I don't remember seeing any of those symbols but if they indicate the cops should investigate the people who created  or wore them, then that is the right thing to do.

It almost seems British, or from the dark ages, to have secret handshakes, allusions in private conversations, and to wear symbols of evil doing.

I remember back in the early seventies, articles in the local San Francisco newspaper, on the back page, had stories about and for homos. (No derision implied by the shortening.) I remember several times reading about different ways they "identified themselves" in speech and looks, without drawing attention from the people who might harm or arrest them for indecencies. Sorry, I don't remember any of the particulars. I am glad those bad old days are gone.

As I have mentioned before, Rehoboth Beach Delaware which is near where I live is now considered an east cost, 'gay mecca'. People in the city government are openly gay. Occasionally there are "hate crimes" there, and I think the last one I heard about was a guy beat up by out of state teenage boys. I guess he was acting too swishy and that identified him as a potential victim to those guys.

That is astonishing. Thanks Jon. Behaviors that can cause a kid, later in life to be screwed up enough to become addicts or to kill themselves, needs a remedy and if the answer is chemical or physical castration, incarceration or the death penalty, I am not opposed. Molestation and the trafficking in kids, is the initiation of force to the nth degree. Thankfully, the world is on the right track.

Zuckerberg just screwed up speaking about the holocaust. Harming children is on a par with the holocaust.

No Peter, deliberately planning and executing the murder of every child in the world, is on a par with the holocaust. A PROVEN,  witnessed,acknowledged by history for woeful decades plan and execution illustrated by millions of tortured and burned bodies, would be on a par with the holocaust.

Troy Man Pleads Guilty to Possessing Child Pornography

ALBANY, NEW YORK – Robert P. Halloran, age 27, of Troy, New York, pled guilty today to one count of possession of child pornography, announced United States Attorney Grant C. Jaquith and Charles Margiotta, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Albany Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

As part of his guilty plea, Halloran admitted that from August 2016 through December 2016, he possessed approximately 60 video files containing child pornography that he stored in a Dropbox account.  The video files depicted the sexual exploitation of children as young as 5 years old. 

Halloran, who has a prior New York State misdemeanor conviction for Attempted Possession of an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child, has been in custody since his arrest on April 13, 2017.  He is scheduled to be sentenced on November 15, 2018, and faces at least 10 years and up to 20 years in prison, at least 5 years and up to lifetime post-imprisonment supervised release, and a maximum $250,000 fine.  Halloran will also have to register as a sex offender when he is released from prison.  A defendant’s sentence is imposed by a judge based on the particular statute the defendant is charged with violating, the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, and other factors.

This case was investigated by FBI, with assistance from the New York State Police, and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph A. Giovannetti.

Ballston Spa Man Pleads Guilty to Child Pornography Charges

ALBANY, NEW YORK – Jason Novoa, age 37, of Ballston Spa, New York, pled guilty yesterday to one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography, announced United States Attorney Grant C. Jaquith and Charles Margiotta, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Albany Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

As part of his guilty plea, Novoa admitted that, over a period of at least five years, he used a laptop computer equipped with peer-to-peer file-sharing software to download videos and images depicting child pornography.  Novoa further admitted that between June 9 and June 13, 2017, he made available for download over 800 images of child pornography. Novoa possessed approximately 30 video files and 310 image files depicting child pornography on June 29, 2017, when the laptop was seized by investigators pursuant to a federal search warrant executed at his residence.

Sentencing is scheduled for November 15, 2018, in Albany, New York.

Novoa faces a minimum term of imprisonment of five (5) years on the charge of receipt of child pornography and a maximum term of imprisonment of twenty (20) years on both counts.The Court is also required to impose a term of supervised release between five (5) years and life, and Novoa will be required to register as a sex offender. A defendant’s sentence is imposed by a judge based on the particular statute the defendant is charged with violating, the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other factors.

This case was investigated by the FBI and the New York State Police, and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Emmet O’Hanlon.

Kansas Man Convicted of Producing Child Pornography 

A Lindsborg, Kansas man who traveled to the Philippines and had sex with minor females there pleaded guilty to three counts of production of child pornography. 

Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and U.S. Attorney Stephen R. McAllister of the District of Kansas made the announcement.

Anthony Shultz, 55, helicopter pilot, was charged by complaint in July 2016 and pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Eric F. Melgren of the District of Kansas. Sentencing is scheduled for December 6, 2018.

