Just a comment on impeachment over the weekend.

The magician's trick is to get you to look at one hand while the other does the magic trick. When you see the result, it's too late to see it doing the trick.

The press is screaming about impeachment blah blah blah.

Meanwhile Burr and Durham sally forth.

When they unload and the indictments fly, people all over the place are going to wonder how the hell that happened.

That's even good storytelling.

President Trump: “Shifty Adam Schiff will only release doctored transcripts. We haven’t even seen the documents and are restricted from (get this) having a lawyer. Republicans should put out their own transcripts! Schiff must testify as to why he MADE UP a statement from me, and read it to all!” 6:20 AM - 11 Nov 2019 end quote

Rush is on a roll. Rush keeps noting eight different pictures of The Whistle Blower. However only one of them is the real blow-hard. But the eight guys are rail thin, mustached, highly educated, vegan/tofu eating, chick-ified, lefties.

Snow storm on the way? I would truly like the whole truth to come out, including indictments and forced testimony from Schiff who may have orchestrated and lied about this entire impeachment charade. Peter

Notes. Trump Claims Schiff ‘Will Only Release Doctored Transcripts’ By Tobias Hoonhout November 11, 2019 10:17 AM. end quote

DB Daily Update, Nov. 10. Closed up for brevity. And just like that, stuff got real. – That squeaky noise you heard early Thursday evening was the sound of sphincters tightening in unison all over the DC Swamp. That was when news leaked that Attorney General William Barr has authorized U.S. Attorney John Durham to shift gears. What has to this point been an administrative inquiry into the origins of the Obama-era efforts by the coup cabal to spy on the Trump Campaign and Transition team will now become a full criminal inquiry. As the New York Times reluctantly reported, the move gives Durham and his team of prosecutors and investigators “the power to subpoena for witness testimony and documents, to convene a grand jury and to file criminal charges.”

It’s actually even better than that, enough to make the Deep State toadies at the Times and the rest of the fake news media want to cry.  Durham can in fact convene not just one grand jury, but as many grand juries as he wants and needs to convene. Better yet, because Durham is based in Connecticut, his grand juries can be convened there, outside of the 90% Democrat snake pit of Washington, DC. Naturally, the Times, in its role as the chief propaganda organ for the Deep State, structured its story on the talking points of the Coup Cabal’s prevailing narrative. Here are the key outtakes:

The opening of a criminal investigation is likely to raise alarms that Mr. Trump is using the Justice Department to go after his perceived enemies. Mr. Trump fired James B. Comey, the F.B.I. director under whose watch agents opened the Russia inquiry, and has long assailed other top former law enforcement and intelligence officials as partisans who sought to block his election.

Mr. Trump has made clear that he sees the typically independent Justice Department as a tool to be wielded against his political enemies. That view factors into the impeachment investigation against him, as does his long obsession with the origins of the Russia inquiry. This is all the standard nonsense. Trump has upset the DC Swamp way of doing things by being a Republican President who actually fights back when attacked. The Times and their fellow media toadies demand that Republican presidents remain silent and just take it when the DC Swamp and its propaganda machine rises to assault them. Of course President Trump fired the utterly corrupt James Comey when he found out that Comey had spied on him and was still attempting to entrap him. Of course President Trump has lambasted Comey, Brennan and other former “top law enforcement officials,” since he knows that they were the leaders of Spygate and the neverending coup. Sure, George W. Bush and his Poppy never pushed back when the Swamp attacked – they were part of the Swamp themselves, as was Nixon.

The final 15 or so paragraphs of the slimy Times piece is a point-by-point recital of the coup plotters’ preferred narrative, no doubt dictated personally the lead plotters themselves. If it sounds like a story that was written by the Cabal’s defense lawyers, that’s because it most likely was. You should read it just to become familiar with what you’re going to hear from Democrat talking heads and fake hosts all over cable television in the coming weeks. They will all recite passages from these paragraphs word-for-word, like the sock puppets they really are.

