So many do not appear to understand that there is well-thought out, determined process at work out there, to completely change the character of American Freedom and individual rights. It is an age old process that for so many reasons has picked up steam again, but moving with the stealth and determination of a grizzly on the prowl. Moving at a pace reserved for cooking live lobsters, but can so easily quicken. But do not underestimate the resources of those who would destroy the Jeffersonian beacon.You have to make sure you cover all the angles, wrinkles and possibilities.

I take it you are a sincere reader and student of Objectivism and Ayn Rand. You are then not like any random sample in the population. One may belong to a particular group , or be of a certain part on the political spectrum, but by Objectivist Principles and understanding, one is expected to be an individual, not a tribal member of a tribe, or collectivist ( using Rand’s terminology). And this was no accident. If you examine the little we know of his early life, you can see where this came from . I just wish more modern Christian would REALLY follow his example. Especially those in "leadership" positions in our societies. The areas in psychology, physics etc. that she did not include because it just was not known at the time or she did not include for whatever reasons, then it is our job as the next generations of such thinkers, to fill-in those voids.

Ms. Branden: I think the key to this "anger" thing, and to so much in our societies, is "socialization". Psycho-emotional socialization. This is a concept Ms. Rand was not fully aware of or appreciative of. I put this down to the times she lived. In fact, my experience informs that many intellectuals tend to downplay this aspect of learning, albeit social learning. They approach some problems as a problem of the intellect when these are more often problem of socialization. There is much we human learn through socialization. Its processes are so subtle and it sets the stage for so much. It is so interesting peeling of its layers and understanding its processes. Let me bring it home with an example. Take the Edwardian British for example, or how they have been portrayed in literature, movies, plays etc. The decorum with which they handle conflict, ideas etc. amongst themselves was all learnt through socialization. What is this all about? A Word of wisdom... such negative, destructive attitudes do not make for a healthy socio-cultural, socio-emotional human environment. The products of such negative environments are exceedingly problematic. A word of wisdom. The numbers to our populations may seem tremendous, but we all contribute to the future we shape for ourselves. We each do what is right and the statistics add up. A law of Karma based strickly on statistics. The more likely it will be that someone will be considerate of you. And also the views you have a right to. Being truly civilized does not lie in material objects, hi tech etc., but in the quality of how we relate to each other as human beings. A word of wisdom... a word to the wise.
