Not metaphysics even though metaphysics is also necessary for science. Thus the article starts out wrong and probably stays wrong for that reason if not for a mountain of useless(?) verbiage. We might be able to say the same about epistemology--in fact we can. Rand's ITOE may be needed for philosophy, but little of it makes the transition into scientific methodology.
