump supporters at pro-Trump rallies or other anti-left gatherings like the Charlottesville  thing to protest removing Civil War era statues of Confederate leaders. The Proud Boys are said to have been founded by Gavin McInnes, but I have also heard they were in existence before he got involved.

Back when all this started, do you remember that some people, thugs, were being hired by the Democrats to start trouble at pro-Trump gatherings? Antifa joined in over time with gusto, carrying baseball bats. A group of people joined together, called themselves the Proud Boys, and basically said if these Antifa goons show up with baseball bats, they will encounter some serious resistance that punches back.

They did, too. There are several videos I have seen where an Antifa goon(s) attacked someone who looked like a Proud Boy and got knocked on their ass. The anti-Trump press greatly favors Antifa and they have made up a lot of nasty shit about the Proud Boys, and it's so much shit that no one knows what is true or false anymore.

Whenever there are rallies or voting or any event that looks like Antifa will show up, the Proud Boys tend to show up, too, to protect the gatherers. They are constantly goaded by Antifa and Antifa supporters, who found out that baseball bats give a poor press image, so they now use attack gloves, bicycle locks, fast-drying cement bricks, and anything else they can hide or or camouflage, but that draws blood.

Anyway, whatever the reason, one or the other of the Proud Boys snapped a couple of times and got caught on tape pounding on an Antifarian goon with some serious pounding. The press went nuts even as they mostly ignored similar things on the other side like Antifa throwing camouflaged cement bricks at Andy Ngo and busting his head. There are so many stories like this, it's not funny.

Notice Antifa goons wear masks and look like goons. The Proud Boys do not. Maybe the Proud Boys do some crazy shit now (I seriously don't know since I don't follow them), but if they do, they didn't start that way. To be frank, I don't trust anything the anti-Trump fake news media says about them (racist, incel, masturbation, etc.). This goes for Wikipedia, too.

But I suspect I know why the press covers for Antifa. Whenever you see Antifa members without their ski masks on, you see they are generally white and upper class. (Not much diversity there.) So these Antifa goons may be the sons and daughters (and their friends) of serious power players among the establishment ruling class.

Our fearless leaders are merely protecting their kids when their kids bloody up Trump supporters, and these fearless leaders will be goddamed if they will allow their sons and daughters to be humiliated in the press by photos and videos of them being knocked out with easy punches, even as they are armed with sundry devices like attack gloves and in goon uniform.

And I would cheer that, and I would be happy if any security force was patrolling and protecting freedom loving Americans from Antifa thugs. This doesn’t pertain to what I have seen about The Proud Boys, but I draw the line when what is called Alt Right, or Right Wing people / protesters, are sporting swastikas. Extreme times on the village green prompt this objectivist to stop quoting Wiki about the Proud Boys. Go getum’ tiger.

Talk about making something from nothing. I have mentioned before how my granddaughter collects toys that almost look real but are sort of like a puppet. I remember collecting toy or look alike elephants, toy soldiers, and dinosaurs. I still have two of the steel elephants. My grandfather had a dark steel brontosaurus friom a World's Fair, and I thought it would go to me, but  . . .  Peter

From June of this year. History of TY. A very small toy company opened up in 1986. Ty Warner, The man behind all of this was trying to make success out of plenty of different toys of all sorts. But, the company’s biggest win would not be until 1993.

Ty Warner wanted to make his mark in the toy industry. Then one day in the year of 1993, he came up with plush toys. They were named Beanie Babies. They weren’t very much of a win for Ty but, he’d keep trying. He kept producing the plush toys. One day though, he noticed that the elephant Beanie Baby Peanut was selling in stores rather quickly for some reason and Ty got the perfect idea. He would retire Beanie Babies frequently so, people would try to buy them while they could before the Beanie Baby (babies) would suddenly retire. This was such a hit for Ty so, he carried on with the plan. People were crazy for these. It was the era in time during the 90’s that people had to collect them all. Ty worked with Mc Donald’s in the 90s and put smaller sized Beanie Babies into Happy Meals. (That wouldn’t be the last encounter with Ty and Mc Donald’s) Ty was happy. It was even like Beanie Babies were taking over the world! Ty was making too much money. The toy company was unstoppable until one day.   People still collect Beanie Babies. This is a person’s collection. They can be quite expensive on EBay.

One day, the Beanie Babies were getting unpopular and less people were still collecting them. This made Ty shut down the company’s stock of Beanie Babies. The last Beanie Baby style at the time was the “The End” Beanie Baby in 1999. But this was only the beginning. Ty started to get back in the Beanie Babies. They were there for a brief amount of time before completely closing.

Modern technology was coming and Ty started to make a game involving Beanie Babies. They were known as Beanie Babies 2.o. This was not a win. The last one was a chocolate lab before these toys disappeared.  This is the computer game cover. You scanned the new Beanie Baby 2.o to see them become a real virtual pet. Ty had another plan and that was Beanie Boos. They were released in 2009. The first ones were only released in the UK. Ty was in some trouble. Yoo-hoo and Friends, a plush company by Aurora sued Ty because the lemurs that Ty produced looked like the lemurs they produced.
