Again - Like Ozone - No Field Experiments for Climate Research

"A key part of a UK-led project to investigate the feasibility of injecting particles into the stratosphere with the aim of cooling the Earth has been cancelled. In what would have been one of the first trials of geoengineering, the Stratospheric Particle Injection for Climate Engineering (SPICE) project will now not undertake field tests. Instead, the project will be restricted to lab experiments and computer simulations."

Like the Ozone Hole - no field experiments when doing the basic science. Here it is a whole generation later and the apparatus and infrastructure to even do such experiments does not yet exist - though politicians want regulatory schemes with trillion dollar impacts.

Science 101 does not apply when politics is at stake.

There is no climate -science-. There are only climate -models-. And these statistical contraptions have far too many parameters that can be jiggled to fit just about any data.
