Once they are fatter than the government at least competent people will be in charge.

I think there's a lot more evidence that it, in fact, boils down to femininity vs masculinity. There are essentially two sides of the ideological conflict. Two sexes.

You can trace sharp increases in government spending by region based on when women were granted the right to vote in that region. You can also see the feminization of men all over the West, and a general aversion to responsibility. You can also see parallels between the current governments and the archetypal overbearing mother (unrestrained feminine instinct), vs past governments and more patriarchal relationships to their citizens.

Of course one could go on, the many artificial divisions, and old and new invented fault-lines in the name of some or other 'group' or tribe, or whatever. (Often seeking attention, cash or ascendancy, seldom "equality" like they claim). They all are sub-categories of collectivism (so, anti-individualist and anti-individual rights).

Ellen  wrote: And, since you have at least two high-risk factors, your age and hypertension, on what basis did you assess your chances of dying from Covid as "extremely low"? end quote

Well, Grasshopper, since you ask. With medication my BP is low. I sleep well with a CPAP machine. I have good dreams. My brain is functioning. Until recently I walked 2 or 3 miles, three times a week, and I may begin again. The top of my right foot got sore. I don’t get sick. I haven’t had a cold in seven or eight years. I was deemed, healthy by my Doc. My meds have not changed in ten years.

I think my observation about myself “being healthy and not worried too much about Covid,” may have been from when Covid was new around March 2020. That month my mother in law died when she was 92 and I didn’t think it was from old age. She had Covid symptoms but they would not test her. “She was 92,” the medics repeated several times. At the same time I felt out of sorts and I wondered if I had mild Covid but I never had myself tested.

I survived, and I felt invincible even though that IS, and WAS, a hunch based on my report from the VA, though my creatinine level is off a bit. But no change in meds was advised. I may stop daily taking 2000 I.U. of vitamin D which can have an effect on it . . . maybe I will change to 3 or 4 times a week. Other factors can by Motrin or Aleve using. I stopped. And too much red meat, not enough fiber and not enough water can affect your creatinine level.

Now I am vaxxed up. My Pfizer vaccination yesterday has left me with a mildly sore arm around the injection site. I plan on making minor life style changes and I will be back at the VA in six months.

How are all of you doing? Peter

"Corporatocracy", perhaps? Don't you think that may be where the Woke-ists want to go?  No relation that I know of to laissez-faire, btw.

No thanks. Yes, they'll be more efficiently competent than Gvts and bureaucrats and that scares me.

You "felt invincible," yet you (self-reportedly on this forum) stayed home, got dinners delivered and left at a social-distancing distance by the delivery person, avoided "Big Box" stores, only recently dared to go to a restaurant.

Doesn't scan.

I am always careful. I don't shake hands if I can avoid it. I stay out of large rooms with a lot of people in them, to avoid germs. So, perhaps invincible was too broad a term. I am careful. Even before Covid going to a movie theatre was tough to do. I hated it when people sat behind me and I breathed their germs. Ugh! And what if someone coughed? I have never seen a reason "to mingle" a lot. "I yam what I yam," as Popeye said.

Well, now I'm curious about how informed even much of the "alt" media is.  Are "alt" people talking about Sellin and Chen's evidence that the outbreak started accidentally from experiments being conducted by the PLA at the October 2019 Military Games?

Ellen

Repeat from one of my posts:

==== Quote follows ====

Lawrence Sellin's belief that the outbreak started inadvertently from experiments conducted at the Wuhan World Military Games, October 18-27, 2019, getting out of hand.

Here's Sellin's most recent Gateway Pundit post on that thesis:

fu-sen-1.jpg
WWW.THEGATEWAYPUNDIT.COM

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been numerous and persistent reports from athletes of influenza-like symptoms either during or soon after...

Key claims from that piece:

"The source explained that the subsequent outbreak in Wuhan was entirely unexpected. That is, there was no laboratory leak, but the unintended spread among the Chinese population of Wuhan of a virus for which the PLA had underestimated its transmissibility.

"Chinese defector Wei Jingsheng also claimed recently that COVID-19 was deliberately released during the Wuhan World Military Games."

Note: Although Joe Hoft is credited as author, the piece is actually by Lawrence Sellin.  They forgot to put the by-line in.

I normally don't like to advertise one thread on another, but I just came across something and I believe there might be connection between it and the coronavirus bioweapon.

Earthquakes in Grid Pattern? See for yourself...

If this is true, the globalists or whoever have been really making their move since President Trump's administration.

Scary shit.

Spoken like a true totalitarian. New Zealand is officially a dystopia.

I think it was a health official from Australia who recently said that COVID vaccines will be a permanent thing and people will just have to get used to continual boosters.

