What's more, the CNN people think Cohen's appearances on CNN will not hurt Trump. Cohen was pretty dumb in responding to Chris Cuomo's coaching.

Just listen to how clueless he is.

And how scripted Chris Cuomo is in terms of fooling and manipulating the audience.

In one respect, CNN is the news equivalent of professional wrestling: rigging the outcome.

But it screws up the story. CNN is losing audience because it only rigs the matches in one direction. There is no uncertainty or surprise to hold the audience in suspense. If the issue itself is lacking suspense, CNN has no way to provide it since their anchors are about as dumb as Cohen.

Cuomo in particular is dumb in the same meathead mafia muscle way Cohen is. When Cuomo goes off script, he shows he's a thug--as has happened several times when he's threatened people in the street in spontaneous interactions.

I think he is about as political and liberal as Obama. There would just be a gradual leftist slant to ruling class power structures. He will be 78 if he is inaugurated and I don’t think he is very competent, though not incompetent, mentally. If he does become incapacitated Kamala Lala will become President and she is much more “California radical,” perhaps as much as Bernie Sanders. I think the American economy will decline and our standing and power out in the real world will lessen especially if she reigns.

Rasmussen. Friday, September 11, 2020. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) disapprove. The latest figures include 38% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 45% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -7.

From Real Clear Politics. USA Today / Suffolk Trump + 4.  Rasmussen Trump +4.  Emerson Trump +2.  All the other polls show Biden leading.

As I have mentioned before, HA Goodman has been announcing for quite some time that HIllary Clinton will definitely be facing President Trump on November 3. I think HA is speculating far beyond any evidence, but it shall be interesting to monitor his account in late October.

Just to be clear, HA Goodman is not the source of my speculations. I am aware he preaches about HC as if it were fact. I use a different form of reasoning, so my arguments and speculations are not really aligned with his. Also, I rarely watch his videos.

I am glad he is out in the culture, though. And he seems like a nice enough guy. We need as many voices saying as many different things as possible.

The elitist ruling class is waging war against freedom of speech.

Some suggests for a Bug Out Bag. Remember, you may need to carry this so limit the weight.

Water / It should go without saying that water is a survival basic for any situation. In a survival situation water quickly becomes the most precious commodity.

Your medicines.

Food.

Clothing Your Bug Out Bag clothes should be similar to what you would pack for a weekend backpacking trip. A pair of sturdy boots or shoes. A pair of long pants (preferably not blue jeans) 2 Pairs of socks (preferably not cotton) 2 Shirts (Maybe 1 long sleeve and 1 short sleeve for layering) A Jacket that is both warm and protection from rain. Warm long underwear of some kind. A hat. A Bandana. This list could go on for a while and many people would never dream of leaving their Bug Out Bag without twice that much, but in a pinch that set up could get you by for 3 days. Be sure to plan for the weather in your area.

Some type of Bedroll, preferably a good sleeping bag.

First Aid Kit Rain Gear – at least 2 ways to stay dry in the rain. Poncho and Coat are good coupled with your Tent/Shelter.

Light – At least 2 dependable flashlights and a backup set of batteries for each.

Survival Knife – Weapons The fact of the matter is you are might be dealing with a “Without Rule of Law” situation, or close to it, and people are likely to do crazy things. Being prepared to defend yourself is part of the survivalist mindset. Obviously a firearm of some sort is best for this. Take what is comfortable to you.

Beware COVID-19 Vaccine Politics

Last week, President Trump made an optimistic claim... "We could have a vaccine soon, maybe even before a special day. You know what day I'm talking about."

The possibility of a COVID-19 breakthrough should be positive news to all Americans. But some are terrified for what it will mean for the national election, now less than two months away.

Never in living memory has an emerging medical breakthrough been poised to play such a critical role in who will stay – or become – the leader of the free world.

For the American people, of course, the vaccine can't come soon enough...

 

We've been living through the slow-moving nightmare of COVID-19 lockdowns for more than seven months now.

Despite mask mandates, stay-at-home orders, and a slew of other onerous regulations meant to slow the spread of the disease, the U.S. has had more than 6 million documented cases of COVID-19. That's considered a small fraction – perhaps only 10% – of all actual cases, as estimated millions more were never officially diagnosed. The government wasn't able to prevent the virus's spread, but now it has a chance to end it. The vaccine's time line is now the biggest question, with the most political implications.

