If you could heat the head of a pin to the same temperature as the core of the sun (15000 Kelvin) it would kill everyone within 1000 miles.

The pin would vaporize well before such a temperature can be reached.   The strangest metals will vaporize  under 3000 deg C.  The Sun surface temp.  is  5800 deg C (approx).

Well I knowwww that I did quantify the theoretical with “IF”

This is my favorite If     אויב מיין באָבע האט בייצים זי וואָלט זיין מיין זיידע

translated.  If my grandma had balls she would be my grandpa.   I learned this counterfactual definite when I was four years old.

Ok well how about if we could theoretically heat a pin head sized material as yet to be discovered(possibly constructed from grandma’s balls) that could withstand 15000 Kelvin...

If aliens have electro emissions like our TV would we detect them at our level of scientific sophistication? If aliens are also derived from their “primordial soup” on their home planets and have DNA what fictional race would they resemble? Humans or the Vulcans or something else? So far, only primates have reached our exalted level of brainpower on earth, so could any other species unlike us become as smart as us? Without more data can we ever know? We have gone almost 70 years without a world wide war. Can we go a hundred years? 200 years? Is human evolution continuing upwards?

Maybe.

All we have is speculation.  We have not yet completely understood life on our own planet where we can know the physical conditions that affect life and how it can evolve.  Life can be extremely varied, yet all life is governed by the laws of physics.  So while living beings can be many things in many forms,  they cannot be any old thing. The following book addresses the questions you raised very well:  "The Equations of Life: How physics shapes evolution"  by Charles  S. Corkell.   This book is not for specialist  but it is not an easy read either.  If you read it prepare to wear your thinking cap.

most likely there'd be many species on another planet.  i'll go into the religion first: homo sapiens didn't get here alone, homo sapiens are only the fountainhead of achievement.

if a creature can move & has sense it has free will.

they would have different senses than us based on what forces dominate in their neighborhood (if they don't have light but instead electroweak radiation chemical atmosphere they will see that & be immune to it)

but meeting this earth would be much less likely.  probably in a galaxy governed by em & gravity primarily we'd meet creatures who physics would not affect us much but we'd have to be EXTREMELY careful of their biology.  they would have cells & bacterium infinitely different than our's.  so it would be ok to send them a broadcast but not ok for either of us to meet

If "they" are listening, I wonder what they think of us? Dogs and cats can sleep in front of a TV or radio and understand nothing, but if they hear a high pitched noise it does mean something to them. In this case we humans may be the dogs and cats to some more advanced civilization. But we are advancing at such a fever pitch now, I DO expect we MAY hear from some of our celestial neighbors, when we are able to.

And then they will drain the planet of water. 😈

I remember that premise in a scifi novel. Any new "hard scifi" writers out there? It seems those intellects have migrated to film.

I bet you'll get a kick out of this book:

Here's a sample:

We have speculated about this before and not just on this thread, but I want to know if anyone else has come up with some new ideas based on scientific speculation, or just wild ideas. Three theories with questions:

One. Can we humans rightly assume that on the planets’ of so far UN-detected aliens, their LESS intelligent life, if it exists, is like our own primitive earth life? Is it irrefutable to say that any alien life which MAY exist, evolved to survive and reproduce like life on earth? I think life will be the same throughout the Universe, down to the microscopic level but more evolved life will not be the same. So, is it possible that in the Universe some intelligent life reached or will reach the *Volitional Level* and HOW MUST aliens be like us? I know it is silly in a way to speculate about possible intelligent beings, but life on earth may be seeding the solar system and the galaxy as time passes and as we evolve here on earth. If life does not exist elsewhere it may exist in the next millennium from the action of panspermia.  In the realm of religious belief, one could speculate from a Hindu or Christian perspective for example, that life was JUST created here on earth. But here we come Universe!

Two. The distances in the universe are extreme. Yet, in a what-if scenario, could you imagine something that an alien would travel great distances to attain? There could be things similar to the fictional elements Latinum, (on Star Trek The Next Generation) or Unobtainium (in Avatar). So, if we have something of immense value, even if earthlings do not know it, is the idea of space traders or raiders plausible? Any thoughts on that? And I recognize, as Jules Troy did, that air, water, food, and fuel may be what is most sought items by any alien visitors.

Three. Any new ideas on why we have not received any communications from somewhere in the universe? If messages are available for humans to receive how will we finally receive them? Radio and light transmissions are picked up here on earth all the time. But what might a quantum leap in communications be?

Right now we have no way of knowing for finding out.  Anything done now is speculation and supposition.
