I’m not in California, either. Thank you for settling that you have no better response to the hypothetical, indeed you have no response to it at all. Again you demonstrate that you can neither think nor cogently express your thoughts, but can only make mindless critical comments and can never follow them up with anything. You have a vague concern for the safety of authorities performing their official function of rounding up people’s children, and nothing more.

Well why don’t you hypothetically come on up here and hypothetically speak like this to me in person and then hypothetically describe what happens to you when I hypothetically make you my bitch.  Is that cogent enough for you?

This is of course hypothetical because a keyboard warrior such as yourself would most likely be..polite.

Per Yahoo News .  . . According to the DHS document, along with the 11 active cases there are 23 members of the Secret Service who have recovered from COVID-19 and an additional 60 employees who are self-quarantining. No details have been provided about which members of the Secret Service are infected or if any have recently been on detail with the president or vice president . . . .

The Not So Secret Service? I still do not know anyone who has it, but the cases in my county are close to one hundred and in nearby Sussex County Delaware there are or were 2,834 cases and 79 deaths. Many of the dead worked in chicken packing plants.

Two days ago I was in the Walgreens near Fenwick Island in Sussex County Delaware to pick up a prescription and the clerks and I were all wearing masks and there were a few other customers wearing masks. It was “business as usual.” Imagine opening up the schools and one kid on a bus infects twenty others, who infect twenty others, who . . . . Peter

That's what's supposed to happen for the kids are invulnerable. After they get over being infectious they can hug grandma. Once 70 or 80 percent of the population gets it the virus has no place to go and goodbye virus. This is going to happen but flattening the curve means more elderly and such deaths spread out over a longer amount of time.

Brant you are like me, tired of listening to the fear factor.

"Take care of yourself" - that's all the advice this coronavirus merited.

Some cold hard figures? Say this thing tops out at 400, 000 deaths ww (presently 279K) unless my calculations are out, that's one death per five thousand people ww. (World pop. 8mill.)

Then there is the preexisting medical conditions, reportedly the cause of the majority of that 279K.

Then there's the human aftermath, the massive psychological and health effects on we the living, of people's morale we are already beginning to see, from loss of freedom, work, income, socializing -- human activity.

Then there's the partial destruction of commerce and industries that will cost huge in wealth, energy and time to resuscitate.

Then forced political changes. Have you heard of the ominous meme being bandied about: "the New Normal"?

(Some places like SA will descend into socialism when the opportunist bastards in power hang onto the police powers they are so enjoying and take more control of the economy. btw, about 190 deaths here, in pop. of about 60 mil)

For what? For this men almost brought down civilisation?

You left out specifically what's being done to the US.

Put that top of the list, and you have a good summary of what this virus was intended to accomplish.

The deaths are merely a means, not a main goal, except in China, where population thinning is among the main goals.  (The deaths in China - where the death count has been significantly underreported and has probably been assisted - get rid of some drain-on-the-economy elderly people, and probably others, political enemies.)

I've mentioned before, though not in awhile, an "eliminate 'em" population-culling effort I've been minorly helpful in trying to thwart.  Ironically, the eliminativist schemers are pissed and confounded by this virus scare, since their plans are being tangled by measures being taken by governments and by individuals trying to protect themselves.  So there is that plus, along with the plus of countries deciding that they can't afford contra-"climate change" initiatives at this time.

But.  The price is steep.

There is an upsurge in cases in China and South Korea. South Korea's upsurge is due to young people "clubbing." Locally, it keeps getting worse but not a whole lot as long as the one's you know don't get the coronavirus. My daughter is cleaning out her 4th grade school room today. Many local kids and their parents are not happy with the closed schools, but if it were a personal choice and I had a kid in school . . . ?

Ellen's population culling words remind me of "Soylent Green," and if you type in "epidemic" or "pandemic" a dozen or more movies and TV shows pop up. There are flashing neon signs on route 50 leading in and out of Ocean City that visitors from several states must self quarantine for 14 days but I know quite a few people have already moved into their beach houses in OC, MD and Fenwick Island, DE. For mother's day I am going to get pickup at a local restaurant.

I was considering the options of government mandated quarantining in comparison to self-quarantining. When is it moral for a government to restrict the actions of its citizenry? For example, it is moral to allow sports people to gamble with their lives. But what if a snow boarder behaves recklessly to himself and causes a snow avalanche that endangers other’s lives?

A couple of recent videos.

1. Polly.

(Here is the Bitchute link in case the embedded YouTube video below ever gets taken down: The Global Health Mafia Protection Racket.)

The documentation in this video is impeccable. I have even seen this video appear in O-Land places on the Internet (like in the #UnlockHumanity group). Because of the impeccable documentation, the comments are not derogatory and mocking--which is typical of what I have seen before--but, instead, can be characterized as, "Woah..."

There simple is no way to ignore what she presented seeing that it is all over the Internet on the relevant sites of institutions, even in charter documents.

2. Corbett.

(Here is the Bitchute link in case the embedded YouTube video below ever gets taken down: Bill Gates' Plan to Vaccinate the World.)

