Michael Stuart Kelly
Korben. btw - Shep is soooooooooo in the tank for Hillary, it's disgusting. I stopped watching Fox when he is on just because of his constant snipes at Trump. Now he has to announce Cruz's support of Trump. And he doesn't like it. Not one bit. I love how he was swallowing his bile in the video. Apropos, isn't Shep the name of a dog. Michael
Michael Stuart Kelly
Bill Kristol has reached a new threshold of stupid laced with denial. It's time for him to retire... Kristol believes--enough to say on national TV--that Trump, deep in his heart, knows he should never be president?!! That power-hungry demagogues like Hugo Chavez are better?!! And that he's not only rooting for Trump to choke in front of 100 million viewers, but he would get deep satisfaction out of it?!! Dayaamm! I stand in awe. Michael Stuart Kelly
Interesting article from the Washington Examiner: #TrumpTrain reaches 30 million, changes how campaigns use Internet On Facebook alone, Trump has reached over 11.5 billion impressions. The gist of the article (despite the massive numbers throughout Trump's people) is that this is the first presidential campaign where a candidate has been consistently in direct contact with his voters. He's not going through some kind of media or backroom group of elite entities with gatekeepers and sporadic train whistle stops for show. In other words, the elites are screwed this go around. Some folks may not like who the American people are choosing right now, but there is no doubt that the American people are the ones choosing Trump. No matter who tells them what Trump thinks, no matter what the spin is, Trump goes on social media and tells them himself--in plain language. The consistent huuuuuuuuuuge size of his crowds at campaign rallies is nothing more than people wanting to hear him with their own ears and see him with their own eyes. They are not interested in others talking about him. They are not interested in being told what to think about him. They'll look and see for themselves. So eat that, gatekeepers! Suck on it and pucker your lips from the sourness! This election is not about Democrats vs. Republicans. It's about elitists and globalists (and their cronies) vs. normal working Americans who like the constitutional sovereignty of the US and want to see "America first" as the priority of their elected officials. They are showing up in massive numbers all the time, too. They are showing up to support Trump in the face of some of the nastiest elite-run orchestrated criticism and covert manipulation games I have ever seen. Korben, I've given this some serious thought and I think Clinton in her "50 points ahead" video looks a lot like Uncle Fester of the original Addams Family. Imagine him in a blonde wig, a blue smock and an American flag in the background. The only problem is that Uncle Fester was lovable and his high whiny voice was far more pleasant than Clinton's. Mrs. Clinton, we will begin with a question for you. How is your health? Mrs. Clinton: Good evening, evening, uh, Lester, and America. I have been given a clean bill, bill, bill, of health by my doctor. In fact I am the healthiest candidate to date-date-date on this stage. HA! Lester Holt: Thank you Mrs. Clinton. You look fine tonight. Mister Trump? What would you do about the deteriorating situation in Africa? Minister of Agriculture Uri on Wednesday took an unexpected flight in order to visit a Mr. Levy. Levy has been under arrest in the country for about 15 months, suspected of tax evasion to the sum of about NIS 26 million. You look puzzled Mr. Trump. What country am I talking about? Do you even have a clue? Mr. Trump: What? What country are you talking about? Is Uri Russian? Is that a gotcha question? And what about Mrs. Clinton’s answer? She is stuttering. Shouldn’t you point that out? Lester Holt: Mrs. Clinton’s answer was short and to the point. If you don’t know what I am talking about let me move on. The passing of the Antarctic Conservation Act of 1978 brought several restrictions to U.S. activity on Antarctica. The introduction of alien plants or animals can bring a criminal penalty, as can the extraction of any indigenous species. What would you do . . . . Mr. Trump: Hold it Buster! Lester Holt: My name is Lester. Mr. Trump: Okay, Lester. I and the American people are watching you. You should be ashamed of yourself. Every time you give me a gotcha question I am going to point it out in front of the camera and I refuse to answer any more questions like that. Strike one, Lester. Mrs. Clinton: Lying Trump. I made the trip yesterday. ) Not one Hillary sign to be seen in the 45 minute drive downtown. Trump/Pence signage dot the landscape. They are big, there are many, and they are LOUD. This is the Bible belt/cow country where the deer and the antelope play (until hunted), where seldom is heard, a discouraging word and the skies are not cloudy all day. Amen. Gods will be done. But politics is only spoken of in hushed tones, while the word of god is on everyones lips and bless you's and amens are expected to lift hearts. There is but one real issue to stand ones ground here on