According to admissions made in conjunction with the guilty plea, Shultz engaged in sex acts with minor females in the Philippines.  He videotaped his sexual encounters with two minors and transported the videos to his home in Kansas.  One of the girls was only 12 years old at the time; the other was 15 years old.  In one of the videos, Shultz is seen giving the 15-year-old money after having sex with her.  Shultz also produced child pornography of an 8-year-old girl in the Philippines by communicating on Skype with the child’s mother and directing the mother to expose the child’s genitals and live-stream it on web camera.  

The FBI investigated the case. Trial Attorney Lauren E. Britsch of the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS) and Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Hart of the District of Kansas prosecuted the case.

Anchorage Man Sentenced for Distribution of Child Pornography

Anchorage, Alaska – U.S. Attorney Bryan Schroder announced that Ronald Teekell, 53, of Anchorage, was sentenced today by Chief U.S. District Judge Timothy M. Burgess, to serve 97 months in prison, followed by a life term of supervised release, for the distribution of child pornography.   

According to court documents, Teekell was first brought to law enforcement’s attention in 2009 when law enforcement received a report that child pornography was being distributed from the open wireless at Jewel Lake Bowl.  Teekell became the subject of a federal investigation when law enforcement received child pornography from Teekell’s computer in 2014, and again in 2016.  The investigation revealed that Teekell had previously used computers located at both Jewel Lake Bowl and the adjacent Storite Storage companies to receive, access, and distribute images of child sexual exploitation as early as 2009.

Specifically, in November 2014, an FBI Special Agent working in an undercover capacity received hundreds of images and videos depicting child sexual exploitation from an IP address assigned to Jewel Lake Bowl.  Additionally, in May 2016, an APD Detective observed a suspect device distributing hundreds of images and videos of child sexual exploitation by means of an online file-sharing network.  The IP address in this instance was assigned to Teekell’s home address, rather than the business accounts at either Jewel Lake Bowl or Storite Storage.  Both companies are partially owned and operated by Teekell.  

In August 2016, APD and FBI executed search warrants at Teekell’s residence, workplace, and storage unit.  A subsequent analysis of Teekell’s devices revealed corroborating evidence of his distribution of images of child sexual exploitation between 2009 and 2016. 

Pursuant to a plea agreement in this case, Teekell admitted to knowingly receiving, possessing, and distributing more than 500 images and videos depicting child sexual exploitation during the relevant periods.  He also agreed to forfeit his ownership in Jewel Lake Bowl and associated entities.   

At the sentencing hearing, Judge Burgess noted that offenses related to child pornography are extremely serious and that the abuse depicted “haunts the victims” for their entire lives.  Judge Burgess stated that there was “no doubt” in his mind that Mr. Teekell’s predilection for child pornography had been a long running addiction.

The Anchorage Police Department (APD), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) conducted the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of this case.  This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Adam Alexander.

Pinellas Park Babysitter Sentenced For Producing Child Pornography Of Infant

Tampa, Florida – U.S. District Judge Charlene E. Honeywell today sentenced Robert Joseph Ware (27, Pinellas Park) to 23 years in federal prison for producing   child pornography. Ware had pleaded guilty on December 20, 2017.  

According to court documents, on December 10, 2011, Ware produced three images of child pornography depicting him sexually abusing an infant that he had been babysitting. He sent the images via text message to an individual in New York. The investigation and prosecution of the individual in New York revealed the child pornography produced by Ware. When federal agents arrested Ware on May 9, 2017, he had 90 images of child pornography on his cellphone.

This case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer L. Peresie.

“Only the worst depraved criminal would produce child pornography with an infant left in his care,” said HSI Tampa Special Agent in Charge James C. Spero. “This egregious crime reminds us all to remain vigilant in the protection of our children.”

Convicted Sex Offender Sentenced To More Than 27 Years In Prison For Distributing Child Pornography 

Ocala, Florida – U.S. District Judge Roy B. Dalton today sentenced Michael Philip Auld (31, Ocala) to 27 years and 3 months in federal prison for distributing child pornography. Following the prison sentence, Auld, a registered sex offender, must serve a lifetime on federal supervised release. The court also ordered him to forfeit a cellphone he had used in the commission of the crime. Auld pleaded guilty on April 3, 2018. 

According to court documents, on October 23, 2016, Auld distributed images of child pornography over the internet using his cellphone. At the time of the offense, he was serving a life term of supervised release on another federal child pornography conviction. Acting on a tip from an internet service provider, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at Auld’s home on January 11, 2018. Investigators seized electronic devices from Auld’s bedroom, including the cellphone. Auld had been using the phone to receive, possess, and distribute hundreds of images of child pornography since at least 2016. In saved internet conversations on the phone, Auld also graphically described his fantasies of sexually assaulting a young girl and an infant. 

