andie holland
The term 'abduction' seems to be the most agreed-upon term that describes a basic inductive method that's modified by a priori notions as what to expect.Likewise, abduction modifies the classic Aristotelian deductive model by stating that conclusions do not necessarily fall from premises. In other words, doing science involves a lot of educated guessing.Andie

I'm presently enrolled in Spain, at Salamanca, to write my dissertation on the origin of Spanish poetry. moreover, 'extasis' as stemming from the Persian gazul worked its way through Spain into all of European verse.I'm on this Objectivist site to maintain an American contact. Interestingly enough, while student- Spanish ideas vary far more from mine than to those of Rand (theirs being somewhat communistic), everyone here has treated me with far more respect that that which you've shown. tmj
I think it's a team effort. I think part of the back story of one or more of the postings may be true, that it is some kind of research into group dynamics.
Michael Stuart Kelly
tmj,OL an unknowing and unwilling guinea pig for a social experiment?Maybe.I've seen so much I won't discount this possibility.I just think this is a neurotic person, though. (Lots of reasons to think this.)Why do crazy people do what crazy people do?Because they can't not do it.They're crazy. Michael

Michael Stuart Kelly
Social engineering web forums?Mike,That's a great article.I have both print and audio versions of Social Engineering: The Art of Human Hacking by Christopher Hadnagy.I went through the audio version on my walks and I've skimmed through the book more than once. I keep going back to different parts.Talk about wicked!I wish there was not so much geek stuff in it. I even tried downloading some of the data programs and futzing around with them. (But not invasive hacking--which I don't like to mess with.)But I fuck it up too much to be dangerous.Michael
Reidy
(S?)he's back on OL as well. Over there, this individual is still in the make-nice phase of his/her well-established modus operandi. Here (s)he moved on more quickly to insults (#4) such as (s)he has directed in the past at sexuality and age. The good news is that (s)he has learned not to pretend to know French, Greek or Latin.