the outskirts of Roanoke. There is a band of misfits who meet monthly. Most land owners believe it to be a tempest in a teapot. Some 20.000 people and I own land rights to 500 acres of shoreline. Me and my 6 acres of shoreline extending into the water are illegally regulated by AEPower who would rather believe their FERC granted license to flowage rights somehow grants them control over us and everything below the 800 ft flood line; vegetation, docks etc including the intrusive inspections and remedies requiring submission to their irrational requests. Even as the local and country ordinances set their own standards. If Trump seized on this one local issue he would in a moment connect his hot air pronouncements with the real world and demonstrate integrity in how he means what he says. Congressman Robert Hurt wrote me today, said, "The SHORE (Supporting Home Owners Rights Enforcement) Act will require that FERC take into consideration the private property rights of individuals in the Fifth District and across the country when exercising their authority as it relates to Smith Mountain Lake and other federally regulated hydro-projects. The SHORE Act also requires that licensees consider the benefit of private landownership to investment and increased tourism when developing recreation resources within a project boundary. Currently, the SHORE Act has been referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. Please rest assured that I will continue to working with my colleagues to advance the SHORE Act to protect the rights of individual citizens." Top honors on Friday typically go to ABC's Shark Tank, but the reality competition was down sharply from its year-ago premiere. It sank 45 percent among adults 18-49 to a 1.1 rating. It seems like when someone who has been Trump's friend all along (or at least favorable to him all along) comes out bashing him, the public castigates them. This process happened all during the primaries with certain candidates, it happened with the mainstream press, it happened with companies like Macy's, it happened with Glenn Beck, and now this thing with Mark Cuban and his show. (I admire Cuban and his achievements, but he has been acting like a pouty little bitch who lost her football hero boyfriend to the girl next door ever since Trump got the nomination. Talk about envy...) I don't think there is any great love for Trump per se involved, neither as a man nor as a celebrity. Although his supporters do love and admire him. But I think it's the archetype. Trump stands for his supporters, normal working Americans. They are tired of being sucked up to for votes and money by the elites, then dismissed and slandered when the money and power goodies arrive in the hands of the elites. His public sees the same behavior with how the establishment elites are treating Trump and, subconsciously, they know they've seen this pattern before. So they turn on the elite person who is acting like a hypocritical self-serving crony jerk. It's like Trump has been shooing them out in the open from underneath the bushes. His public sees themselves in him, and they see the elites through those eyes. Michael

Yours are the only ones doing that.> The issue I raised is foreign to Roanokers. Even large segments of Lakers unwittingly subject themselves to more of the same. I think most voters accept that single issues are enough to swing their vote to Trump. 1. Clinton does/doesn't stink 2.Trump is a better sort of choice. 3. Johnson has 0 chance. Honestly, on a personal level I dont comprehend the hoopla surrounding Trump. Even as a kid the people I looked up to (mostly sports and military personalities) got a simple nod and recognition for their achievements. I dont feel compelled to express giddy excitement over humans. I think much of this hoopla is founded in a belief that personal choice (vote) aligns with personal game changing events when really its energy directed in the moment and very temporary. Because time and time again what we see from politicians is marginal and piece meal, incremental change that cycles in and out but primarily drifts away from limited government. When I watch these videos, its similar to sitting on a boardwalk being entertained by people being themselves. Its a vicarious, monotonous thrill, one that I observe not one that Im part of. I cant dismiss the similarity of Trumpeters to Lakers. Some of whom drift happily unaware that their rights are being stripped while they applaud their arrival to the good life. Did anyone groan when Trump changed his version of the tax code, eliminating 2 tiers of earners? A group scored his version has adding $9T to the debt/deficit. I guess we'll see whether the debates bring out new ideas and/or seriousness. Im recording them but will watch only if there is major hub bub over who said what to whom. It'll be like a modern form of later day gladiators with nothing to lose as suspended in time we watch with the hope of seeing a nationally televised event showing a candidate being slain. cough cough UGE When really it may boil down to how much water one drinks and whose bladder holds up longest. )
