Jews get out of Israel!

As reported on Breitbart, Helen Thomas actually said: "Get the hell out of Palestine!"

Here's the video and a photo-op with Obama I caught on Drudge.

Applying "Helen Logic" to our nation: Anglos, white guys, Westerners, get out of America. You are living on occupied land stolen from The Original People. Go back to your homes in Europe, Asia and Anywhere But Here.

I love this. American Jews who voted for Obama are getting their neurons re-assembled. Obama will not be re-nominated much less re-elected. The question is whether he will even be President by Labor Day 2011.

When I see Helen Thomas filmed that close up saying what she did, I can't get the image of "Drooling Beast" out of my mind.

Listen, what's the most horrible experience you can imagine? To me--it's being left, unarmed, in a sealed cell with a drooling beast of prey or a maniac who's had some disease that's eaten his brain out. You'd have nothing then but your voice--your voice and your thought. You'd scream to that creature why it should not touch you, you'd have the most eloquent words, the unanswerable words, you'd become the vessel of the absolute truth. And you'd see living eyes watching you and you'd know that the thing can't hear you, that it can't be reached, not reached, not in any way, yet it's breathing and moving there before you with a purpose of its own.

Yup.

In that clip, Helen Thomas fits that description to a tee.

Bob,

That would have been a perfect follow-up question for Helen!

Right up there with asking if Thomas denies the Holocaust or if she has any idea about the fact that most countries weren't accepting displaced Jews after WW2.

Looks like Helen Thomas wants to keep her gig instead of being disgraced into retirement:

White House press icon Helen Thomas, 89, apologizes for saying Jews should 'get out of Palestine'

By Leo Standora

New York Daily News

June 5th 2010

From the article:

Thomas posted a lukewarm apology on her personal Web site.

"I deeply regret my comments I made last week regarding the Israelis and the Palestinians. They do not reflect my heartfelt belief that peace will come to the Middle East only when all parties recognize the need for mutual respect and tolerance. May that day come soon," she wrote.

Well, I guess that makes it all better, huh?

She's always been decrepit, and annoying, and one-dimensional. It is common in show business; often, entertainers get away with it for years. That the world of television, and, for that matter, journalism in general has allowed her to exist at all reeks of ill portent.

I wouldn't wish for even my worst enemy to sink his torpedo into that nasty, stinking maw. For one thing, you'd have to wait around until all the bats, bugs, and spiders cleared out befpre attempting to get down to your disgusting, smelly business.

She should be buried upward-facing, with her legs splayed out akimbo--that way, there will be an additional place for parking bicycles during cemetery visits.

Can you imagine that any reporter would keep his job or escape a public lynching if he suggested that America belongs to the white man and that blacks should get the hell out of America and go home to Africa?

It's interesting that Obama publicly excoriates Rush Limbaugh and Fox News and the cop who arrested his professor friend - but has nothng to say when Helen Thomas wishes a second Holocaust upon the Jews. But "interesting" is not the right word. "Disgusting" is slightly more appropriate.

Barbara,

I doubt Obama will say anything, but here is something to show that there is still sanity in America:

Thomas gets dropped by agency

June 06, 2010

Politico

Nine Speakers, the agency that represents Helen Thomas, has dropped her as a client. This comes in the wake of controversial remarks on the Middle East.

The notice, obtained by POLITICO:

It is with a heavy heart that Nine Speakers, Inc. announces its resignation as the agent for Helen Thomas, Dean of the White House Press Corps.

Ms. Thomas has had an esteemed career as a journalist, and she has been a trailblazer for women, helping others in her profession, and beyond.

However, in light of recent events, Nine Speakers is no longer able to represent Ms. Thomas, nor can we condone her comments on the Middle East.

Nine Speakers will continue to enthusiastically represent all of our other current and future clients.

I don't see how she is going to keep her place at the White House, or at Hearst for that matter.

And good riddance when it happens...

It is just bad form, if you contemplate it, Barbara.

You know (paraphrasing NB): most problems in the world can be solved, in advance, by using good manners.