“This serial predator has proven he will prey on children at every opportunity,” said Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Tampa Special Agent in Charge James C. Spero. “While already on probation for child pornography, he continued his pattern of abuse, which has ended thanks to HSI special agents, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and the prosecution team.”

This case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Robert E. Bodnar, Jr.

Orlando Man Sentenced To More Than 19 Years For Enticement Of A Minor And Federal Income Tax Fraud

Orlando, Florida – U.S. District Judge Paul G. Byron has sentenced Andy William Bosch (43, Orlando) to 16 years and 8 months in federal prison for enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity and for federal income tax fraud. Bosch pleaded guilty to both charges on March 29, 2018. 

According to court documents, between March 10 and March 16, 2016, Bosch enticed a minor to travel from the Philippines to the United States to engage in sexual activity. Then, from October 20, 2016, to February 15, 2017, he used a cell phone to coerce the same minor to engage in sexual activity.

Furthermore, both independently and as part of his federal tax preparation business (BBG Tax Services), Bosch helped to prepare and file fraudulent federal income tax returns from 2012 to 2017. The losses for the false tax returns charged in the indictment totaled $135,801.          

The enticement case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service, and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. The tax fraud case was investigated by the Internal Revenue Service – Criminal Investigation.

“HSI’s extensive international reach helped stop this criminal in his tracks,” said HSI Special Agent in Charge James C. Spero. “This sentencing underscores the combined efforts of federal, state, and local law enforcement in working to stop predators from harming children.”

Both cases were prosecuted by Special Assistant United States Attorneys Christina R. Downes and Brandon Bayliss, on assignment from the Office of Principal Legal Advisor, ICE, in the Middle District of Florida.

Baker County Man Indicted On Federal Charge Of Failure To Register As A Sex Offender

Jacksonville, Florida – United States Attorney Maria Chapa Lopez announces the return of an indictment charging Joshua Dale Whitt (25, Macclenny) with failing to register as sex offender. If convicted, Whitt faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.

According to the indictment, on or about January 2, 2013, Whitt was convicted of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in Clermont County, Ohio.  Subsequent to his conviction and between January 22, 2018, and May 2, 2018, he traveled from Ohio to Florida and failed to register as a sex offender as required by the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.

The Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act is part of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006. The Adam Walsh Act also provides for the use of federal law enforcement resources, including the United States Marshals Service, to assist state and local authorities in locating and apprehending non-compliant sex offenders. 

This case was investigated by the Baker County Sheriff’s Office, the United States Marshals Service, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. It is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney D. Rodney Brown.

What these images are in a logical context is they are attempting to be linked on properties of the entities they depict, and the rule is that you can't link entities based on properties alone or you'll end up with a distribution error in a syllogism.  An example of this error is a brown haired man and a brown haired horse, the two properties in this case are the same, brown hair, but can anything be deducted about the man and the horse?  No.  Another example is the category of action, an orange haired man is building a building.  His orange hair has nothing to do with him building.

If the images are being presented as an induction, then they are being grouped by a property of each entity.  And for each entity in the group this property needs to be linked back to the entity itself, if not, there is no induction and no valid principle can be formed.  Take the action flowing--flowing water, flowing hair, flowing lava.  Can any principle be formed about these entities?  No.  The most you can say is they all have the property of flowing, they are separate entities that have nothing to do with each other.

I hope you don't take my post the wrong way.  I don't see any deduction or induction with the images you posted.

I used to give money to a third world aid company called, “Plumpy Nut,’ that created jobs for poor African people and as I read about Africa I was appalled to discover how many preteen girls were “forced” to behave sexually and they were mutilated too. Physically, the early age sex caused the little girls problems urinating, for the rest of their lives, unless they had an operation.

That story is a year old, but I feel for the Yazidis. That situation should have never happened. But, fundamentally, the mess, like those poor girls and ladies, is fallout from a very stupid political and military policy.

As to the aftermath, you first have to cut the head off the snakes that are biting the victims if you truly want to solve the problem. So President Trump is actually doing something concrete about this situation, starting with the eradication of ISIS.

It's going to take a while to clean up Obama and Clinton's mess in the Middle East, but I believe it will get done. And I fully believe these people are not forgotten in the plans. After all, ISIS no longer has its caliphate and is in shambles right now.

Here's an idea. While President Trump is doing the heavy lifting, to save a little time, maybe we should turn the problem of these specific Yazidi people over to the Clinton Foundation. They say they're humanitarians. See what they can do about it...