Also, I plan to read the following book simply because Polly talked favorably about the author in the first video above and the wrong people are blasting her book (and her) all over the place (however, Amazon is selling the shit out of it 🙂 )Plague of Corruption: Restoring Faith in the Promise of Science by Judy Mikovits and Kent Heckenlively, with a Forward by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr..

The people being exposed are morally repulsive to me. And this gets complicated because they are also geniuses in their respective fields. Despite this, I do not want any one of them to be my Lord and Slave Master. They all want to be that and I will fight them.

btw - The trick being used by these people is an age-old con generally attributed to "evil capitalists." (Although, the ones who get away with it are always crony government-business partnerships, i.e., crony corporatists.)

The con goes like this.

1. You create a problem without anyone in the general public knowing about it, then spring it on people.
2. You use artifices to fund altruistic-like organizations (NGO's, research organizations, etc.) to study the problem, find solutions and make recommendations for the good of all.
3. Using a different public structure, you sell the general public the solution to the problem--the one you created--and make a killing.

Bill Gates adds a twist. He has a nonprofit foundation to do the artifice stuff and a for-profit trust specifically set up to manage the funds of the nonprofit foundation. In other words, through a series of maneuvers, his donations come right back to him, generally enhanced by profits due to the funds from the different governments he picks up along the way. As to creating the problem in the case of the coronavirus, he had the Chinese government do that part.

Jon and Jules,

sigh...

I just spent about 3 hours watching videos, reading and writing to put up a post I believe is important and informative to readers (whether they agree or disagree). I would be interested in comments on it.

I, for one, believe this stuff needs to be discussed. Haven't you seen what the bad guys did to the world?

But no. No sooner had I done that, then you two come along and say, "Damn, you are so fucking dumb" and "That may be but you are still a pussy and a batshit nutter" to each other about a kindergarten fight no one but you two gives a fuck about.

And how long did it take either of you to write your pearls of wisdom? All of 5 seconds?

Why don't you do that stuff through private messaging? The forum software has a private messaging function. I don't mind if you guys compare dick sizes and taunt each other to death. But, for God's sake, get a room.

Oh, wait...

There's no audience when you speak in private, right?

I see what you guys are interested in...

Now nobody is going to discuss the issues of the day--nobody is going to be persuaded TO THINK one way or another--and now we are going to be subject to 20 posts from Jon and Jules taunting and mocking each other (and others). The coronavirus scandal... it's all about Jon and Jules... and which dick is bigger...

Who cares?

No one. That's who.

When you do this shit, you make me wonder why I even bother to run a goddam discussion forum.

It is a fascinating hypothetical. One any of us could face in reality any day, given how the world is going.

Jules tricked me. I thought he was going to enter into a philosophical discussion around this hypothetical, which includes morality, politics, rights, etc.

I agree with you about private messaging.

Jules, next time call me a murderer in private messages, ok? Then you can demonstrate how weak and stupid you are privately, only to me.

even in California they cannot take your children from you.  They cannnnn put your house on quarantine and NO one can leave the house but they can’t go in and remove your children.  They have to assume everyone in the household is infected until proven otherwise.  So Jon your hypothetical has no merit and is not worth answering.  Dipshit.

They can take your children away through child protective services (CPS in Arizona). It's take them first, go to court second. Somewhere in there is a flimsy legal rubber stamped fiction.

The single greatest advance in medicine was the germ theory of disease. It's precursor was smallpox vaccination.

There is no handling flu with vaccine, just the pretense, but the pretense is a horse to ride into good doing the world.

I'd never get a flu shot. The virus mutates too much too quickly.

Money is a road to power. These money men, ironically, are being controlled and used by people who live in all ways high on the hogs.

They aren't after a virus, but you and me through nation state destruction and globalization.

Above all they must all belong to the same fraternity. If Bill Gates were a true hero he'd go after malaria with DDT advocacy.

the trick is difficult to pull off in Ventura County, where officials said that if your children test positive and you have only one bathroom, they will take your children and isolate them.

I suppose then you are saying don't let them find out your children are sick. That certainly sounds prudent. Maybe go to a nearby county when they need medical care, one that doesn't have officials who speak like that.

Nevertheless, you have failed to deal squarely with the hypothetical.

Facebook oh-so-diligently alerted me, when I shared this story, that an independent fact-checker said that this story is partly false...that the individuals would only be removed voluntarily:

"The Department of Health confirmed to LeadStories.com that viral reaction to the comments were a "misunderstanding" about the process to offer people in need separate house and stated it was voluntary, not forced."

Well, whose fault is that? I heard the video, and it not state it was voluntary; just the opposite:

We will be giving intensive training to these people. Training not only for identifying and finding contacts but also in term as of how to be sensitive. We also realize that as we find more contacts some of the people, we find are going to have trouble being isolated.

"For instance, if they live in a home where there is only one bathroom and there are three or four other people living there and those people don't have COVID infection, we're not going to be able to keep the person in that home.

"Every person who we are isolating for instance needs has to have their own bathroom.
And so, we will be moving people like this into other kinds of housing that we have available

"They'll also have other needs perhaps. Food. Whatever it is going to be, the county will be there to back them up and support them."

"We're not going to be able to keep the person in the home" does not sound very voluntary to me...
