Sundry Hollywood Cases of Creepy

He will come around man.  Someone’s gotta punch me in the face once in a while.

Jules,

I doubt it. I'm open to it (seriously), but I just don't see it from his end. And that's fine.

My higher value is the health of OL. It's like Nathaniel Branden used to say about two incompatible values. If you sacrifice the lower value for the higher, that's not a loss, but a gain.

On your problem though... if you like, I can find someone else to punch you in the face.

:)

What's more, such a person should not be hard to find.

A guy I knew in Brazil once told me how things were in Rio de Janeiro. It went something like this.

"Man, if you are broke and you try to find someone to help you in Rio, you're better off keeping quiet. Tell people all you want is a little bread and milk so you won't starve and they will have nothing to do with you. They will not answer your calls anymore. But if you're broke and you tell people you need to fuck someone up real bad, then ask if they can help, except there's no money involved, 20 people will show up. And they bring their friends."

Is that any different here?

:)

Lol nope.  When I was a younger somewhat brasher lad there was literally only one guy knew/met that I NEVER wanted to fight with, he was one of my best friends(thank fuck).  Oddly when we went pub crawling the bouncers would always roll their eyes and swear under their breath (oh fuck not again...) Ray was 5’10 and about 160 pounds soaking wet butttt he could break a baseball bat with his shins while you only held it with one hand.... one night we got into it with an entire rugby team.  I was feeling pretty proud of myself for not getting my ass kicked and actually knocked out 3 of them.  That’s all that I had time for! I look around and there is Ray..dropped 15 in about 30 seconds.  Early 90’s you know how loud the music was...but all you could hear was CRACK CrACK.  Ive never seen anyone hit as hard and fast as him.  He probably would have loved Brazil.

Jules,

If you get time, read Blood Pressure by Damon Runyon. When I first read it, I couldn't stop laughing.

The setting is NYC of the 1930's, around Broadway. Gamblers, gangsters and people in that world.

The link goes to an Australian site and says you are not supposed to read this if you are in the USA. Just click through if something similar for Canada appears and you can read it.

This is one of the short stories the musical, Guys and Dolls, was based on.

It has everything to do with what we are talking about here. Except a whole lot funnier.

:)

... what public pronunciations do we get from Hollywood? Orange man bad. Everyone but them is a racist. And, like with the movie discussed above, Cutiesand their defense of it, we see there are pedophiles and pedophiles in gobs.

Lot's of 'em.

Polly weighs in on Cuties.

I'm watching it now, so I don't have a comment yet.

I do like the title, though: Cuties & Useful Idiots.

(For those who know:  . For everyone else: :) )

Michael

NOTE: I'm halfway through. If you want facts and tons of them, this is an excellent video. But here's the shocker for out neck of the woods. Polly comes down HARD on Reason magazine for promoting this film. As she shows, several big-wigs at Reason support Cuties. The Reason people call it "art." Polly calls it "soft-porn" since she can't see any artistic reason for endless close crotch shots of eleven-year-old girls. (They have their panties on, but the camera really likes sniffing around there and staying a while as the music thumps and grinds...)

NOTE 2: I finished. I forgot to mention something ironic and tragic at the beginning of the video.

The plotline of Cuties is the gradual corruption into sexual exploitation of a young black girl--all with a smiley face on it. Since Barack and Michelle Obama and Susan Rice are on the board of Netfkix, they had to have signed off on this movie, seeing how it was about exploiting a young black girl and all. Think about it...

Not good Mr. Former President and peeps.

The rest of the video is mostly about how QAnon is scaring the shit out of these pedophile people, especially those in among the elites. Polly doesn't aggrandize Q as if it did all this by itself, but she says Q has helped spread the word in a massive way. Now it's no longer just Trump supporters who are paying attention to Q.

The leftie theory is that, because of the lockdown, young college women (and a little older), who are generally "woke," have to stay at home and in closer contact with their family than normal. This means in closer contact with some of their conservative family members (as all families have black sheep, right?). Many of these woke young women are now mothers.

As Q has constantly bashed pedophiles, the conservative family members are now brainwashing the noble woke women by scaring the hell out of them about their babies and getting them to read QAnon lies. Thus some Democrats are now becoming Republican Trump supporters though a brainwashing technique.

:)

That's what they are actually saying on TV News. Polly shows video.

:)

You can't make this up...

I'm not going to start a new thread over Cuties, a pedo movie Netflix is showing and touting.

Now there's this.

Good.

Don't forget, Barack and Michelle Obama and Susan Rice are on the board of Netflix.

It's about time their private lives see some court action for trying to blow up the American culture.

I noticed he will be sentenced in May but in the meantime they won't let him out of jail. On the plus side he looks thinner, healthier, and less drug addled. He might live longer in jail. Jail seems healthier for a lot of celebrities.

Peter,

At least R. Kelly will have a different kind of sex life in prison than he has been used to.

:)

Lifetime made an 11-episode documentary (Part 1 with 6 episodes, Part 2 with 5 episodes) about R. Kelly's sex crimes called Surviving R. Kelly.

Both parts are on Netflix (to which I subscribe), so I can see the whole shebang easily.

Since I used to produce pop singers, I'm more interested in looking at his personality than I am in feeding of off victimization stories.

I think he is a dude who ended up believing his own bullshit for real, then went off the deep end riding an itch for sex with children.

There is one thing I want to try to figure out. The people in the entertainment industry royalty are often perverted as all hell and connected to the left-wing establishment (ditto for them). After all, simple pedophilia and even some sex trafficking are nothing compared to spirit cooking, cannibalism and so on that goes on with these freaks.

Notice that they all look out for each other, too.

But they did not look out for Michael Jackson and they are certainly not looking out for R. Kelly. Are they racists? That's a quip, but I wonder if there is some truth to it...

If you read the mainstream press, the stories of Kelly's guilty verdict are told with glee among NYT, WaPo, CNN. MSNBC, and so on.

What's with that?

Maybe there will be clues in the documentary series.

Keeeeeeeeeerrrraaaaaaaaack.

There goes the fucking dam...

I don't think the establishment counted on this as they crucified R. Kelly with glee.

One could write a song: "Where Did The Glee Go?"

:)

This story is nowhere near over.
