Poisoning The Well

Recommended Posts

Hillary and the MSM (main stream media) are blaming Russian hack of DNC and Podesta email for Trump's election win. Obama pledged retaliation for Russian hackers. Chinese Navy captured an unmanned underwater drone lost by US Navy in international waters in China Sea. Gold surged on news. Effort to twist electors arms and throw 2016 presidential selection into the House still going strong.

I think the Democrats led by Obama have decided to "poison the well" before Trump takes office, by creating New Cold War with Russia and China, creating crisis to kneecap Trump's first 100 days. Not implausible that CIA feels imperiled by Trump policy of business-friendly foreign policy. http://www.moonofalabama.org/2016/12/elite-coup.html

Patriotic Americans need to be vigilant. Democratic meddling in the election may have already begun. Of course there is always “politics as usual” and what might be termed propaganda, but when does blasting your opponent become illegal? Peter

Notes. Vote for ‘Seen-clair’ In the 1934 gubernatorial race in California, Socialist Party candidate Upton Sinclair, author of “The Jungle,” was smeared in newsreels that played before movies, including one that showed an unkempt man who pledged his support to “Seen-clair” because, “His system vorked vell in Russia, vy can’t it vork here?”

Accusations of Dirty Tricks Fly on Final Pre-Caucus Day Updated 11:10 a.m. By John Solomon. With the Iowa caucuses less than a day away, last-minute dirty tricks were in full bloom. Mitt Romney's campaign reported some of its supporters in the state were getting phone calls directing them to the wrong caucus locations for tomorrow's vote. "We have received reports from Romney supporters who have gotten calls providing inaccurate information about the Governor and caucus locations. There is no excuse for these types of activities and they have no part in the caucus process," Romney spokesman Matt Rhoades said.

Several voters in Iowa reported getting calls from push pollers, who use a survey-like call to disseminate negative information about candidates. Doyle McCully, a Romney supporter in Bettendorf, Iowa, received such a call at home. "The person said they were doing a survey and then they asked whether if I knew Romney had supported abortion would I vote for him. And I said 'yes' because I figured it was one of those polls," McCully said in an interview with The Washington Post. "He then asked if I knew that Romney had authorized gay marriage when he was governor would I still vote for him and I said 'yes' again. And then he hung before I could ask who he was with."

1876: In an attempt to ruin Rutherford B. Hayes, Democrats spread the rumor that he once shot his own mother “in a fit of insanity” after a night of drinking in Ohio. Poor old Sophia Birchard Hayes was deceased, so she wasn’t around to debunk the claim. Hayes still defeated Samuel Tilden, though narrowly.

1908: Of course, Jennings could sling some mud, too. Consider this hit piece from a Midwestern paper on William Taft, a Unitarian in faith. “Think of the United States with a president who does not believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, but looks upon our immaculate Savior as common bastard and low, cunning imposter.”

1928: Speaking of playing the religious card, Herbert Hoover’s backers said Democrat Al Smith, a Catholic, engaged in “card-playing, cocktail drinking, poodle dogs, divorces, novels, stuffy rooms, evolution . . . nude art, prize-fighting, actors, greyhound racing and modernism.” Poodle dogs?

After being called a poodle lover, the candidate will need to call Karl Rover, H. Rider Haggard, or Mighty Mouse to save the day. Even the democrats and their propagandists haven’t been “that serious” about their 20 candidates. But after they are pared down we may see some serious uncovering of dirt, embarrassment with explanations, spitting, biting and eye gouging.

Call me a fake face and body language reader, but I say a deal is being struck between Sleepy Joe and Kamala. He will be Prez and Kamala or She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed will be Veep. Neither will do the other irreparable damage, then they will link forever in a ceremony where they both walk on fire, and take their oaths of office. He gets to sniff her whenever he wants. She runs the executive branch as Joe gets very sleepy.  Peter

Notes. The movie, “She.” This lost realm is ruled by Ayesha (Ursula Andress), who is also known as "She-Who-Waits" and "She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed." Ayesha is an immortal queen and high priestess who believes Leo is the reincarnation of her former lover, the priest Kallikrates (whom she killed when she found him in an intimate embrace with another woman about two thousand years before). Ayesha tries to convince Leo to walk into a ceremonial fire after it has turned blue, which happens once certain astronomical conditions have occurred. It will only remain in this condition for a short period and only happens on certain rare occasions. By entering the fire, Leo himself will become immortal.

ANNOUNCER: Welcome back to Saturday Night Live! And now, as a special treat on our first show, musical guest Andy Kaufman! [Applause. A record begins to play.]
Mister Trouble never hangs around
When he hears this Mighty sound:
"Here I come to save the day!"
That means that Mighty Mouse is on the way!
Yes sir, when there is a wrong to right
Mighty Mouse will join the fight
On the sea or on the land
He gets the situation well in hand
So though we are in danger
We never despair
'Cause we know that where there's danger
He is there!
He is there! On the land! On the sea! In the air!
We're not worryin' at all
We're just listenin' for his call:
"Here I come to save the day!"
That means that Mighty Mouse is on the way!
GEORGE: You know, you show a lot of promise, and, um, my concern is that I don't know where to book you. Uh, you're not a stand-up, and, uh, your act doesn't exactly translate itself to films, so ... so help me! Where do you see yourself?
ANDY: Well, I've always wanted to play Carnegie Hall.
GEORGE: Ha! Hee! You're insane! But you might also be brilliant.
