kiaer.ts Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 I would strongly recommend a visit to the Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford PA, just south of Philly. The area is quite scenic. You can make a wonderful day of it by visiting that museum and the the grounds of Longwood Gardens, one of the country's best botanical gardens, just down the road. End the day with dinner at the elegant Simon Pearce on the Brandywine restaurant. Make reservations. Any time of the year is nice, but early fall when the leaves change is the best.
