Adventure in the Outback

Recommended Posts

An anthropologist/paleontologist went into the Outback to search for clues about the origins of the Australian aboriginal people. When he was out searching he fell into a ravine and injured his leg badly. He was found by aboriginal tribes people and brought to their shaman for treatment. The shaman tried setting the leg but it festered. In a desperate act of mercy the shaman then trapped a Koala bear and made a brew out of its feces and hair to give to the stricken explorer. It seemed to work very well. After the explorer felt better he thanked the Shaman for his act of mercy and care, but he said: Wouldn't it be better if you strained the hair out of that tea you brew for me? It went down rather hard. The Shaman then explained to the explorer that this was not possible. Why not? asked the explorer. The Shaman said: It is well known that the Koala tea of mercy is not strained.
