Look at the results with this COVID-19.

I was thinking, what is the worst that can happen? What if the internet goes down, TV stations stop broadcasting, and hospitals cannot accommodate more patients? Remember the movie, "On The Beach?" People were communicating by short wave radio . . . and then it stopped . . . except for "someone" using a mixed up Morse Code? Brrrr. Or we could all be better in 6 weeks, thanks to the magical cure, vitamin D.

Ellen,

Many of the globalists are pretty stupid. The younger ones inherited their position instead of earning it. Their conceit keeps them stupid.

And even among those who earn their position, look at people like Mike Bloomberg. He does one thing well and it generated a fortune for him. As for the rest, he's pretty dumb.

Here's just one example: Giuliani instituted a policy of stop, question and frisk to cut down on runaway crime. Since he did it in a targeted manner, he ended up doing it to about 70 or 80 thousand people and there were few complaints. Crime went down. When Bloomberg became mayor, he ramped that up to about 600,000 people, mostly black. After all, if a little is good, a whole lot is better, right? And it's true that crime stayed down. But it was no longer called stop, question and frisk. Instead everybody called it stop and frisk. And he pissed off just about everyone in NYC, even those who were not being stopped and frisked.

That's the mark of someone who is stupid.

Hell, even during the primaries, other Dems called him out on this. They didn't call out Giuliani--a Republican and the guy who started it. They called out Bloomberg.

You have to be really stupid to get that result from Dems.

I think many globalists, the stupid ones, understood their Wuhan virus social manipulation project in a similar manner. They didn't (and don't) know what they were doing but they were doing it to a massive number of people. So it is now boomeranging on them.

So many people have lost so much money, opportunities, things, meetings, sports, and so on in their lives over this hoax, when they find out it was a hoax (a massive social manipulation project based essentially on a flu less toxic than the standard ones that appear each year), and find out they will because this thing will end, with a whimper, they are going to be livid. And if, here in the US, they blame the Democrats for this, I believe the Dems are going to take a hit so hard, they might go the way of the Whigs.

After all, current Democrats are believers until you mess up their unearned money. Then they will turn on you like a pissed-off hurricane. :)

So. ??? Are you saying you agree with the news, that the coronavirus is worse than the flu? I think it is. Humans have NOT built up any immunities to it, as we have with the "common flu."  Tell us your thoughts. I am bit fluxoxed by conspiracy theorists and the people who believed them . . . . without rational thought or even listening to the latest news.

Much worse than the flu.  The death rate is prodigious, rivaling, some places exceeding the 1918 horror flu.

Look at the figures - which are well sourced in the country-by-country breakdown on the Worldometers site.

In Italy, the worst, the death rate is running 1 in 17 cases.

Many countries in Europe are closing their borders.  The overall toll in Europe is becoming worse than what was reported from China at the start.  (The China reports could be underreported.)

Thank you Ellen. You are right. I coughed once when I went into a store today and EVERYONE avoided me after that. I get pollen allergies. The news is troubling. I thought about buying in "more bulk" but I decided to wait for one more day. Fox shows which are reshowing shows from a couple of hours ago that are pessimistic.  Distilled water. Disinfectant wipes. Peanut butter. Saltines, because they last for a year or more.  And tp of course. Maybe frozen dinners?

They could conceivably hope to gain by it, and decide to do it, they get to prepare for it whereas the other side gets surprised.

Also, they’re cornered and about to be destroyed. They have nothing else to play. It is way too mucky when there’s the option of going home, but they’re going to GTMO so they had to play what they can, do what they can, hope it forces focus away from the kill, at least delays it.

Interesting that pathopatentvacc Billy Gates announced Microsoft and Berkshire bye byes shortly after Trump’s thing today?

Eric Schmidt also stepped down from Google on the day Trump declared Human Trafficking National Emergency and seized dozens of certain trafficker’s assets worldwide.

It does muck them up. Thus the temptation on the Patriot side to co-opt it, as quickly as possible, amplify it to the heavens, and then round them up during this once-in-a-lifetime chance to use a cover that is so perfect it allows the team to do anything, anything it wants, while all of us sit tight, in country after country, in fear, but in fear of something else entirely, something not really very dangerous but something we all can easily be made to think is very dangerous, something that keeps us determined to stay indoors, for weeks.

I also think there may be no pathogen at all, but just very sophisticated Patriot-created fake news they will easily apologize for later if indeed Trump and Q team are saving the world, as the Q conspiracy theory goes.

