Baltimore Blues

As we all know, the other day, President Trump referenced Rep. Elijah Cummings in a tweet (see here).

Quote

Cummings' district is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place.

Man, did shitstorm follow.

"Muh racist, muh racist," yelled the left and other anti-Trumpers.

A CNN dude cried on air at the cruelty of it all.

The entire media piled on.

How dare the President lie like that about the noble Elijah Cummings and his city?

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

Elijah Cummings' Baltimore Home Is Robbed

Quote

The break-in at Cummings' residence on the 2000 block of Madison Avenue occurred at around 3:40 a.m. according to police. It is unclear whether anything was taken from the property.

According to Fox News, the reported break-in came around four hours before President Trump blasted Cummings over Twitter for representing a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess."

We live in times of high comedy.

All the neighboring ranches keep crying, "Muh racist! Muh racist!"

But back at a ranch on the other side of town, the whole country is coming together:

They will probably invite Elijah Cummings to join them, but I doubt he will show up.

I bet they do a good job, though.

It is truly awe inspiring how President Trump "makes' a star. Look at his recent list of nominees, who can now do very little harm to his campaign but can sabotage the Democrats continuously. Bravo! Who's the best politician ever? Not that he would accept that accolade.

Peter,

LOL...

President Trump's unforgivable sin for the establishment is that he did not come from within the Republican Party (the Demopublican duopoly to be precise). It's that he came from the outside, barged his way in and took over.

:)

And the bitch of it is that if the insiders had been doing just 10% of what they had been promising to their constituents, I don't think he would have stood a chance. People feel safe when their institutions stand solid and they are very reluctant to change them. It takes a hell of a lot of incompetence and corruption to provide a background where someone like President Trump can come in and take over.

People need their institutions, but the institutions also need the people. The US institutions had been gradually isolating themselves from the people except at vote and tax times. They lost their value to the people as they gradually turned into a "let them eat cake" kind of cluelessness.

Let's just say, far better him than the Communists, who have been trying for decades and finally succeeding (they friggin' brainwashed an entire generation by infiltrating public education and the university system right under everyone's noses).

President Trump's incursion, his talent for brawling within limits, and his love for what America stands for, has made them reveal themselves to the public.

Thus we get endless Antifa thugs and the bipolar hysterical meltdowns who can't shoot straight. Trump supporters are not angry mobs with torches and pitchforks. Trump supporters are laughing at the fruitcakes and having a great time as they take the government out of the hands of elitist assholes, raise up their sleeves and build a productive peaceful world.

Recovering this spirit in the public square is one of Trump's main values. I don't think any professional politician could have pulled it off.

Well said Michael. President Trump is the best politician ever AND he is not a professional politician. Jefferson had many talents as does Trump, and I see shining similarities between those two, non-politicians. (And lots of descendants,  joke.)
