Thank you to Kanye West and the fact that he is willing to tell the TRUTH. One new and great FACT - African American unemployment is the lowest ever recorded in the history of our Country. So honored by this. Thank you Kanye for your support. It is making a big difference!

Canada will have to wait. (Until after the removal of their little pedo Prime Minister.)

Deal with Mexico is coming along nicely. Autoworkers and farmers must be taken care of or there will be no deal. New President of Mexico has been an absolute gentleman. Canada must wait. Their Tariffs and Trade Barriers are far too high. Will tax cars if we can’t make a deal!

Omarosa tells NPR she heard the Trump N-Word tape:

https://www.npr.org/2018/08/10/636955054/omarosa-tells-npr-she-heard-trump-n-word-tape-contradicting-her-own-tell-all-boo

"Hearing it changed everything for me," former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman told NPR on Friday.

Manigault Newman was referring to what she calls the "N-word tape" — a long-rumored but never surfaced tape of Donald Trump on the set of The Apprentice allegedly using the racial slur. In her interview with NPR's Rachel Martin, Manigault Newman claims to have heard the tape and heard Trump using that slur on the tape.

But that's not what it says in her tell-all book, Unhinged, due out on Tuesday.

When asked by Martin about the discrepancy during the interview,

[...]

"I heard the tape," she said when pressed.

[...]

________

So does this Trump N-Word tape exist?

If it does, my bet is we'll all get to hear it during the 2020 Presidential Election run...

Korben,

I doubt it. (If something comes out, you can bet top forensics experts will be all over it to see if it is a fake montage, which I have no doubt it will be.)

Just by Omarosa saying this tape exists and she heard it, but kept working for (and with) Trump over the years, she's selling herself as a "Token Negro" who sold out for money and fame.

That's never been her style, so I don't think this is going to take. It's a publicity stunt aimed at ginning up the dreams and anxieties of the Trump hating media. Omarosa is a cutthroat opportunist and has always sold herself as such. I think Trump kept her around because he likes raw ambition.

However, I have no doubt Omarosa's monkey-business with Haiti will become mainstream shortly. Especially if law enforcement officials get interested. Also, she was a total dud in her outreach to black community role. So I expect this to arise in the mainstream as well.

Does Stone Cold Truth get at the gist? WHY IS OMAROSA HELPING THE CLINTON’S RAPE OF HAITI? (from February 2017)

Quote

By Roger Stone

A reliable source just told me that President Trump is sending an official White House delegation to Haiti on Monday. It looks like they may be going to attend the February 7th inauguration of Clinton puppet, money laundering parting gift to Haiti – the newly selected, “fraudulently elected” Jovenel Moise, already under investigation for money laundering.

These are the same criminals that helped the Clinton’s RAPE of Haiti in the aftermath of the earthquake. This is the puppet government of the cronies Bill and Hillary Clinton, and this is about stealing the island nations, gas, oil, and minerals. These are the same Clinton cronies and donors who stole most of US and international earthquake money through rich, no bid contracts, but built little housing.

It would be sad if this happens. Sad, that Haiti gets saddled again with a Clinton Foundation and Haiti billionaire oligarchy president that is tied to former Tonton Makout, Michel Martelly- who will rule from behind Jovenel Moise. Haitian-American supporters of Trump fear the worst, that Trump will let the corruption continue with this electoral coup d’état.

And who arranged for a White House delegation to Haiti but Omarosa Manigault of “Apprentice” fame, now serving on the White House staff. Does Omarosa not know the facts- or is it something worse?

My research shows that Omarosa traveled to Haiti in 2007 with the Haiti Support Project, which is Ron Daniels’s organization. Ron Daniels is a Democratic political operative. Daniels is most likely the man who directed the rigging of two elections for the billionaire’s front man, Jovenel Moise.

Re the 'tape' that either was or wasn't heard, I am skeptical.  What better way to profit from a painful experience (getting hustled out of the White House upon being fired) than to write a 'bombshell' book of vengence?  My initial assay is "trash-talk" ... and 'unproved' for the accusation of racialism.  But at the same time, she was in there ... untrustworthy narrator becomes a Story Warrior? Add to the pile of false and salacious 'insider' yip yap? Does she lie, spin, misinform on every remembered White House event ... ?

Another person with a book just out is Rick Wilson, longtime ad-maker and strategist on various GOP campaigns.  His new book is Number One on some Amazon list. It's called "Everything Trump Touches Dies: A Republican Strategist Gets Real About the Worst President Ever."

The first reviews are scathing ...

