Michael Stuart Kelly
Merlin,I believe we should look at all sides of any issue, including Beck, but do you really want to start a thread about a left-wing hack's opinion of Beck's career?Good luck. Here is the author's site: Alexander Zaitchik. If you go there, you also might want to read about the glorious character and profession of Van Jones, how environmentalism is going to save the world, why greedy logging is killing off Peruvian Indians, and so forth.I think it is pretty obvious the left doesn't like Beck.Do you honestly think this will be an objective work?I don't.It might be useful, though, in uncovering unsavory facts that Beck and his people do not mention about themselves. But I will take anything from a source like that with a salt mine, not just a grain of salt.Michael
Dennis Hardin
While we're on the subject of Book TV, this show featuring a new book (The Post-American Presidency) by Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer might be worth a look. Geller has a website called AtlasShrugs.com, and has obviously been strongly influenced by Objectivism and Ayn Rand. The program airs today at 10 pm (ET) and again Monday at 6 am (ET).
