I tend to agree with you and I have been predicting a Romney victory for a while, taking into account his awful campaigning.

The problem is as I stated above. These folks are prepared to lose and go into the courts en mass to keep power. I am not sure what the response will be to federal judges issuing injunctions across the board with the support of the "Justice Department."

Here is where the choice to focus, and the target of that focus is so important. What Adam says is factually true to this limited extent: Obama has undoubtedly lawyered up and is prepared to go to court if need be.

But here is the kicker: so is Mittens. And so was W in 2004. I know this because I have been asked to be on Mittens's legal team (no thank you, by the way; I decided to never again help Republicans after the bailout of Wall Street), and served on W's legal team in 2004. Each party has a fairly deep team of election lawyers in key states, ready to pounce in the event of shenanigans.

There is nothing wrong with this. It would be political malpractice to not be ready to go to court on election day.

Sorry, but the fact that the campaigns have lawyered up really is not a sign of the Apocolypse.

I don't think this will happen only that it ought to happen. He doesn't have the money to get the word out but he is still in the race and may not be elected but might get more votes than libertarian party candidates usually do.

He might have enough of a showing to make the LP a credible option next time.

I don't feel like investigating this further and playing gotcha or dealing with pseudo-innocence games like feigning ingenuousness. William asked where Adam was "coming up with this crap," as if Adam were making it all up. He wasn't. That was my point.

How serious the speculation or investigation went, I don't know. I didn't look into it. I just skimmed headlines and a paragraph here and there. But as I said, the possibility was reported and discussed all over the news. And it was.

What I consider to be a news source, so do you. A credible source. You mentioned the Washington Post. Their story said that the "Lebanese media" source was a website, and that the AFP Lebanese news agency said ir falsely attributed the Stevens story to them and that they disavowed it.( This happened with SkyArabia and the false crucifixion story also)

I was not aware that i was changing a subject, I took the subject to be the Stevens rumour. My mistake for not reading thoroughly.

As I said, it never occurred to me that Adam would make up such a thing, and when I went back and read the WSS comment I did not think he was implying that either. I thought he was just saying, "where did you hear that and why do you believe it?"

As to Salon you are partially right. I am somewhat familiar having read pieces on it, but mostly commentary. The commentary seemed to be based on facts, I did not perceive them as "high left" but I assumed it was not a source you would credit as it is strictly an online one. Sorry Salon! I will probably find you credible even if you are online and high left!
