A private citizen does not have subpoena powers.Ba'al ChatzafActually, you do...subpoenas duces tecum, or, testificatum. As a pro se in a civil action you can issue subpoenas. You can also submit them to the assigned judge to be issued as "so ordered" Judicial subpoenas wherein you explain with a Motion and supporting affidavit why you need the "information, or, documents, or why you need the testimony of a particular person. As long as you do your due diligence, are clear and cogent, you will get them signed. Or, the other side will move to "quash" your subpoena which can trigger a hearing where you can really expose the other side.Adam