I remember he said something to that effect when he lectured at the Learning Annex in Toronto.

But, of course, the problem is deeper. Obama is a puppet. I remember during the GWBII election; I sent NB an email asking him who he thought he would vote for. He said it was a painful decision (even then). In my mind, the problem lies larger. Meaning, the reckless activities of the global elite. It is far too late now, in my mind, to be positioned to do anything meaningful about the general collapse, including the Fed. Now, my days are about checking the Gulf and seeing where the oil spill is (currently, as stated, it remains up on the Northern Panhandle of Florida, but we do believe it will run south and then eventually wrap around the coast). BP acts shameless and you can do the math (since, for instance, they ended up purchasing Standard Oil, which then you can trace to the Rockefellers). Overall, the situation is very dire. To further qualify my statement, all I am willing to say is that was just one of many dirty backroom deals. Old Boy politics remain, for some reason; they remain but only modify themselves as needed.

I also do believe that even, at the least just speaking "pragmatically" Obama's credentials (which are highly questionable), his history, do not really matter in the end run.

It was a matter of picking which style of a-hole we would have. However, I do not like the socialistic approach, which, I believe, is only the tip of the iceberg, and is like spitting at the ocean.

Seriously: when (if ever) was the last time one can honestly say we have had a true leader out of the executive body? It is a sorry situation for me to just count sheckles and know the most money I ever made was under Bill. Don't get me started about Nixon. It has been a very long time, and I do not see any promising future for any leader to emerge that is based in the basic tenets from which this country was grown.

Best Regards,

Helen Thomas retires

June 07, 2010

Politico

From the article:

"Helen Thomas announced Monday that she is retiring, effective immediately," read a statement from Hearst Newspapers on Monday. "Her decision came after her controversial comments about Israel and the Palestinians were captured on videotape and widely disseminated on the Internet."

. . .

The decision to retire came as Thomas faced rebuke from nearly every corner after video of her remarks during an interview with RabbiLive.com's Rabbi David Nesenoff emerged online late last week.

"Those remarks were offensive and reprehensible," Gibbs said during the Monday briefing, adding that Thomas's remarks "do not reflect certainly most of the people here and certainly not those of the administration."

. . .

Over the weekend, Thomas' agency dropped her as a client and a high school that had asked Thomas to speak at its commencement ceremony revoked the invitation. Such political bigwigs as Dana Perino, Ari Fleischer, Rep. Rick Lazio, Lanny Davis and Joe Lockhart denounced Thomas' remarks, as did many Jewish organizations.

Good.

She deserved that and so did we.

Just one comment.

Did anyone notice that the Obama people started throwing her under the bus without any hesitation whatsoever?

Let's start here:

<object id="flashObj" width="486" height="412" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,47,0"><param name="movie" value="http://c.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f9/19407224001?isVid=1" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#FFFFFF" /><param name="flashVars" value="videoId=90405445001&playerID=19407224001&domain=embed&dynamicStreaming=true" /><param name="base" value="http://admin.brightcove.com" /><param name="seamlesstabbing" value="false" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="swLiveConnect" value="true" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><embed src="http://c.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f9/19407224001?isVid=1" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" flashVars="videoId=90405445001&playerID=19407224001&domain=embed&dynamicStreaming=true" base="http://admin.brightcove.com" name="flashObj" width="486" height="412" seamlesstabbing="false" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" swLiveConnect="true" allowScriptAccess="always" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"></embed></object>

From their perspective, her long career supporting their causes should give her a chance to make amends. But I think she is going to see just what the nature is of the people she supports.

I suspect what the progressives are going to do to her will be far worse than any criticism she will get from the right.

It's really strange and disappointing that she couldn't see that Israel is a pluralistic society with Arabs constituting 20% of their population. Also, Israel is composed of Jews of all manner of political persuasion. I'm sure she could have found many in Israel that would have opposed the war in Lebanon and the current blockade of Gaza. However, the nasty, spiteful and racially charged words from someone who is a high level journalist and should know better is sickening.