But yeah, that video is disturbing. Aside from the totalitarian tone, this whole "keep the vaccinated safe from the unvaccinated" line of reasoning is so egregious, and shocking to hear from world leaders. How is that any more intelligent than what Flat-Earthers believe?

What have you done Brant, former medical professional for the United States?

Well for me I am protected after getting three Covid shots, so Covid is no longer a threat to me. The people I love are vaccinated so Covid is no longer a threat to them. Now Covid exists as a threat to  . . . the guys who won’t get vaccinated . . .  who lack something or other . . . and I wish you well . . . I hope you don’t die. Sob. I remember when this epidemic started and I had an extremely low chance of dying from it . . . and now I have even a lesser chance of dying from it. I will take the lesser chance. As Adele sang, We could have had it all . . . . Get the vaccinations.

I had a very strange cold in Feb 2020 which was likely the virus. Since then I take V D with fatty food, some zinc, V C, etc. Haven't had a snivel since in spite of being in very close contact  with various persons every day. I'm 77. I have long lived predecessors on both sides of my family. They tended to live into their 90s. No heart disease to speak of, but I take a potassium supplement. My grandfather had a heart attack when he was 85 and it hardly slowed him down. He was working on two books when he died at 91, one of which was edited to publication.

The federal government and most state governments want to mandate the spike protein shot,  They would force you to take it on pain of losing your job and doubtless further punishments in future.  Whether that is right or not is a question separate from the safety and efficiency of a medical treatment.

Suppose for a moment that the spike protein shot is all Peter says it is: very safe, phenomenally effective.  Here are a  few quotes from an article Peter references, “America’s Finally Telling the Anti-Vax Nuts Where They Can Go,” on the leftist website The Daily Beast:

... we must completely dispense with thoughts and prayers and placating conversations to convince vaccine-hesitant Americans. Instead, it’s time to lay the boom down with vaccine mandates across schools, airlines, and businesses ...”
...
... California ... announced that [it] will require coronavirus vaccine mandates for all schoolchildren in the coming year. In a sane country, this policy would be celebrated and embraced by other states ...
...
If anti-vax parents don’t like it, they can homeschool their kids ... [Comment:  At least he’s not opposed to home-schooling but apparently he’s happy with forcing parents to pay for the public schools they can no longer use.]
...
[Airlines] must follow [two  politicians’] proposal requiring passengers to be vaccinated or show proof of a negative test before domestic flights.

Etc.  What is Peter doing on a discussion group more-or-less informed by libertarian ideals?

Here is the mythos, the allegoric nature of Q in actuality. A healthy young girl coerced into getting the jab , possibly having her life's dreams destroyed not based on risk benefit analysis of her life, but one calculated to lower the risk for the elderly. It's heartbreaking and disgusting, they are drinking the blood of the young to keep the old alive. By all means make your own decisions about experimental jabs for yourself, but damn you if you take any comfort in doing it to the young for a benefit you may accrue, you are monsters if you do.

"…to lower the risk for the elderly."

You know what?  I'm elderly.  I'll be 79 soon.

I am more incensed about what’s being done to young people with these "jabs" than I can recall ever being in my life before - except for the time I saw a tinbit wannabe cowboy whip and spur a horse into running until the horse literally dropped dead underneath him.  That was in a public park with riding trails in the Chicago area.  I was out riding on a horse rented from a stable I frequented when I was going to school at Northwestern.  I wanted to get off the horse I was riding and grab the whip from that guy's hand and whip him to death.  Only time in my life I’ve actually wanted to kill someone.

(Only after I calmed down a little did I realize that the "cowboy" was probably just  someone who'd seen a lot of Westerns where horses are ridden at a sustained run longer than, realistically, a horse could maintain.  The guy didn’t know better.  The stable owner who rented the horse to him without supervision was the one at fault.)

Long story, but I hope it makes my point.  I DO NOT WANT "protection" from young people who might have Covid.  I'll protect myself, damn it (though not by getting the poison "jabs").  Leave the young alone!

I'm crying again.  I hate this business of young people being "jabbed" with that stuff.

You in the sense I used it, was the 'general' you .

I hope you realize, given even only what I know of you from your postings that I would never think anything even close of that of you. I certainly would not intend to make you cry.

You really should read beyond the headlines, at least once and a while. Yes three recounts, two from the state senate of AZ and the recount portion of the 'Cyber Ninja" audit did re-tally and fairly closely demonstrate similar totals of the official ballot receipts. The question and still remains , what percentage of the official tallies reflect legally cast ballots.

We could count and recount a stack of counterfeit bills all day and agree on the total bills, the counting doesn't assess the quality of the bills.
