TG,

I did something I rarely do these days.

I went around to the normal newsfeeds without signing in, including YouTube, Google, Yahoo and others just to see what was cooking.

My God!

If you pay attention to that crap, you will think everything is lost and Trump is an idiot. This is just like the couple of months before the 2016 election, except instead of doing fake polls and so on, now they amplify all court losses as if they were final judgments that destroy the cases, and they are treating the Bidens like royalty. Did you see how many articles there are about Biden's fucking cat? :) As to Trump's chances, according to them, he's in the first stage of the five stages of grief--denial. Blah blah blah. This kind of stuff is all you get.

For people who follow what is actually going on where it counts, this is like stepping through a reality warp portal or something. These people are going to go nuts when they realize that President Trump is actually pulling it off and nothing can stop his second term.

And here in O-Land, I am feeling in general that the people are giving up, which makes me believe they are getting their information from the mainstream. Hell, for as much as I rag William on Democracy Docket, he's at least looking at court cases, not pundits living in Never-Never Land.

How many in our subcommunity do things like that, especially when they feel like giving up?

It's something to think about. Learning Objectivism will help you organize your values, but it won't make a winner out of a quitter. The will to win, especially against steep odds, has to come from within the person irrespective of philosophy or news sources.

I am not a member of any religion, but I sure as hell admire how religious people use their religion to keep them focused on the prize and not give up. I wish that would happen in our subcommunity.

But here we see too many people letting their fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of rigged systems, propaganda as news, authoritarians spouting freedom while taking it, fear-mongering over disease, and the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. They are letting the hero in their souls perish in lonely frustration for a life they could deserve, but will never be able to reach. Why? Because they give up too easily.

Well I don't.

I've lived this before.

When President Trump gets sworn in for a second term (just like when he won the election), watch how many people who thought I was foolish, brainwashed, delusional, yada yada yada suddenly think I'm a genius. :)

I'm no genius, though. I just don't give up when I am convinced of the truth of something. And I'm quite good at identifying reality. So a good description is that I am tenacious while grounded in reality.

As far as the people trying to stage this coup goes, I am so pissed at them I could spit. They will not win. I will. Ditto for people who think like me.

I know many Christians who think like this. I don't know many Objectivists who do, even the bossy ones.

And that can mean one of two things, one bad and one good. It can be a criticism of the philosophy or it can be an opportunity. O-Land needs more winners.

One thing is for sure. When dealing with quitters, it doesn't take much to beat them.

Michael

Its a good attitude to have. Its something I'd tell my son. Mannerisms in my written way of communicating are different than my internal methodologies.

When the score has me down to my opponent I haven't lost. Not while I can mount an offense. Do I deal with my morale? Of course. Its part of regaining an edge.

What you said "I am so pissed at them I could spit." resonates. It is personal. Though making others targets of my animosity doesn't improve my chances of winning anything. I have so little mental space to waste on an outcome, on an occupation for feeling as if I've gained traction in a battle I can't win. So I choose battles personal to me. Making break throughs in playing guitar. Preparing my way to winning another tournament. And I bring all the fire and determination to these things that you bring to yours.

I hear you. That's the reason I come to Objectivist Living. I don't come to hear you've thrown in the towel.

It always good news hearing an opponent has been outed for cheating.

Ellen wrote, “I think it's probable that Trump will have been declared the winner and will be duly inaugurated on January 20, but I don't think it's overkill to prepare for that not happening, and I agree that he shouldn't accede to transfer of power to Biden if Biden is declared the winner.” And That Guy wrote,” That's the first time I heard about this in relation to the Germany server seizure; wow.

I agree. Wow. I am keeping my fingers crossed though I won’t donate any more money until I see something noteworthy happen, but I will not give up Michael! I won’t give up until and unless the Electoral College names Biden the next President. The Net is reporting that President Trump is already preparing to run in 2024 and “socialism is trickle up poverty”. Peter

To be fair, I guess, the religious people had a few millennia to practice, whereas O'ism is pretty new. But then, the religious people had their own share of the "doubting Thomas" syndrome. They were always getting rebuked for being "ye of little faith", Even after reportedly seeing "miracles" like the parting of the Red Sea, the walking on water, and the Resurrection... But yeah, I get that admiration and wish.

btw - The Sidney Kraken is now going after Virginia.

