What if Achmed, Faisal and Ibrihim drove and 18 wheeler filled with high explosive through the Lincoln Tunnel at rush hour and blow themselves up while at the middle of the tunnel? Then Prince Obama would say Islam is a peaceful religion and Queen Hillary would bring more muslims into the country and Donald would load them into boxcars. My guess is that if Lady Rodham has her way we will have trucks running over Americans on our own turf. Then we shall see how Congress reacts. I am not feeling particularly optimistic regardless of how the election comes out. The country is fucked up and it may require blood to get people to focus. Ba'al, I've said to a few people that what might be the reason of the divisiveness and ill will toward other men in our country is because we haven't been involved in a large scale war for a while--that we might need a common enemy to find out how much Americans have in common... realizing this sounds Heraclitian, unfortunately many people in the US don't have the self-initiative to do that and need a jolt. This kind of strife and change wouldn't apply to people who would want to and can change for the good on their own. I'd much rather see people self-conscientiousness enough to change themselves and change this country for the good from the inside-out, without bloodshed... Look to history to find the path of evil, tap into some of that antecedental knoweldge of Mankind to start developing principles of what doesn't work, and what does. Most people won't do that, can't do that (maybe don't know to do that), and end up with a savage dog-eat-dog worldview and live everyday by a perversion of Americanism. I think these people need more Reason than strife, and I would like a reemergence to be Reason, Art, and Individualism rather than a mental enslavement to one another, leading to more hate and bloodshed..
