Kori, I hope this is what you were asking for a while ago and that is these types of healthy snack foods. I know you said you can't cook that well but this recipe should be pretty easy to make for you.

Seasoned Snack Mix

3 cups Rice Chex

3 cups Corn Chex

3 cups Cheerios

3 cups pretzels

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons butter flavored sprinkles

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

In a 15 by 10 by 1 inch baking pan, combine cereals and pretzels. Lightly coat with nonstick cooking spray; drizzle with Worcestershire sauce. Combine the remaining ingredients and sprinkle over cereal mixture. Bake at 200 for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container. Yields 3 quarts.

Nutrition: 1 cup equals 115 calories, 1 g fat (trace unsaturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 400 mg sodium, 25 g carbs, 1 g fiber, 3 g protein.

Berries with Honey Sour Cream Sauce

1 quart fresh strawberries, halved

1 pint fresh raspberries

1 pint fresh blueberries

1 pint fresh blackberries

2 cups (16 ounces) reduced-fat sour cream

1/4 cup honey

Of course, if you don't want the specific fruit mentioned, substitute whatever you would like, watermelon, cantaloupe, oranges, etc.

In a large bowl, combine the first four ingredients. In another bowl, combine the sour cream and honey. Serve with berries. Yield: 10 servings.

Nutrition: 3/4 cup fruit with 3 tablespoons sauce equals 147 calories, 4 g fat (3 g saturated fat), 15 mg cholesterol, 32 mg sodium, 25 g carbohydrate, 6 g fiber, 4 g protein.

Okay, girlie girl, these snack recipes should hold you over for a bit. When I get more time, I'll post some more.

Spiced Honey Pretzels

4 cups thin pretzel sticks

3 tablespoons honey

2 teaspoons butter or stick margarine, melted

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon chili powder

Line a 15 by 10 by 1-in. baking pan with foil; coat the foil with nonstick cooking spray. Place pretzels in a large bowl. In a small bowl, combine the honey, butter, onion powder and chili powder. Pour over pretzels; toss to coat evenly. Spread into prepared pan. Bake at 350° for 8 minutes, stirring once. Cool on a wire rack, stirring gently several times to separate. Yield: 8 servings.

Nutrition: One serving (1/2 cup) equals 98 calories, 1 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 3 mg cholesterol, 487 mg sodium, 20 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 2 g protein.

Zippy Tortilla Chips

1/2 teaspoon brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

4 corn tortillas (6 inches)

In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Stack the tortillas; cut into six wedges. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray. Spritz the wedges with nonstick cooking spray; sprinkle with seasoning mixture. Bake at 375° for 9-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 5 minutes. Yield: 2 servings.

Nutrition: 12 chips equals 124 calories, 1 g fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 85 mg sodium, 26 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 3 g protein.