Anything and everything the public will see during the mass arrest event, Trump can say;

”What? Oh gosh, no, those are quarantine centers, not detention centers. No one is missing, I’m sure they’re at home self-isolating. The only fighting going on is against the coronavirus.”

”What? Gunshots? Oh gosh, no, the gunshots all week are people fighting over liquor. We saw that over toilet paper weeks ago. Stay inside.”

”Because the people demanded we close the interstates, the governors asked me to, I have to unleash the full power of the federal government like I promised to in mid-March.”

”What? ... “

There will even be time to quickly primary all over again and feel good about who they choose to go against Trump.

Ellen,

For certain people. For most people, not so much. (See the high recovery rates that nobody ever mentions.)

By way of example, peanut butter is fine for most people. It kills others. Does that mean we have to shut down all events near peanut farms and promote a widescale panic?

I think it would be better to treat the COVID-19 according to its nature rather than fear-infused projections and propaganda.

Climate change is sold to the public based on fear-infused projections that exaggerate and omit, then exaggerate and omit, then exaggerate and omit, then constantly change what they said when what they exaggerated and omitted did't pan out, then exaggerate and omit about that, and so on. Running in parallel is the nonstop propaganda. With the Wuhan virus, I'm seeing the media run wild in the same manner.

No sense in arguing right now, though. Nobody is ever convinced to step back from their emotions during a panic and anything anyone says in public gets distorted.

The real situation will have to emerge during case studies after the virus threat has dissipated. Until then, everyone will be an expert and use their certainties to clobber others who think differently over the head.

That's the way the climate change thing works. And that's what I'm seeing with the Wuhan virus.

btw - I like the way President Trump is handling this. He's using massive action based on clearly defined parameters with other clear standards in place for when to stop or keep going. Also, I just looked into Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, someone who is challenging the current mainstream narratives about the Wuhan virus and with whom I agree in many of the things I have just seen. I'm pleased to see he even likes what President Trump has done. :)

My next post will be about him.

The government TV response to the coronavirus today was informative. Trump looked a bit ill and someone (Ben Carson?) had what appeared to be a booger on their mustache. The tall blond lady's (CDC?) hair was a bit scruffy and she had a rubber band around it in the back. They said they were working 20 hour days and some had worked 24 hours straight. I didn't write the site down but soon there will be a govt site to answer questions with the best information available.

Now about Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai.

He's an MIT professor who studies immunology and more or less holds my view of the media propaganda about the coronavirus. (Meaning, it's a huge scam--not the virus, but the media hysteria.) I didn't know anything about Dr. Shiva before writing the post above other than seeing a passing reference to him in the mainstream. So I looked into him to see if he had something intelligent to say or if he was a kook. Man does he have intelligent things to say.

When I made the comparison above between the coronavirus panic and climate change propaganda, I forgot to mention one point. As a layman, when I see scientists disagreeing in nasty terms and hollering at each other, that's when I know something more than science is at stake, generally money and power--and scientific integrity (generally tilted to one side--the one getting the money and power). Well, Dr. Shiva is a scientist and the press is going after him in the name of other scientists similar to what they did to Dr. Richard Lindzen about climate change. That's what got my attention.

Here is what kicked off the current mainstream interest in Dr. Shiva. Three days ago, he made the following tweet:

That landed like a small bombshell among the establishment press, and they did their hooting and hollering about him being a wacko and so on. Then they buried everything. I don't know about later, for in today's context, try the search engines to find that tweet if you want to see what I mean. It's hard.

But then Rush Limbaugh picked Dr. Shiva's story up and talked about it. Kaboom. Now it's really out there. From Rush yesterday (March 13):

MIT Biologist Questions the Coronavirus Panic

Quote

RUSH: I want to tell you a little bit about Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai. He is a conservative.

He is at MIT. He ran in Massachusetts for the Senate. He ran against Fauxcahontas. He ran against Elizabeth Warren. He said he was the only real Indian in the race, and he was. He’s a smart guy, and, as a lot of smart guys are, he’s kind of on the edge. He can be a little nutty. But he’s not nutty on this. He has four degrees from MIT. “His undergraduate degree from MIT was in electrical engineering, computer science.

“He took a master’s degree in visual studies from the MIT Media Lab on scientific visualization, and concurrently he completed another master’s degree in mechanical engineering also from MIT. In 2007, he obtained a PhD in biological engineering from MIT in systems biology.” I’m mentioning all of this because I got a bunch of emails during the break. “Rush, you’re falling for it! This guy’s obviously a kook. He put a phony tweet out there and you’re falling for it!”