Sidney Powell: The #KrackenOnSteroids Team Is Also Looking at Election Fraud in Virginia

Quote

The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on the chaos and fraud in the Virginia presidential election this year.

On November 9th we reported on that moment at 5:12 AM Eastern when the vote counters took 373,000 votes off of the state totals.

President Trump had a substantial lead throughout the night before this point.

Another lucky Democrat was able to surge ahead in her race after THOUSANDS of ballots were “found” on a flash drive!

What are the odds?

. . .

On Sunday Attorney Sidney Powell confirmed that her #KrakenOnSteroids team is also looking at fraud in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

That’s great news!

They better secure a few of those ballot machines!

See the article for graphs of vote reversals and so on.

You ain't just whistlin' Dixie...KYW-1060* was reporting, with just a hint of smug glee, on Trump's PA case being dismissed by the PA Supreme Court "with prejudice", and the reversal of the certification hold, as if it were a done deal. Said that it was over, no appeal, and no more cases were pending. No mention of it going to the Supreme Court next.

I just had KWY on in the car for the traffic report, and could only listen for a few minutes, as I already know how they shill for the Left. I usually don't even bother, beyond traffic and weather, but I wanted to see if they would mention SCOTUS as the next stop. Nope. Nada. Nothing. So it makes sense that regular listeners of the MSM who don't go beyond that believe the hype of the propaganda.

(They also went after Sen. Mastriano, re; Covid, vilifying his efforts to re-open the state and opposing dear Governor Wolf, "who's just trying to keep everyone safe." (The actual words used to end that segment.) Supposedly, Mastriano suddenly left a meeting with Trump today after being diagnosed with Covid...let's see how the 48-hour rule plays out with this one...)

There  are bubbles and then there are bubbles, this unfortunately is a highly effective gaslighting, it's a literal psych-op . I think the media engineered gaslighting may work without much in the way of overt physical force but probably in societies where the ratio is closer to 60/40 political split .

Our situation is much closer to 50/50 and enough red pilling has taken place to get some of willfully blind 50 % to notice. Unfortunately it's still enough now to get some voices , ones that believe there is fraud in the election results, but are fearful of the consequences of the gaslighting. Think 'they' know or will realize they are in fact the targets?

You know the ones who state that it may be necessary to forgo even a legitimate Trump victory in order to avoid the chaos and mayhem the propaganda says is coming.

We are told level headed moderate voters turned out in record numbers to vote Biden, do level headed moderate voters go apeshit crazy when legal , constitutional 'things' happen ? If half the country is moderate and the 'other' half desire freedom and individual rights , whence comes the civil war ?

Somebody in the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office is not amused with people who testified about election and voter fraud in PA.

(The title of the article says DOJ because she simply said "Attorney General's office" in the second video below. The correct is Pennsylvania Attorney General's office.)

WOW! PA Election Observer Drops BOMBSHELL – Says DOJ Showed Up at Her Door to Question Her After She Testified (VIDEO)

In short, a lady, Leah Hoopes, a Republican poll watcher in Delaware County in PA was interviewed a few days ago on Newsmax. Here is the clip:

Lo and behold, on Saturday, she got a little visit from the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office.

She said she couldn't tell if they were interested in the irregularities she noticed or whether they were investigating her.

I think that was too little too late for the bad guys, but they aren't fucking around.

They're coming for you if you speak out.

Let's take a walk on the wild side for a moment.

A twofer.

1. A Chinese video. I believe there is a kernel of truth in the video below. Not what the guy says, but a variation on that.

IF PROMISED A TRUMP PARDON, BIDEN WILL CONCEDE - CHINESE STATE MEDIA

image.png

If the blurb is too small to read, here is it as a quote.

Quote

The whistle blower who found the hunter biden info has reported that joe biden has met with senator mitch mcconnell to try to secure a pardon from Trump in exchange for his concession.

UPDATE:
Reported elsewhere, the 'broken ankle' story is a cover for the ankle bracelet biden is now wearing and will be covered up by a foot cast.

Let's not forget that GTV, which seems to be the source of this video (although I don't have a direct link yet), is a platform in Taiwan, not Communist China. And it is the platform that hosted the videos from Hunter's laptop of him smoking crack and having sex.