As a general matter, everyone wants a vaccine to cure the coronavirus scourge. But how soon? And who will get credit for it? The politics around this tremendous scientific achievement are starting to drown out the unity and optimism that should define a cure for a disease that has killed close to 200,000 Americans, according to official numbers.

The reason is clear: A COVID-19 vaccine could be a major game changer for the election.

If President Trump is able to point to the success of "Operation Warp Speed" in delivering a lifesaving vaccine in record time before voters go into the polling booths, he will be in a stronger position to win re-election. Democrats are aware of this, as are the anti-Trump partisans in the liberal media. That's leading to a bizarre surge of what sounds distressingly close to "anti-vax" rhetoric from the Left.

For example, take Senator Bernie Sanders on CNN. He won't say that a vaccine won't be safe... but he does want everyone in America to think that Trump is willing to push through an unsafe vaccine. As he said last week:

"Look, I think you've got a president who's losing it... everyone wants a vaccine, but we want to make sure that vaccine is safe. We don't want to see that vaccine put on the market for political reasons."

For comrade Sanders to suggest President Trump would ram through an unsafe vaccine is reckless but entirely unsurprising. The Democrats know they cannot allow him to have this political win. In a very tight election, the vaccine's readiness – or its definitive approval – before November 3 could tip the balance. That's why there is a narrative battle underway right now to make sure that voters don't credit Trump with any COVID-19 successes.

We should also expect the media to run a subtle propaganda campaign on the vaccine, always leaving room to say that they're just "asking questions."

They will appeal to the substantial "anti-vax" sentiments that are widespread within the U.S population, stopping just short of outright support for conspiracy theories.

Here's what you should expect...

First, Democrat politicians will say that they are deeply supportive of science and think vaccines are wonderful innovations – but with Trump in charge, who knows? Maybe Putin interfered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") approval process on behalf of the president.

Editorials in major newspapers and magazines will play a large role, as journalists and public intellectuals make their case for why vaccines are usually great – but do you really trust a vaccine that the Trump presidency oversaw? Unsubstantiated whispers will have the intended effect.

The free-for-all rabble-rousers of social media will amplify those whispers into screaming matches. Does Ivanka own stock in a pharmaceutical company involved? Maybe the FDA approved it, but can you really trust the head of the FDA since he's donated to Republicans?

Major newspapers and flagship cable news shows will take their turn discrediting Operation Warp Speed – covering every alleged negative reaction to the vaccine like a national crisis.

And if and when one of the vaccines (there will be several soon) has proven safe and effective, then questions about whether Vice President Pence's task force has done enough to help states safely deploy it will dominate the headlines. And so on, and so on...

The media's undermining of the vaccine is a foregone conclusion. Expect it to last precisely until November 3. Then – depending on the outcome of the election – expect a quick turnaround... the sun is shining again, and FDA-approved vaccines are certainly safe.

All just in time for the onset of a Biden presidency, for which there will unfortunately never be a vaccine.

That is a lie. The military police were on alert last Wednesday because they may have been needed to quell rioting in Minneapolis. From the New York Post: Aug 27, 2020 · Minneapolis police released surveillance video of a murder suspect committing suicide Wednesday - to dispel widespread rumors that cops killed the man.

And there is some alertness due to Iran’s words and actions. That is all. Joe is not planning an insurrection. Obviously someone is trying to GIN UP some kind of chatter and inflammatory talk from the left and the right.

Keep looking. You already know fake news exists, but the reality is much deeper and darker. Keep looking and noticing. It will sink in down on the lizard brain level where you want and believe today's institutions function like they are supposed to, that is, to give you correct and useful information, make a safe environment, keep the peace, etc.

Then, on that level, the lizard brain level, imagine those institutions being corrupted beyond belief. Not the institutions per se, but the people running them.

Then think about fake news. If it is starting to sound like mainstream communications institutions do not have any good intentions toward you, meaning you in particular, you Peter, that's because they do not. The people running them these days couldn't give a rat's ass if you get sick or die or do nothing. Just stay out of their narrative.

You are a tiny tool for them and nothing more. Eyeballs and ears that can be persuaded or not. They would just as soon damage you or discard you or ignore you as they would inform you of something cool. In fact, informing you of something correct is the last thing they want to do. They still do some to put on a mask. But if the moment ever comes where they can stop informing people correctly altogether, they will.

I saw that Walmart is going to emulate Amazon with hyped online shopping but you still need to go to a side door at Walmart to pick up your goods. We used “Instacart” for groceries again and in spite of the usual “replacements” or out of stock postings we got most of what we ordered and it is left at the back door.