You can also expect the media/Democrat effort to smear Barr, which has already been underway for months, to now shift into high gear, and expand to also include Durham. The Deep State’s Alinsky-based model always requires the character assassination of anyone who rises as a threat, so that’s a given. Interestingly, the news about this becoming a criminal investigation came right on the heels of DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz telling congress in a letter Thursday afternoon that he is finally, at long last, entering the final phases of getting his report on FISA abuse ready for public release. Horowitz had announced the completion of his report on September 13, and apparently has waited all the time since for the internal DOJ/FBI classification review to be completed.

As reported by the Washington Examiner, “Horowitz said the process is “ongoing” and “consistent with our usual practice when an OIG report involves classified information.” The inspector general said he expects the final report to “be released publicly with few redactions” and does not “anticipate a need to prepare and issue separate classified and public versions of the report.”

Horowitz also said that the report is “lengthy” and “concerns sensitive national security and law enforcement matters,” which could mean a lot of different things. And hey, after taking all this absurd amount of time to complete, the damn thing had better be “lengthy.”

It is also interesting to note that both of these announcements come right on cue, as the Deep State’s favorite fake news organizations have been mounting a furious drive to preach the Coup Cabal’s gospel on a daily basis, as we have detailed this week at the Campaign Update. Obviously, the Brennans and Comeys and Clappers and Strzoks of the world know what’s coming and are doing their best to set their narrative in place before the actual truth starts coming out and indictments start flying.

At least, we hope indictments will ultimately start flying. The wheels of justice do turn slowly when the process is meticulously followed, but man, this has been like waiting for a family of turtles to cross I-10 in Houston during rush hour traffic.

Who knows what it will all ultimately produce, but as of this morning, there’s some reason to hope that at least some of the Coup Cabal plotters will ultimately face justice for their betrayals of this country. That is all.

What’s going on? Oh yeah. It’s the American system of checks and balances in action. I think the Democrats get very emotional about something that is trivial, because that is all they’ve got politically and legally. With no experience and less talent, how does a twerp like Hunter Biden get on the board of a foreign business? Is it in any way possible that he is dirty? Did sonny and VP Biden have some sort of “scratch my back” scheme going? Did Ukraine investigate at all? I think those are legitimate questions for The Commander In Chief to ask, that need to be answered. It may not be a coincidence that Joe Biden is running, but the questionable activity is in the past. So, where are the investigative journalists looking for a story? How sad. They leave it up to The President to ask the obvious. Peter

“God Bless the U.S.A.” by Lee Greenwood

If tomorrow all I had was gone,
All I'd hope to see
And I had to start again
With just my friends and family

I'd thank my lucky stars,
To be livin' here today.
Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
And they can't take that away.

And I'm proud to be an American,
Where at least I know I'm free.
And I won’t forget the men who died,
Who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
Next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota,
To the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.

From Detroit down to Houston,
And New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
And it’s time we stand and say.

That I'm proud to be an American,
Where at least I know I'm free.
And I won’t forget the men who died,
Who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
Next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA . . . .

From Rasmussen. Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Billionaire Michael Bloomberg has a way to go if he wants to claim next year’s Democratic presidential nomination. Rasmussen Reports matched Bloomberg against the three current Democratic front-runners, and just 10% of Likely Democratic Voters think the former Republican New York City mayor would make the better candidate against President Trump in 2020. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds former Vice President Joe Biden leading the pack of four with 39% of the Democratic vote. Avowed socialist Bernie Sanders, a U.S. senator from Vermont, gets 23%, followed by Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, another big government advocate, with 19%. Ten percent (10%) are undecided. Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Democrats really don’t like America and think it’s time to move on from the culture that got us here. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 38% of Likely Democratic Voters believe American society is generally fair and decent. Fifty-one percent (51%) say it’s unfair and discriminatory. By comparison, 74% of Republicans and unaffiliated voters by a 49% to 36% margin view American society as fair and decent. Tuesday, November 12, 2019. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 44% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) disapprove.  The latest figures include 31% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 44% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13.

