Demon Sheep Ad Man Strikes Again, Morphs Boxer Into A Blimp (VIDEO) First Posted: 03-13-10 03:45 PM | Updated: 03-13-10 07:07 PM digg There are no demon sheep in this advertisement; nor derisive comparisons of Barack Obama to Paris Hilton. But the quirky political ad man who produced those two cult classics has introduced another memorable spot. This one, an eight-minute opus casting Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Cali.) as some sort of self-obsessed, Orwellian, hot air-balloon creature, floating maliciously through the skies of California. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/13/demon-sheep-ad-man-strike_n_497933.html?view=printI think that Boxer is very vulnerable, but I am not sure Carly is the right opponent.I am changing my mind quickly though.Adam
Robert Campbell
Adam,I suspect Carly Fiorina is vulnerable herself, because her tenure as CEO of Hewlett-Packard ended so badly. And the Demon Sheep commercial was weird, weird, weird.Robert Campbell

This is the same gentleman, as you probably know. I am always interested in these "cutting edge" uses of the media. Additionally, the no vote turns out. This is not a movie, this is a battle for one one hundredth of the Senatorial power.I agree that Fiorina is vulnerable. Additionally, I find her current iteration extremely discordant. The short hair does not work visually for me.The Hewlett-Packard "period" is being spun as she transformed the company and "leaned it" towards profitability.I would like to see their internal numbers to evaluate this seven (7) minute video. Good points Robert.Adam

9thdoctor
Ugh, I hate it when candidates talk about how they’ll get things done. I want them to get things undone. But I guess that would still be a kind of doing.Remember Fiorina said something during the McCain campaign about Viagra vs. birth control, that caused him much embarrassment: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>It gave the late night comics some easy material. She ended up being ousted from her role (or minimized) for showing too many symptoms of foot-and-mouth disease. Has it gone into remission? Robert Campbell
Roughly half the commercial features the phantasmagoric Boxer-blimp.That part's brilliant. The pitch for Fiorina is, ennh, more of the usual. And I agree with Adam that Carly Fiorina shouldn't be trying to look like a dour feminist professor or a UU minister.Robert Campbell
