Embedding youtube videos into posts

Recommended Posts

How do I do it? I've even tried cutting and pasting successfully embedded videos from other posts (via replying), and that fails to reproduce embedded videos in my posts. Aaaghh!

Christopher,

Use "full editor" to make the post.

Paste the YouTube (or other video site) embed code in the post.

Then...

Scroll down to "Options"

Click on "Click to configure post options"

Open "Post Options" dropdown menu

From the dropdown, choose "HTML On - Auto Linebreak Mode"

That does it. Click "Add Reply."

Christopher, don't know if it's my browser or not, but your post at 12:52 AM came out extremely unjustified (in the typographical sense, not the legal or theological senses :))

Try simply inserting the video URL inside the media commands

Or use the "insert media" button (last one on the row that starts with B for bolding), which will bring a little popup button in which you can paste the video URL and then click appropriately to insert in your post.
