Thanks, nice little insight on Rand's writing atmosphere. I will use this in my public presentations that I am giving on Rand and Atlas's 50th in the Spring.

Totally off point, but if any of you folks have not seen the movie "Strings" in which the actors/actresses are pupperts, you are missing a fine film.

A friend sent me a link to this article mentioning Rand writing "The Fountainhead" and Frank acting in summer stock.

In the first few months after she moved west in the 40s, Rand lived next door to The Ravenswood, an apartment building famous as the home of Mae West. I don't know if West lived there at the time.
