I know you said you can't cook that well but this recipe should be pretty easy to make for you.Seasoned Snack Mix3 cups Rice Chex3 cups Corn Chex3 cups Cheerios3 cups pretzels2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce2 teaspoons butter flavored sprinkles1/2 teaspoon garlic powder1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt1/2 teaspoon onion powderIn a 15 by 10 by 1 inch baking pan, combine cereals and pretzels. Lightly coat with nonstick cooking spray; drizzle with Worcestershire sauce. Combine the remaining ingredients and sprinkle over cereal mixture. Bake at 200 for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container. Yields 3 quarts.Nutrition: 1 cup equals 115 calories, 1 g fat (trace unsaturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 400 mg sodium, 25 g carbs, 1 g fiber, 3 g protein. CNA Posted March 31, 2007 Author Share Posted March 31, 2007 (edited) Berries with Honey Sour Cream Sauce 1 quart fresh strawberries, halved1 pint fresh raspberries1 pint fresh blueberries1 pint fresh blackberries2 cups (16 ounces) reduced-fat sour cream1/4 cup honeyOf course, if you don't want the specific fruit mentioned, substitute whatever you would like, watermelon, cantaloupe, oranges, etc. In a large bowl, combine the first four ingredients. In another bowl, combine the sour cream and honey. Serve with berries. Yield: 10 servings. Nutrition: 3/4 cup fruit with 3 tablespoons sauce equals 147 calories, 4 g fat (3 g saturated fat), 15 mg cholesterol, 32 mg sodium, 25 g carbohydrate, 6 g fiber, 4 g protein. Spiced Honey Pretzels 4 cups thin pretzel sticks3 tablespoons honey2 teaspoons butter or stick margarine, melted1 teaspoon onion powder1 teaspoon chili powderLine a 15 by 10 by 1-in. baking pan with foil; coat the foil with nonstick cooking spray. Place pretzels in a large bowl. In a small bowl, combine the honey, butter, onion powder and chili powder. Pour over pretzels; toss to coat evenly. Spread into prepared pan. Bake at 350° for 8 minutes, stirring once. Cool on a wire rack, stirring gently several times to separate. Yield: 8 servings. Nutrition: One serving (1/2 cup) equals 98 calories, 1 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 3 mg cholesterol, 487 mg sodium, 20 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 2 g protein. Zippy Tortilla Chips 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar1/4 teaspoon garlic powder1/4 teaspoon onion powder1/4 teaspoon ground cumin1/4 teaspoon paprika1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper4 corn tortillas (6 inches)In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Stack the tortillas; cut into six wedges. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray. Spritz the wedges with nonstick cooking spray; sprinkle with seasoning mixture. Bake at 375° for 9-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 5 minutes. Yield: 2 servings. Nutrition: 12 chips equals 124 calories, 1 g fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 85 mg sodium, 26 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 3 g protein.