I am watching "live" the acting ambassador to Ukraine, who is also the former ambassador under Bush and Obama, as he testifies at The House. His testimony is very "concerning." He has extensive notes about his dealings with President Trump and the Ukraine. The House investigators have Ambassador Taylor's emails and other communications with Ukraine since June 2019. He is telling the truth as he speaks, verified by those former communications. Peter

The following video is the essence of the impeachment hearing today in a nutshell.

I mean, go ahead and watch reruns online if you do not get suicidal from acute boredom and like pissing away the precision minutes and hours of your life over trivialities.

At least the video below is short and entertaining and shows exactly how little the Dems have.

The following quote by Jordan from this video will probably be my favorite quote from the entire impeachment hearings.

Quote

We got six people having four conversations in one sentence, and you just told me this is where you got your clear understanding.

What's worse, this is an accurate statement of fact.

LOL...

Well, there's this, too. Adam Schiff said, in the hearing, he did not know who the whistleblower was. This is the same name he keeps trying to punish others for saying.

This is such an in-your-face lie, Carpe Donktum made a meme out of it (the audio is accurate, though).

CD is damn good at what he does, but this meme is just not that funny.

It's like trying to make fun of a cowpile for being a cowpile.

At least it doesn't make Schiff look dignified while he's letting loose a big dripping sloppy one...

Has anybody seen the news today?

Today--with no hearing--is supposed to be the spin day for the anti-Trump press to amplify yesterday's bombshells in the impeachment hearing. Then we get another hearing day tomorrow.

But today, it seems like the press is awfully interested in other stuff. Not too much about the hearing yesterday.

What happened?

  :)

Oh well...

Maybe they'll get him dang gammit next time...

bleep bleep...

I just had a thought.

Why are the coup insider Dems and fake news media so worried about protecting the so-called whistleblower's life?

If the whistleblower appears before Congress, will his life be in any more danger than anyone else who appears before Congress for the impeachment hearings?

Maybe a little, but where would the threat come from?

President Trump has no history of violence and no string of dead bodies following him. Granted, some people on the right are dangerous, but normal protection for high-profile people seems to work at keeping them under control.

But what happens if we flip this thing?

What if the Dems (or ruling class elitist cronies in general) want to kill the whistleblower and blame it on Trump?

Woah...

Now I can see the poor sucker's life in danger for real. In fact, after Epstein's murder (that some are calling a suicide), if kill him is what they want, kill him is what they will do--with likely success.

Added to that, I can think of at least one Dem with presidential aspirations who has quite a long dead body list following her...

Hmmmmm...

For some reason, the Democrats have called former Ambassador to the Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, as a witness in their coup/impeachment hearing. Oddly enough, she did not witness anything relevant to what the Dems say President Trump did. Why? Because she had been fired and well gone by the time it happened.

She did witness being fired, though. She has been quite vocal about condemning that in the hearing.

And that's about all.

For fun, here's a line many people are tweeting at this moment. In my own feed alone, I must have seen about 30 and it's not even 10:30 AM yet.

Also, I make these words my own here on OL:

I hired Donald Trump to fire people like Yovanovitch.

President Trump couldn't push Rispone over the finish line in Louisiana. However, Trump did pull Rispone out of obscurity and put him within a point or two of winning.

The anti-Trumpers are trying to make fun of this fact, but they are looking at it and sweating. If President Trump can do all that for a nobody within a short amount of time under very hostile conditions, imagine what he will be doing for underdog Republicans running during the 2020 election when he has the full machine pumping behind him.

President Trump wants a majority Congress, both houses. I have no doubt he will get that message across to his base and get them fired up about it enough to do some real damage to the Dems.

(btw - I don't rule out voting fraud in Louisiana.)

No wonder he loves tariffs so much, Congress can’t control spending of that revenue, Trump does.

The Chinese tried to assert leverage by trying  to hurt our farmers by suddenly ceasing purchases. Trump suddenly imposed  new tariffs on Chinese goods coming into America and hands those tariff proceeds to our farmers. Our farmers still get their revenue, we keep the food. Going up against Trump looks like a very frustrating process.

Our great Farmers will recieve another major round of “cash,” compliments of China Tariffs, prior to Thanksgiving. The smaller farms and farmers will be big beneficiaries. In the meantime, and as you may have noticed, China is starting to buy big again. Japan deal DONE. Enjoy!

