Link to a nice discussion of entropy in an infinitely old universe.

A small google search indicates two basic themes:

Those agree or disagree that an infinite large and infinitely old universe is or is not a closed system - thus the 2nd law of thermodynamics does or does not apply.

Discussion of the observer within the system.

I did find it interesting that Wikipedia includes discussions of all kinds of models of the universe - except infinitely old and infinitely large.