He’s not a kook, and he’s not phony. Look, I’m finding somebody other than myself that thinks there’s something really screwy about all this. I know the degree of hatred there is for Donald Trump that has not abated, and it permeates all sectors and areas of our country. It permeates business. It permeates professional sports. It permeates academia, as you know. It permeates all over Hollywood, and certainly the Democrat Party and the American left.

. . .

I just wanted to pass on to you this MIT biologist, Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, has tweeted that he doesn’t understand it, either. There wasn’t any panic, there wasn’t any shutdowns of anything, there wasn’t anything but praise for the president when 18,000 people died from the swine flu!

When 60 million were infected and 300,000 were hospitalized, there wasn’t one bit of criticism for the president. We didn’t shut a thing down. Now he’s come along, and he thinks that the media and the deep state — and that’s his term; he’s using it in his tweet — are doing the world a disservice by exaggerating the impact of the virus. He said it’s time to stop scaring people. This is fearmongering, that it’s causing more damage to our citizens in the health care system than this virus ever could.

He thinks it’s gonna go down as the biggest fraud to manipulate economies that has happened in our lifetimes and maybe longer, and potentially cause more damage to our citizens and our health care system.

Incidentally, the disservice Dr. Shiva mentions is a lot deeper and more nuanced than it sounds. In broad terms, he claims there are very bad habits in the culture (both at the institutional levels and at the personal level) that make people vulnerable to outbreaks like COVID-19 and when a huge panic is created, this drives people to reinforce these bad habits simply because that is what they know.

The edgy stuff Rush referred to is about Dr. Shiva's claim to have invented email. From what I've seen, that is a confusing topic of differing definitions and a whole lot of litigation involving top institutions. But it's irrelevant to Dr. Shiva's work on immunology.

Let's just say he's feisty and has no problem with fighting anyone. He does not take smears lying down. (I don't know enough about the email thing to comment, but I really resonate with his attitude. :)

To get an idea about this guy, here is his most recent video. I've watched it and it is brilliant, especially in the way he manages to explain complex scientific concepts to laypeople;

I learned more about immunology from this one video than I have learned my entire life--especially from the mainstream over the last month or so. (As I have a stepson on the autistic spectrum, many things in this video were a pleasant surprise. They echo a lot of what Kat and I have learned trying to deal with this, like the gut-brain connection and so on.)

As Dr. Shiva is interested in becoming a Senator, there is some emphasis on politics in this video. And he bashes institutional cronies in a manner worthy of Rand on a grumpy day. So the video is definitely not boring. :)

Dr. Shive discovered the formula for getting the big ideas of science out in a way nonspecialists can understand. He makes you want to understand. His form of communication reminds me of a system of presenting lists of boring facts in an interesting manner I learned recently (ABT by Randy Olson, see here) and Dr. Shive seems to be a master. But that's for a different discussion.

When all you see in the mainstream is hollering and fearmongering about a pandemic, this voice of reason is like an oasis in the desert. And, like I mentioned above, Dr. Shiva agrees that President Trump is handling this panic correctly.

Dr. Shiva is starting to be booked by mainstream people (Bill Mitchell, for example). I expect to see more of him in the mainstream, even as they hate him.

I, for one, will be looking for him.

Michael

Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai wrote, “As an MIT PhD in Biological Engineering who studies & does research nearly every day on the Immune System, the #coronavirus fear mongering by the Deep State will go down in history as one of the biggest fraud to manipulate economies, suppress dissent, & push MANDATED Medicine!””  end quote

A big conspiracy theory? Why would the Deep State want to muck up our economy and needlessly scare people? I think their lives will be adversely affected too. President Trump’s team shouldn’t be part of that supposed conspiracy . . . . to harm the President’s chances of reelection, so I believe their report today. The coronavirus is a big deal. Keep those schools closed and limit large crowds of people. Cancel sporting events, etc.

A bigger conspiracy theory? Squadrons of B-52’s and stealth bombers fly over America spraying liquid into the atmosphere like giant crop dusters. America gets well while the rest of the world coughs and wheezes. I wish. Peter

The thing is, what you just did is what most people do when consuming mainstream news and communications.

(And don't think the manipulators don't know this.)

They judge and express before they even know what the issue is. They shoot themselves in the eye all the time. As they stare down the barrel of a gun, they see something that looks like a trigger and they pull it because, well, triggers are for pulling.

Just curious Michael. I am not attempting to appear dumb or start an argument.  So what is the deep state doing and why? Our President has been tested, as you know if you watched his report today. This is a big deal, and I don’t believe “spin.” Is what appears below, from a few minutes ago, spin? Peter