But I doubt this is true as stated (that Biden offered to concede in exchange for a Trump pardon for himself and his family, especially Hunter). But it does show that lots of people are buzzing around in this direction.

And it's not just people like me who are hearing the buzz. I have no doubt whatsoever that some insiders on the Biden side are hearing it and thinking they got in way over their heads. So they are flipping in exchange for immunity or leniency. After all, the penalty for treason is death by execution and, even though they signed up to be a part of a fraud machine, they didn't sign up for treason.

As to the top-level people on Biden's side who would flip, I just can't see Joe doing it. It's much easier to plead mental incapacity. But, since I am a former crack addict, I can easily see his son Hunter doing it. Also, character-wise, I can see Kamala flipping on a dime once she realizes the jig is up and there is way too much evidence.

2. On the idea that Joe's hairline fracture is an excuse to cover an ankle-bracelet, I just have to wait and see. My get tells me this one is a stretch.

However, for people saying this, the following sure poured gasoline on that fire.

:)

So there it is. Even though this stuff is probably not as stated, it is worth thinking about because it is something to look out for with other people as this election fraud blows up.

With Biden himself, though? Hell, who knows?

One can certainly hope...

(btw - I hope... :) )

The last I heard Joe was in Rehoboth, Delaware, about thirty miles from me. It is odd to envision a aerial "real life" map in one's head and imagine what is happening just 30 miles away. I can see it . . . Whoa! Crap! I think I'm OK. Ouch. No I'm not!

And who is a mere fall away? Wonder Woman! Madam President.

I had not heard about Joe's fall while playing with his German Shepherd up near Wilmington, so he isn't still in Rehoboth. I am watching the local Salisbury, MD news and they have not mentioned "the fall." The article I read on the web says they found a sprain and a hairline fracture in his mid foot and he will need to wear "a boot" for several weeks.  I wonder how his shuffling along will be covered in the news? Will this affect his briefings? If it gets worse or just for safety, will he be in a wheel chair?

TG,

Don't be sad about Objectivism.

I predict it will change a lot over time. And here's why.

In religions and social ideologies like communism, there is a strong community organizing component. Ditto for families (there is no biological way to eliminate families from the evolution of the species, so that is a fundamental). This is not present in Objectivism except in the most distant and abstract terms.

So, at present, from the way I see it, Objectivism works best as a kind of self-help philosophy (a great one for most contexts) when it sits squarely on top of a Christian society, although it is starting to work well on top of the social glue that holds India together.

This is a long discussion, but basically there are two pillars for this in my thinking.

The first is that the universe seems to be formed of static components that form shapes and fluid or dynamic elements the fill out the details. It's a little more complicated than that, but that is a pretty good large-picture view.

This holds for things as diverse as stars and galaxies, rivers, narratives, societies, everything non-organic and organic. At the sub-particle level, the static elements morph back and forth, but they do so in a manner where patterns can be detected.

A good metaphor is a house. The foundation and frame are static, while the bathroom curtains can be changed at will. Walls are static, but can be swapped out or eliminated. So walls can be both, depending on what else is going on. One cannot eliminate the foundation.

Even in the brain, you have place neurons and location neurons on and round the hippocampus. (The terms might be a little different since I am going on memory right now.) The point is one kind of neuron allows you to recognize landmarks and another allows you to see where you are as you change where you are amidst a bunch of landmarks.

Objectivism as social glue has no static frame part. So it needs to sit on top of one. Creating that is the opportunity I mentioned.

The second pillar in my thinking is I believe in fractals as one of the basic building-blocks of the universe. This static-dynamic nature of all things holds everywhere. Even in Objectivism, the axiomatic concepts are static. Context provides the dynamism. However, the habit (which comes directly from Rand) of expressing every little goddam thing in a tone of absolute certainty, often loaded with an aggressive tone or bellic metaphors, confuses many people and leads them to consider dynamic elements as static. This leads to all kinds of confusion.

It also leads to many in O-Land being quitters when they should take out arms, haul up a flag and march to a drum. That's what you do in war if you want to win it. But not peace. In peacetime, that would be a threat if that was your main behavior (I mean one that you do on your own, not as part of a job like being in the military).

