turkeyfoot
Very TITillating. Beyond that though what is the value premise behind the shocking newer news? A late release almost guarantees a smaller audience through the weekend. Less time for us working schlubs to vet and drill down. The last only mentions Obama 'may" have vetoed legislation. None of it vote changing. I mean even if this witchcraftery occurs O'ist's already maintain a belief that as long as there is no one hurt an individual has rights to do whatever they wish. Its only the criminal element that sways me, and work has been done, for a long time. I couldnt hold a more negative opinion on the Clinton cadre. Signed: already baked, done, stick a fork in it. So is the renegade Washington elector. Hes broken his pledge, his vote dooms future personal electoral aspirations and it wont change the all but certain outcome unless 7 others also want to contemplate retirement. https://www.sos.wa.gov/elections/civics/electoral-college.aspx The electors have pledged to vote for the nominees of their party. The nominees for President and Vice President that receive the most votes in Washington’s 2016 General Election will receive all 12 of Washington's electoral votes and that presidential ticket will send 12 electors to Olympia on December 19th to cast their votes for the nominees. Anything after Tuesday is gratuitous, the links have been posted, trash is available for anyone looking to crawl into the gutter.

Peter, It's going to be hitting the churches in America hard tomorrow. After that it won't be as important persuasion-wise as other stuff. I don't expect to see this on CNN. Here is the "art" of Hillary's secret guru, Marina Abramovic, displaying her cake-baking skills. The audience loves it, too. Is this the way you would spend your time for entertainment and/or aesthetic enlightenment? What does the soul look like of a person who does? Peter
Predictions if Trump wins? FBI director James Comey will explain to President Trump why he was required to act as he did up to the time of the election. And our President will tell us what he can. Republicans who did not support President Trump will need to coexist with him. American cronies who thrive on government contracts and handouts will need to put on an extra coat this winter. Foreign cronies will lose their monopoly money. Our allies will extend a hand to be shaken, not stirred. President Trump will get along well with most government agency employees, especially the border patrol, homeland security, and the military. He will get rid of umpteen regulations quickly and shrink government employment rolls. From the Trump for Prez site: Mr. Trump has over 25 million followers on social media. He frequently uses this platform to advocate for Conservative causes, Republican candidates and to educate the public on the failures of the Obama administration. Mr. Trump appears on Fox and Friends on Monday mornings and devotes much of his time to media interviews in order to promote a Free Market, the importance of a strong family, a culture of Life, a strong military and our country’s sacred obligation to take care of our veterans and their families. end quote That will continue but I think Trump’s use of tweets and emails will always be cognizant of hackers and spying. The economy will start out a bit rocky but by June 2017 it will be booming thanks to the government lowering taxes and getting the hell out of the way of business. Hillary will die. Bill will become more senile. Trump and First Lady Melania will be satirized on SNL and the late night shows, and misrepresented by the left wing propaganda machine but he will also be esteemed by most Americans like JFK. Fox News will increase its network lead. Peter
Peter
At his next publicized event or at a news conference he should make an appeal to each battle ground state, briefly telling them what his Presidency will change for their state. Traveling and speaking in person is a way to win votes but he should use the Bully Pulpit of the media and tweets to speak to each state in a personal, knowledgeable way. Explain more about his “contract with America.” Florida. This will be different if you elect me and not Hillary. Ohio . . . Pennsylvania . . . Michigan? I will bring our jobs back home and create an environment for business to thrive . . . etc. If Hillary is elected we will more likely become a nation of cronies, class warfare, moochers, victims of theft from taxation. She will bring on World War “Z,” malaise, and division. Peter

Michael Stuart Kelly
The Hillary people are already doing crap. Trump was hustled off the stage by the Secret Service in Nevada just now. You can see the video at Zero Hedge below. They all looked scared. Shortly after, he went back out and the crowd loved it. Trump said nobody said it was going to be easy and said the Secret Service people don't get enough credit. Michael Stuart Kelly
Here are some very inspiring words from Dr. Michael Hurd (who is an Objectivist or at least leans strongly toward ortho-Objectivism): Quote When you consider the magnitude of evasion, cowardice and the Republican politicians’ betrayal of their conservative and libertarian-leaning voters, it’s no wonder that someone like Donald Trump came along to steal the voters’ hearts. I’m surprised it took so long. The essence of narcissism, i.e., a false sense of entitlement, is the underlying theme of many psychological disorders. But Donald Trump achieved his business success in the context of a waning free market system. He defends his use of political pull as a requirement for achievement in today’s economy. And he’s arguably right. But when all was said and done, he still suffered losses when he failed to deliver the desired product to customers or investors. He gained profits only when he built or delivered a product (e.g., his hit television show) to satisfied viewers and advertisers. This is not something that Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama could have ever done. Everything these two second handers “achieved,” they achieved through coercion. This Facebook post of his points to an older article from July (see here), but man, do his words ever ring loud after all that has transpired since. I like this guy. Michael Stuart Kelly
Left wing darling of the new media and no friend of Trump, Abby Martin, just did a major report on John Podesta for her English TeleSur show, The Empire Files. WikiLeaks tweeted a link to this report, so they liked it (tweet not in this post). Abby Martin is not pleased with John Podesta. Not pleased at all. It is not good when Abby Martin is not pleased. Michael Stuart Kelly
It turns out the guy who was arrested for causing the scare at the Nevada Trump rally is a Republican, but avid supporter of Clinton. He was carrying a rolled up sign when he rushed the stage and was reaching in his coat. No gun, but lots of gestures and props to make it look like he had one. This guy studied in Chicago, so he probably knows Creamer, meaning he's probably a paid thug for the Democrats. Essentially, he's a nobody now trying to cash in on his 15 minutes of fame with press interviews about how he is a victim of Trump rally violence. If anybody wants to know more, see here for one of the better reports on him. Otherwise, brush this off like a speck. It's nothing and will not become anything. Brant Gaede
Weirder and weirder the campaign gets. Michael It's obvious Peikoff is gradually losing control of his King-of-the-Mountain situation, Rand's biggest gift to him. The irony is if Objectivism was Rand's gift to Branden taken back by her and taken over by Peikoff, he's been professionally and personally eating at that table all his adult life. What's wrong with the philosophy is what's wrong with Galt's speech: the literary foundation--that is, it belonged in the novel and for export it needed a precis not first an elaboration. The speech--and the Objectivism thus rendered--was made for the intellectual-cultural wars of the 1950s, 60s and 70s. That Objectivism died with Ayn Rand. Peikoff turned it into zombie Objectivism. --Brant
