This shows  the intricate and clever folding scheme that ladybugs have for stowing their  very large wings  when not in flight.

And humans thought they were smart when they developed airplane with folding wings make room for the planes on aircraft carriers.  Hah!

It is lovely structures like this that create the illusion of intelligent design.