A need to be right all the time and always speak with absolute certainty, I believe, makes it hard for O-Land people to understand different social contexts.

That makes it near impossible to formulate and implement social glue.

So long as there is no social glue, no static part for society except something like NIOF, which ignores a great deal of human nature, the fractal will not be complete. So an Objectivist society will not be possible until this gets worked out.

For me, I am happy with Objectivism sitting on a predominantly Christian society that allows different things to sit on it. But I also think it's well worth looking into how to improve this if possible. One good start was what the Founding Fathers did, especially in wedding individual rights with checks and balances on power.

Enough for now. This is a long discussion so there is plenty of time to dig in and toss ideas like this around.

Once this kind of evidence gets to the Supreme Court, it's all over.

The white hat hackers have been surveilling the Deep State. And like Col. Waldron said, they have "the traffic and the packets."

And even if some fluke happens and it does not get to the Supreme Court, data logs and recordings (and however they do it and prove the records have not been altered) of votes being changed online is the equivalent of a military attack.

Despite what the media feels like right now (if you are unfortunate enough to consume the mainstream media raw), President Trump has so many paths to being sworn in on Jan 20, frankly it will be a miracle if he isn't. And the reason for this is only one. The Trump side played by the rules and the Biden side cheated in just about every way an election can be defrauded. They went all in.

They left evidence all over the place.

Every path to victory for President Trump is laden with huge numbers of examples of different forms of election and voter fraud favoring the Democratic Party. In every State, just a few tens of thousands of ballots being thrown out puts him winning over Biden by the normal count (even with the fraudulent Dominion voting machines).

Also, there are different authorities that can legally judge these different forms of fraud, from State governments, especially the legislators, to the Supreme Court, to different forms of military, to whichever deals with outright confessions by higher-ups in the Biden campaign. Unfortunately, federal law enforcement is missing in action right now, but if those agencies wake up and neutralize the bad actors working there, this is a path, too.

All President Trump needs is just one to get it done right. And there are many. He doesn't need all of them. And he doesn't even need his own people, for that matter, for several of them them to happen. He has his own people working this, but there are other people all over America flooding the courts and the different legal channels with their own efforts.

So keep heart.

Do not succumb to apathy and depression engineered by covert manipulation (and blatant manipulation, too) of the media and social media.

The world's best people are fighting the good fight--not just for President Trump, but against fraud and a coup.

I trust them, I trust their competence, and I trust their righteous fury.

If anyone wants to see the video, and/or skip around on it, of the hearing in Arizona yesterday with President Trump's Campaign lawyers (led by Rudy Giuliana), witnesses to election and voter fraud they called, and members of the Arizona State government, here you go.

It's a long, long video and I am listening to it at double speed, skipping over the dead parts, etc.

If anyone wants to see the Deep State in all its glory, here it is in the witness testimonies and reports.

This is like a master class in election deception techniques and how to get them implemented by corrupt politicians.

This is how you win a war, in stages--using the appropriate firepower on relevant targets.

The problem with far too many people these days, which is not their fault because of so many broken promises, is that when they hear a politician say xxx needs to be done in the next stage and not at the present, they understand that as code for nothing will ever be done about xxx.

In the case of the Trump team plus or minus 74 million pissed off voters, I don't think we have this problem.

Great people are leading the charge and they know what they are doing. Rudy took out 5 mob families in NYC in one whack. Sidney Powell has overturned court cases at SCOTUS with unanimous votes by the Justices. And on and on.

The people on our side are not delaying. They are fighting the war in the correct sequence of stages and obviously winning since they keep going to the next stage. The RINO never-Trumpers (like Gov. Kemp & Co.)who are trying to delay in the deceptive manner are getting torched.

Our people know how to win without cheating, even in hopeless situations. They're very good at it and they have done a lot of it.

So, at the right time, the bad guys are going to go to jail. And President Trump will be sworn in next Jan 20 for a second term.

This reminds me of James Taggart, especially of his breakdown towards the end of Atlas Shrugged...

- "Don't bother me, don't bother me, don't bother me!"

- “No . . .” he moaned, staring at that vision, shaking his head to escape it. “No . . . No . . .” “Yes,” said Galt.

-They knew who it was that had been broken tonight. They knew that this was the end of James Taggart, whether his physical survived or not.
