You are approaching Turkish airspace. Change your heading south immediately." Most of the audio is garbled and barely comprehensible but the tone of the voice gets more agitated as the warnings appear to go unnoticed.The audio that was released only involved Turkish warnings, no replies by a Russian pilot. No credible news source links Putin to gangsters or Syrian oil shipments to Turkey. You have the facts confused re bombing ISIS refineries and up to 1000 trucks to smuggle Syrian oil to Turkey. The U.S. did not (and didn't want to) bomb ISIS oil infrastructure. Russia did it as soon as they had operational air force at Latakia. Turkey is an open corridor for ISIS recruits, arms trade, vehicles, and ammo supply, at least some of it coming from CIA and pro-West Arabia. The prize in Syria is a gas pipeline from Qatar and Saudi Arabia through Turkey to Western Europe, to break the Russian monopoly. It's about bigger stuff than corrupt Turkish officials paying ISIS half-price $20 bbl for Syrian oil, which is pretty much kaput, because Russia has bombed them to bits. In my own search of news stories I saw Russia accusing the president of Turkey and his family of receiving ISIS oil money and the story about Putin not wanting his oil and money pipeline stopped, so he was against hitting the trucks. Add on to that that the fact that he is not seriously targeting ISIS and he is a very suspicious character.I have also read two books where Putin has called on the Russian Mafia to do his bidding and if you remember that very graphic and real video showing a Russian hit on a political opponent. Christ almighty. The hitman was ordered to cause brain damage using a hammer but not to kill the guy, as a reminder to the opposition.We shall see if Putin is serious about killing the enemy of his enemy which is US. But what else could Obama do when IS claims the attack in San Bernadino? The pressure to "do something" and to escalate and escalate again will be immense. Every presidential candidate will demand that Obama sends an army division or two to destroy IS. The way through Syria is closed. The Iraqis will not allow more U.S. troops on their ground. Several Shia militia in Iraq have announced that they will attack any additional U.S. forces. Using the Kurdish areas in Iraq to attack IS would be very dangerous as supplies would have to go through treacherous Turkey, which is secretly allied with IS, and pass through areas where the Turks and the Kurdish PKK are fighting each other. Going through Jordan and from there to Anbar province in Iraq would enrage the many IS followers in Jordan and destroy that state too. But Obama and the people around him are too presumptuous to take such a step. They can not admit that they were wrong all along and that Assad and Putin were right.