Rick admits that he and other Republicans “didn’t see that there is a deep strain in American political life that isn’t seeking party rigor or ideological purity or even an independent iconoclast but the safe reinforcement of the pack of people just as pissed off as they are. We underestimated the deep human psychological need to be part of a movement based not on hope but on channeling the comments section of the nuttiest blogs. That’s what Trump gave them. He was an avatar for their anger, their impotence, and their blamestorming for everything wrong in their world.”

It’s harsh. And it will undoubtedly cause Trump’s core supporters to dig in even more, but at this point, what difference does that make? Those loyal to Trump — accepting all his obvious faults and unforced errors, incapable of acknowledging the slightest flaw — are not coming back to any form of traditional conservative thinking. At least not now, in the throes of Trump passion.

I asked Rick in an interview why he wrote the book. Liberals like me don’t need convincing and many in his own party have already bent the knee to Trump.

“I want people to be able to go back in a year and a half or so and say, ‘Oh, that’s how this happened,’” he said. “I wanted to lay down a marker and say, ‘It’s OK that you’ve been scammed. It’s OK that you’ve been conned. Here’s the evidence about how it happened and why you shouldn’t do it again.’”

He continued: “I also wanted to remind Republicans that you can be a party of decency and humanity and still be a conservative. I want people to have some reminder that you don’t have to live this way. Nothing’s forcing you to do this other than inertia and partisan policy reflex.”

The book doesn’t spare the liberal crowd, with Rick dissecting (quite accurately, I think) the Democratic Party’s political failings and highlighting politicians and political operatives every bit as calculating as him on the left.

He gives one of the most candid assessments of the cynicism of modern-day political tactics I’ve read, readily acknowledging the part he played in feeding and nurturing the more rabid elements of the Republican base that metastasized into Trump’s slavish supporters.

In our interview he said: “I had to do a kind of tough assessment on this thing, and I did. … Starting back with Sarah Palin, we built a system to turn on these people, to feed this endless stream that the liberals are trying to kill you, they’re coming for you. … We built a set of persuasion tools that persuaded these people, and the arrogance of our position was, ‘Well, we’re all responsible adults; we’ll motivate these people during the election” and then calm things down after.

“What we never anticipated was that somebody else would grab that tool box. But the Russians and Trump sure did, and they ran wild with it.”

You don't bat an eye at Venezuela. You make excuses for it, and shift the blame. You eventually justify and rationalize holodomor. Your implied snark that anyone would want you to beg is a lie. The "gulchers" wouldn't want any power over you. They don't want you to be dependent on them. They don't take pleasure in your weakness, laziness and dependence. Perhaps you can't imagine someone having the mindset of not wanting power over others, not wanting to control them and take from them, and not wanting to humiliate them and make them beg, but we do exist.

What a difference a day makes ...

On 1/29/2016 at 2:43 PM, william.scherk said:

Like I said a few posts back here, I am starting to hate my own country. When Mr Trump calls the USA a hellhole, or Brussels a hellhole, I say to him: Sir, you have no idea. Come north to see what a hellhole really looks like. Since Mr Trump is a man of integrity and traditional values of respect and courtesy, he will stick with the routine and make his first foreign trip as President to Ottawa.

I fully expect Trump to turn on Trudeau long before the coronation ball. Canada is, like China, often sitting on the USA's face -- in terms of balance of trade. And NAFTA and other North American integration treaties underway could offer him a great new target. Who doesn't secretly hate Canada in the USA?

I'm not sure that is a licit question, even rhetorically, but I am still awed by a great politician's ability to mediate reality directly person-to-person (the subject covered was the 'raw' ability to persuade). That one of these two has the more consequential job is obvious, but each is able to manipulate conceptual landscapes in ways that we will remember when they are gone. Trudeau's bullshit 'sunny days' demeanor hardly cloaks a determined and ambitious man for whom politics is everything. When he leaves Parliament via electoral defeat in 2019 or later, will he have a job waiting?

Mr Trump will ... or rather, he will have a business empire waiting.

In the meantime, Mr Erdogan learns the value of a hostage. He figured he might trade the suspected 'spy-terrorist' pastor for a huge quarry, Fethullah Gulen (Erdogan's personal demon).  The strongman's insistence on making everything about the honour of himself, the state, the Turkish nation, well ... it paid no dividends outside a spasm of jingoistic nationalism at home.

The seriousness of Turkey's financial crisis due to the Trump sanctions is heightened once you realize Erdogan had seemed to be in himself an engine of economic growth and expansion. Turkey has been 'booming' for a while, even if buoyed by corruption in banking and state expenditures. A rising tide lifts all boats.

The headline is fairly grave:  Erdogan Defiant as Turkey Slides Toward Financial Crisis. From the Fake News Bloomberg:

Quote

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is showing no signs of backing down in a standoff with the U.S. that rattled markets. As investors worry about Turkey sliding toward a full-blown financial crisis, the big question now is how far the pain may spread.

