The Koch Side of Life - Feeling So Soros

It took time, but the true nature of things always comes out.

Establishment elitists are the same everywhere, whether left, right, libertarian or just plain old vanilla dictator--real or wannabe.

In an astonishing turn, George Soros and Charles Koch team up to end US ‘forever war’ policy

Why am I not surprised?

May they enjoy their partnership.

Far away from me...

Tucker, from about a week ago, is a bit mixed up in a few things here (like the sincerity of people who espouse one thing, but do another), but he does raise questions nobody else is asking. Like, for instance, if the Kochs have little to do with Republican thinking, why are they practically running the Republican party?

For me, the answer is a no-brainer.

They work to keep crony government privileges and protections open for their companies and get as many tax exemptions as possible, especially if they are not available to others. And they succeed. How? They buy politicians. (Real libertarian, huh? :) )

That's what they do.

What they say is the opposite and Tucker takes them at their word.

I used to.

No longer.

From The Washington Times yesterday:

George Soros, Charles Koch bringing another U.N. in America's gates

From the article:

Quote

If George Soros is the billionaire guy all the ideologically right types love to hate — with good reason, really — and Charles Koch is the billionaire of Big Business adoration — meaning, the guy the ideological left love to hate — then what’s up with their partnering for an “anti-war” think tank called the Quincy Foundation?

Here’s the answer: Because Soros and Koch are both cut from the same globalist cloth.

While Soros is busily bouncing money into political causes that advance his progressive-slash-socialist views, Koch is busily pouring equal amounts in cash for causes that advance his Wall Street views. For example? For example, for Koch, it’s money before borders.

. . .

... now the two bored billionaires are preparing to pool their ample resources to fund The Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, with a planned launch date of September. Both coughed up an initial half-million for the endeavor. The Boston Globe reported several other donors had put in a collective $800,000 more.

America, beware.

Yes, Koch has a record of pressing for limited government and tea party-type principles — in contract to Soros, who always goes for the Big Government solution to all. But.

But.

When asked in a long-ago interview about Soros‘ far-leftist principles, Koch offered up this rather lame explanation, as noted by The Independent: “[He’s just not] been sufficiently exposed to the ideas of liberty.”

Really? ‘Cause Soros has led the, what — sheltered life?

No. It’s not that Soros hasn’t been exposed to liberty, or that he hasn’t been educated on the roots of liberty — or on the tremendous gift of liberty America offers in its guiding principle of independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident,” “that [all] are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.”

It’s that Soros has indeed been exposed to these principles of liberty, but flatly rejected them.

And now Koch is joining these hands?

Good question.
