DeeJayEff
Hello. My name is Daniel, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am 23 years old and new to Ideas in general. My backround is in art and lettering. I was expelled from high school and attended community college for fine art but didn't find it helpful.. I grew up in a Christian conservative home, but I always liked to question everything lol. When I was younger my family would talk politics and I always seemed to think they would contradict themselves on a lot of they're beliefs. For example They would say you have a right to your property but then advocated income taxes etc.. It didn't sit right with me. In 2012 I stumbled upon some videos of the Federal reserve and started listening to Ron Paul and Austrian economics online.. I started to realize that there was a lot of problems with the US and it seemed to me most of the public was unaware of these truths. Knowing this in encouraged me to learn as much as I can to be able to defend free markets and mans rights. I purchased many books and audiobooks to listen to at work. I saw all the Ayn Rand interviews on youtube and thought this philosophy was proper and I am interested in learning more. I have read Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, Virtue of Selfishness, Philosophy who needs it, Anthem, And I am currently starting Introduction to the objectivist epistemology. Thanks.
