Congress 2012

The House in the 2012 election: 172 seats are surely for the Democrats. 214 for the Republicans. 49 seats are Toss-ups. 218 seats are needed for a Majority. Great Zeus, we will win!

The Senate race is also very good news for Patriots. The states that are sure to vote Democrat are 45 and Republican 47. At last ! ! ! The Senatorial toss up States are Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, Virginia, and Wisconsin. We can do this. If we can elect a Republican President, WHOEVER IT IS, they will be guided by a Tea Party Congress.

I understand the ingrained cynicism for Politicians by Objectivists. I recently went to Rand Paul’s home Senatorial site for residents and it sure seemed like he was boasting about the “necessary” pork he was bringing into Kentucky. But, isn’t a bit of that necessary for a politician? I give Rand Paul a pass. An austere budget will have them-thar’ rascals fighting over one pork chop.

Things are moving in the right direction. Fox is reporting today that for the Vice Presidential nomination 66 percent of Republicans are polling for Marco Rubio. Then Santorum, if Mitt wins, then Christi for VP.

Mr. Taylor:

Do you have a list, or, a link, to the 172 Democratic Congressional seats, or the 45 Senatorial seats?

Scott Brown is ahead of the marxist Professor who gave that rant about protecting your factory from marauding bands.

Virginia should be a Rep. win.

Missouri will definitely go Republican, as well as Wisconsin.

Have not looked at the other races.

Brant has a great warning that may actually manifest itself. We are in very, very precarious territory.

Sorry, Adam. I got those numbers straight from Real Clear Politics, Senatorial race, polls, something, something. Just go to RCP. It is very difficult cutting and pasting their columns of words. Brown is going to win in Mass? That’s great.

Brant, the truth is out there. If we own the White House the truth will be hammered home. The fiscal spending patterns of both parties got us to where we are, which is in a ditch. The presumptive Republican President must portray himself as the tow truck that is going to pull us out. The Tea Party is stronger than ever, according to Rush Limbaugh today. He is very optimistic about a victory, and avoidance of default or bankruptcy. The Legislature is ours. It’s almost a sure thing. If Obama is reelected he will be in for four years of abject misery. If he is elected is a big if. I see another “Operation Chaos” up Limbaugh’s sleeve. Can you see me smiling over the internet? How about a RushPac?

The following is a letter I sent to Rush last election.

PUC PAC – Rush The Vote.

Rush, I previously wrote that you should start a Parallel Underground Campaign (PUC) and I will reiterate.

25 dollars contributed by 1 million listeners equals the paltry 25 million dollars the RNC is giving McCain.

You could shoot higher with a PUC PAC sponsored by Rush Limbaugh.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, if you contribute $100, you would earn yourself a pre-recorded voice message, on your very own telephone from Rush Limbaugh!” or something similar in nature.

“For an invitation to a dinner with Rush you must contribute X amount of dollars.” Suddenly the money pours in.

10 million listeners, times 100 dollars each equals a cool billion. The interest alone could fund campaigns for the next hundred years.

Look at the chaos MoveOn dot org creates. Good Americans need a counterweight to those left wing, unpatriotic kooks.

You could help fund campaigns like Hillary’s to cause maximum chaos, for decades to come.

You would have a lot of new friends with a Billion Dollars! A lot of help would be offered.

The Swift Boaters have a pre-existing organization whose expertise you could tap into for advice on how to sustain a Political Action Committee.

How would you spend the interest on a $Billion? Who could you trust? It would be like The Treasure of the Sierra Madras. “Get your hands off my gold! I don’t got to show you no stinking badges.”

End of my own quote

Unfortunately, the Swift Boaters have stopped their activism. Care to give to a good cause?

Real Clear Politics Polls, February 25, 2012.

Senate: 47 Republican, 45 Democrat, 8 toss up– 51 for a majority

House: 214 Republican 172 Democrat, 49 toss up - 218 seats for a majority.

Electoral College votes: 227 Democrat, 130 toss up, 181 Republican. 270 Electoral College votes to win. Obama had 221 votes last week, so he is trending upwards. Head to head, all Republicans are polling to lose against Obama. When one Republican wins the Nomination we should see a tightening of the race.

Rick Wiley at the RNC is biased to his side, of course, but he lists the Swing States that have higher disapproval ratings for Obama: Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania. The Democrats should lose one if not all three states. In Florida, Wiley notes, 60 percent of elders give high negative ratings to Obama. If the Cuban vote there and the Hispanic vote in New Mexico and Nevada could be secured, the Republicans COULD WIN the White House.

I got this from two different sites, so I hope I did not duplicate any. I wanted to see if the Democrat, “welfare states” also generally called BLUE STATES were going broke. States struggling with budget deficits are: New Hampshire, Connecticut, Washington, North Carolina, Vermont, Maine, New Jersey, Arizona, Illinois, Nevada, California, Oregon, Colorado, Nebraska, Texas, Michigan, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Louisiana, Missouri, Florida, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, DC.

I did not see one solvent Democrat state. New Jersey is a tough one. Fiscally conservative Governor Christie is still going to have a state pension shortfall. But Texas? Perry better get his act together.

I say let the states that vote socialist reap the justified outcome of their evil stupidity. Then the productive workers will migrate to more prosperous states, and vote for Constitutional candidates. Stop the Democrat’s from buying votes that are bankrupting our nation. Allow no bailouts.
