Michael Yeah, Obama's thing was that we had to settle for "the new normal" of high unemployment, low wages, and low GDP. Those good jobs were never coming back. And lowering taxes and eliminating regulations was supposed to result in horrors! People were GOING TO DIE if any little bit of government power and control was reduced. Trump's proposed solutions, as a candidate, were mocked as backward. They were going to have the effect of making everything much worse. But we're supposed to forget all of those statement.
