That's only one word.

Damn!

Brant, you are one funny dude.

You have no idea how much I enjoy your sharp, clear and succinct retorts.

Sure I do because I enjoy them exactly the same way and you owned up to it.

"Nathan! Nathan!" (to correct my own earlier one-worder)

I think you mean, "Jesus H. Christ!"

But not her style.

The "H" is silent

Atlas Head wrote Ayn Rand’s last words as: "It is not I who will die, but the world that shall perish"

I remember a Sci-fi book that I have mentioned before, where people could download “themselves. Their “essences,” thoughts, and personalities are still able to function within the confines of an advanced computer. The “electronic person” can interact with other electronic people or flesh and blood people if they stop to listen. It can continue to study and learn. A question to wonder about is when should I download myself? Just before death or when I am in my prime? Should I talk to my electronic self? Test myself with questions to see if that is really me? It works both ways of course. The "computer you" can talk and question the "flesh and blood you." Both of “you” consider yourselves a legitimate person. The computer had nearly infallible power sources and its gigantic program existed in multiple locations for safety.

I will not die, and the world shall not perish. I wish I could remember who wrote it. I think it came out in the 1970’s. Peter
