Trump Music

I keep coming across original music for Donald Trump's candidacy, so I decided to collect some of it in a thread.

Let's start with "I Wanna Be Like The Donald," written by Ronnie McDowell, James Ducker and Stacy Hogan, and performed by Tusk.

I'm not a big fan of political music, but I like this one. It captures the spirit of Trump supporters--the productive spirit pundits never talk about. They think we're angry... :)

Now that one works great - lots of potent spot messaging - good beat - good repetition...

There's a country song posted within this article by William W. Savage III on Nondoc dated September 26, 2015.

As of now, it's only in mp3 version.

The song is by Justin Jackson and is called "The Trump Train," or “The Trump Train will make America great again.” It's unclear which in the article.

I like it.

Here's a cute little song from some young folks (who don't identify themselves, instead they use the moniker "Donald Trump"):

Not great, but not bad. I found it good enough to make the cut for this thread. (It's more a demo than a final production, but still cute...)

btw - I have been weeding out the irredeemably bad stuff, including Karaoke, poorly performed music, lame songs, etc., and Trump-bashing efforts.

The thing I find fascinating on this thread so far is the sheer variety. These folks come from all walks of life and demographics and they are all inspired enough by Donald Trump to create the best music they can to promote him.

It's a hell of a mirror.

Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider talks about how to feel confident when pitching, how to grab an audience’s attention and keep it, and what he learned from Donald Trump about branding:

Trump has been using the Twisted Sister hit ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ as his musical battle cry. I assume you approve?

He called and he asked, which I appreciated. I said, ‘Look, we don’t see eye to eye on everything—there are definitely issues that we’re far apart on.’ But thinking back to when I wrote the song and what the song is about, it’s about rebellion, speaking your mind and fighting the system. If anybody’s doing that, he sure is. Trump and Bernie Sanders are the two extremes. They’re raising holy hell and shaking everything up. That’s what ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ is about. And we’re friends. I have spent time with Donald and his family. I don’t think either of us expected that we would like each other, but you know, Donald Trump is a pretty chill guy. He’s a frontman. When that camera goes on, he furls his brow, he does his thing. Off-camera he’s very self-deprecating. He makes jokes about being too orange and about his hair.

"Those who are blind and just can't see..."

It is that simple...

Something that Ayn, Nathaniel and Barbara just could not fathom...

They used "Gutenberg marketing" in a rapidly changing advertising/propaganda medium...

Television, McLuhan and the rapid digitization of information just out distanced the NBI marketing plan.