“I call out to those in the United States. It is a shame. You are trading a strategic NATO ally for a pastor,” Erdogan said Saturday during a rally in the Black Sea port of Ordu, referring to the U.S. decision to sanction Turkey for its imprisonment of an American priest. “You cannot tame our people with threats.”

A plunge in the lira on Friday sent tremors through global markets as tensions flared between the NATO allies. At one point, the currency fell as much as 17 percent against the dollar, fanning fears that the financial tumult could infect Europe and faraway emerging markets.

Get with the Trump programme, people.

I remember we use to repeat the mantra that every woman is either “ Betty  or Veronica” or also “ Ginger or Marianne .

I think that every person is either Trump or Hillary , and if not quite there , then on a direct route to one or the other .

Carol , think of me as John Galt , when you’re ready , come to The Gulch ,

No pressure or rush .

You can even bring former Premiere Wynne when/if she ever sees the light .

William,

Take your pick. There's a bunch of felonies Hillary Clinton committed.

If the FBI gets back on the case and actually investigates it instead of doing crap like handing out immunity like candy, destroying evidence, and so on, there are enough felonies left to do the job.

And we don't need any coerced phony "confessions," either. All we need is the law.

Meanwhile, a woman associated with the  brand is still in the headlines.  Who hired this crazy-ass again (file under: Unforeseen Consequences?)?

Ah ...

Apparently, the campaign is seeking an arbitration ruling on the nasty, nasty book's contentions -- since the dog signed a non-disparagement agreement, at least according to the Fake News Washington Times reporter Dave Boyer.

Relatedly, another fake news outlet -- Politico -- under Annie Karni's byline, suggests the staff at the White House is beyond unhappy with the headlines:

‘People are terrified’: Trump staffers live in fear of [Dog Woman]'s next tape | 'Trump aides are suffering from the same type of psychological warfare that gripped Clinton’s campaign during the WikiLeaks'

Quote

[Dog Woman]'s slow release of secretly taped conversations from inside the Trump campaign and White House is having the same effect on staffers as the daily dumps from WikiLeaks had on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, when chairman John Podesta’s emails were trickled out during the final stretch of the race.

“People are terrified,” one former Trump aide said of the tapes. “Absolutely terrified.”

On Tuesday, the fifth day of her one-woman news cycle, [Dog Woman] released a taped conversation from the 2016 campaign, in which former spokeswoman Katrina Pierson and another African-American Trump adviser, Lynne Patton, discussed the possible existence of an N-word tape.

“He’s said it,” Pierson says on the recording. “He’s embarrassed.”

There is not one pertinent felony put on the table to pick from here ... the Bunch List is blank.

Seriously, banter aside, would you assert that Hillary Clinton is going to be locked up? Take your pick: NO |  YES.

To help you out, helpfully, here's a fellow who should know about how "Lock Her Up" works: the Attorney-General of the United States of America ...

Quote

Asked about the incident during a press availability on Thursday, Sessions said, “Well, I met with a group of enthusiastic high-school students, and they enthusiastically broke into that chant.”

“I perhaps should have taken a moment to advise them of the fact of things I mentioned today,” the country’s top law enforcement official added, “that you’re presumed innocent until cases are made.”

Michael Flynn proudly joined the chant from the Republican National Convention stage in July 2016. “You know why we’re saying that?” he asked at the time. “We’re saying that because if I, a guy who knows this business, if I did a tenth, a tenth of what she did, I would be in jail today.” Six months later, the former national security advisor plead guilty to lying to federal investigators.

I figure Michael Flynn is the person much more likely to be "Locked Up" in reality (though perhaps not in the world of Q-illusions). Personal vehicle mileage may differ ...

William,

Maybe.

Hillary Clinton deserves to be locked up, factually, legally and morally. All three cases are easy to find ample evidence for.

But politically, doing so would entail stepping on a hell of a lot of power-toes. So it's a toss-up. Also, if it ever came to that, she would probably sing on her way down to get off easier, or at least there would be powerful people afraid of that. So she might not even make it to jail alive.

I think that the way for lefties to look at it is: If Trump had done any of the things that Hillary did, with which crimes would you want him charged? Just think about how excited and enthusiastic you'd be in precisely identifying, listing, savoring, and arguing in favor of punishments!

Penn's giving his opinion on Trump. I think it's quite reasonable and fair-minded. Typical of Penn.

Penn Jillette claims Trump said 'racially insensitive' comments during 'Celebrity Apprentice'

The above is a surprisingly neutral headline. Non-Fake News!!! Other "news" sources weren't so good. They lied, and made claims in their headlines that the interview doesn't support.