From Wikipedia, “Gladiator.” In AD 180, Hispano-Roman General Maximus Decimus Meridius intends to return to his home after he leads the Roman army to victory against the Germanic tribes near Vindobona on the Limes Germanicus . . . Maximus is arrested by the Praetorian Guard and is told that he and his family will die . . . Although reluctant at first, Maximus fights in local tournaments and befriends two other gladiators . . His military skills help him win matches and gain recognition from other gladiators and the crowd . . . Disguised by a masked helmet, Maximus debuts in gladiatorial combat in the Colosseum as a Carthaginian in a re-enactment of the Battle of Zama. Unexpectedly, Maximus leads his side to victory, and Commodus enters the Colosseum to offer his congratulations. He orders the disguised Maximus, as leader of the gladiators, to show himself and give his name; Maximus reveals himself and declares vengeance . . . .

President Trump is “seriously considering” stepping forward to testify at his own impeachment hearings. Would that be a smart move? He is pretty quick on his feet . . . and he is in the right and has the truth and reason on his side . . . but they will have weeks or more, to bring in their leftist experts on how to discombobulate and anger a witness. Their choice of questions will be stacked and amended as the hearing goes on, to make Trump look BAD. Should Maximus step into the coliseum? Peter

There's a story going around that the food taster for President Trump suddenly got sick enough to land in Walter Reed Hospital. As gravy, Trump made an impromptu stop at Walter Reed Hospital, maybe to visit him.

I don't have verification on this. When I do, I will go deeper. For now, it looks like there is a possibility that someone tried to poison the president.

Brant,

Slow-acting poison.

The idea is to make it look like a legitimate disease.

btw - I'm giving plausibility credence to this story because I read Poisoner in Chief: Sidney Gottlieb and the CIA Search for Mind Control by Stephen Kinzer. Gottleib himself cataloged a huge number of poisons for the CIA that could be used against targets and his staff invented many forms of delivery, some quite clever. That was back in the 50's and 60's.

Imagine now.

Here is one guy who is signing on.

John McAfee is colorful and unconventional (my kind of guy :) ), but he did invent the McAfee antivirus and has more money than he will ever need from constantly investing in cutting edge technology, currently a variation of blockchain technology for cryptocurrency and contracts. He's very libertarian (even more than most libertarians), likes him some party drugs, and married a prostitute he once hired. He's well married, too. From what I've seen, she would kill for him.

Let's see if it's true that elements in the CIA (or other part of the Deep State) are trying to poison President Trump.

This Impeachment Hoax is setting a bad precedent for our country. Each day these hearings prove what we’ve known all along: THIS IS A POLITICAL HIT JOB. The Democrats know that what they are doing is very wrong. They’re putting Americans through a second week of these baseless Witch Hunt Hearings when we all know how it’s going to end. I DID NOTHING WRONG. Plain and simple. Nervous Nancy and Shifty Schiff know they have nothing on me. This all goes back to their HATRED for me, and their HATRED FOR YOU. We’ve got to do something. To show that our movement is growing in strength and in numbers I’m setting an unprecedented goal.

There’s never been a better time to make your FIRST EVER DONATION and tell the Left you stand with YOUR President. I want to get 100,000 donors by MIDNIGHT TONIGHT to show them just how STRONG our movement is despite their nasty LIES. end quote

This is the official reelection site: contact@victory.donaldtrump.com

I just gave 20 bucks though I had not planned on donating until 2020. Peter

I was wrong. I wrote in May, 2016, about 5 months before the last election. “Politically, Rand worked for Wendell Wilkie and Barry Goldwater but was it her age or accumulated bitterness that kept her from supporting Ronald Reagan? I remember the vitriol then and now from people who despise religiosity in a candidate but I thought she was wrong then.

So did she ever support Reagan or is he one of the guys she told Objectivists to skip voting for? I know she would not have voted for the Democrat. Peter.

Here is an interesting essay from the Atlas Society, and Ed Hudgins. Go to his named site on OL and reread it. Does it not also apply to President Trump? Peter
