Surprised no one else has commented on this so far.~ What a melancholy (tragic?) fairy-tale. Definitely unique in its fantasy-basis (?) paralleling (or, unclearly metaphorizing) its 'real-time' event of fascist Spain fighting the 'resistance' during the week of D-Day. Wonder how Bettleheim would have analyzed it?~ Worth seeing, sad the ending be (or...seems); but, for me: only this once.LLAPJ:DPS: That actor playing 'the Captain': impressive.
