Under the Same Moon

My girlfriend and I saw a great flick the other day called La Misma Luna (Under the Same Moon). Its the story of a little Mexican boy who, after his grandmother dies, decides to travel north to be with his mother living illegally in the U.S.

This was a good film that discusses not only why many Mexicans choose to travel and live illegally in the U.S. but also is a celebration of the human spirit.

While I didn't cry, my girlfriend did so expect that it maybe a tear-jerker. Its also a well-made film with good acting and occasional humor thrown in.

Definitely worth the ticket price to see in theaters.
