Mikee Posted January 22, 2013 Share Posted January 22, 2013 .Supercool again.The fellow who stated "This method doesn't require constant current flow" doesn't understand how it works or the significance of a superconductor. The magnetic field doesn't die out because once you start the current flowing there is zero resistance to stop the current flow. So, there is a constant current, it just doesn't require a constant em force to keep it flowing against resistance.
